I am extremely pleased with the service by this mobile locksmith. I lost my programmable key for my Toyota. When I contacted the Toyota dealership the cost of a complete new key was over $350 and would take a few days to offer and then a trip to the dealer. I found this company and call them. They gave me a quote of $185 complete and they came to my place of business the next day and prepared the key immediately. The technician is very friendly and professional. He offered that if I should find my lost key he would reprogram it for free so that it would continue to work with the car. My situation was this: I purchased an Audi that only came with one key fob, and the keyless entry buttons on the fob did not even work, so I basically had just a metal key. That's where Bill comes in. Bill not only came out to my office to take care of this for me, but he gave me a price that was affordable and actually lower than the 8 other quotes I received on Yelp (and lower than the quotes I received online as well as from the dealership) - some of which stated they would not refund all or a portion of the fee if the programming of the fobs I provided did not work. Bill had no such caveat. I provided Bill with 2 OEM Audi key fobs (in addition to the non-working one that came with my vehicle) that I purchased from a reputable seller and he was to both cut the blank keys as well as program the fobs so they would start the car as well as keyless entry capabilities. As it turns out, the used fobs I purchased were unable to be programmed, and Bill explained the situation to me in a very clear and concise way that I could understand. He also provided me with a potential solution where he would replace the chips in the fobs and everything would work perfectly as it should. In the end, Bill left me with 3 working fobs (2 with brand new key blades that he cut on-site) that all start the vehicle, all work for keyless entry, and that was exactly what I wanted and needed. Of all the automotive locksmiths I called, this company was the most responsive and competent. I had lost my Hyundai Sonata 2011 FOB and didn't want to spend the dealer costs for re-keying it. Perfect service. He came to me in Evanston, arrived right on time, and made me an extra key for my 2012 Toyota Camry in literally 10 minutes. He showed me the successful reading on the computer that it has been programmed and answered my question about the G chip versus H chip. I'll update the review if I have an trouble with the key, but he said the programming is guaranteed for life and the remote (unlock) function is guaranteed for 180 days. Initially I called them because someone had lost her car key. Within a short amount of time the key would not work for the car. It was an expensive issue when we once again had to get a new key and have it programmed. We called to let them know and it was like dealing with the Russian mafia, we were bullied and yelled at and couldn't get a word in edge wise. Accidentally locked myself out of my car while grocery shopping in wheeling by closing my trunk with the keys laying next to the groceries. Thankfully I had my phone on me and found this locksmith on google. The person I talked to promised he would be at the store within a short period of time because I was in a hurry to drop the groceries off and get to work on time.
