This is a dishonest company . it doesnot live up to what it promises, we changed cell phone carriers bc they offered this bogus $200 Visa cards to each of us, they told us that they we would receive them through the mail / here we are 5 months later ; I just spoke with a flippant customer rep named Oscar who spoke to me like HE WAS DOING ME A FAVOR! That there was a " ticket " made and that he would contact me - that's a joke bc he said the same thing 3 weeks ago. the worse is that the manger told us that he guaranteed that we would receIve the cards in 3 days My wife and I are canceling our internet subcriprion. I don't understand when you walk into comcast with a problem, you express the issue, and a representative says it's fixed and you go home and it's not. They were happy to give me all the equipment, but now that I have converted from AT&T and DIRECTV, this is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I'm actually going back. My husband & I got so lucky to have Brian help us with adding a new phone to our account. We were in and out of there under and hour. I can remember being in Sprint multiple times for 4+ hours getting a new phone. Brian was very friendly, knowledgeable and was helping someone on the phone as well as helping us! It was quite impressive multitasking. He gave us his card and said if we have any issues to ask for him directly, it felt like he really cared & took pride in his job and I feel this isn't something you see very often anymore, especially nowadays. Purchased an internet and cable plan online for the first time, and was sent a text that my order had been confirmed and would be ready for pickup soon. A few days later, was sent a text to pick up my TV Box from this location. When I arrived to pickup my order I was told that they were out of TX Boxes. Huh?? I thought my order was on hold? Does that mean they gave away my TV Box to someone else? Or that they're given out on a first come first serve basis? Whatever the reason, this was a massive waste of time. I would've given them only 1 star, but at the very least they offered to ship my TV Box to my address free of charge. read more

My router died yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. I called customer service and the automated message wanted me to wait 10 minutes for a reboot in order for a live agent to help me troubleshoot. I totally understand their process however I looked online and see what time the nearest location was closing as I figured I would need to replace the equipment after I speak with help desk. I work from home so it was important I have internet for the next day. This location was closing in 35 minutes and I knew I didn't have time for a live agent to call me back to confirm what I believe was a dead router and still make it in time to drive to Concord. I jumped in the car before the 10 minute reboot was up. A friendly gentleman assisted me and I was able to switch out my router for the same one no questions asked. The entire transaction took less than 5 minutes. I've been a customer with Xfinity/Comcast for years. read more

I switched my internet and phone service to Xfinity last July after my internet was suddenly cut off in a dark midnight when it was unexacting power off. Xifinity internet was stable, but has many insecurity issues. My bowser always being hacked even though I have done so many device erasing and system checking and did not use app at all even for legitimate ones. some browser functions were disable, my emails for reporting criminal were blocked. Last November, some websites I used very often for my benefit and study were blocked. The pop up window said it was blocked by my Internet provider. So I contacted Xifinity, they took it seriously and fix very soon. They seemed like fix it from outside equipment. Then everything was back to normal. However, since last month, things came back again and this time included my cell phone as well. The pop up window said it was connection problem, but all other sites had no any problem, only certain sites I used very often. I called them again but no solution. And then kept going having another issues, the pop up window said my ISP changed my IP and DNS. I wrote email to CEO and Vice president, but all my email were not deliverable. I wonder, what is going on inside my internet and phone network? read more

If I could give a zero I would. The problem I have with Xfinity is when you sign a contract and speak with a representative I was assured verbally that my contract price would not go up for 2 years even by a penny. Twice during this 2 year contract my prices have gone up significantly. When you speak with a live person they say it's taxes and fees and legally they can go up based on the contract. If that is the case I wouldn't sign the contract after verbally being told the price would stay the exact same for 2 years. Classic bait and switch. If I didn't have to pay a significant amount to cancel the contract I would have canceled already. read more

I have tried for 3 days to reach live person at Xfinity. My alarm system needs batteries and I cannot reach anyone to get them. my bill was raised $16.51 and I have no idea why. It is a horrible business to try to reach and I wish there was an alternative. read more

Not Good would be an upgrade Just a warning for those of you who need technical service in regard to cable internet. I have problems with poor picture quality, so STEP 1: I went online looking for a solution. I found no actionable solution to my problem. STEP 2: I contacted customer service on the phone (there's another problem by itself). They said that they would send out a technician (no information about any cost). STEP 3: the technician arrived, early. STEP 4 the tech checked signal strength. STEP 5: we confirmed that there weren't picture quality problems at the time (which we all know that it's not a predictor of future quality). Okay we're all happy now, right. until the next set of problems, which occurred less than a day later. Okay bad enough, now comes the kicker. there is a STEP 6: I was charged $100 for a tech to check his signal, not in the house but at the external connections. So this sends the FINAL STEP.... you don't get service. read more

I closed my account but yet they are still charging my bank account for service,I have tried to call them to fix this problem but can't talk to anyone because the automated person will not let me talk to anyone because my account is closed, so I went online to speak to an agent was number 42 on the list 2 hours later made it to number 1 then they said there was no agent to talk to and they were now closed what a hassle to try to fix this problem, Xfinity YOU SUCK! read more

Do not buy your phones from Xfinity or switch your service to them for any reason. Classic bate-n-switch. I was lured in by their offer to switch my four family phones, each for $200.00, from a different carrier. They then told me it had taken too long on their end (two weeks) for them to unlock my phone from AT&T, which was 100% handled by XFinity. Their manager Christian is a flat out liar who then laughed and told me, "I sell phones, not customer service." Total sleaze bags. I would rate -10 if I could. read more

I went into the Concord Xfinity store this morning with my 87 year old father who was upgrading two old flip phones to two new smart phones for he and my mother. Adam had helped earlier to identify the most appropriate phones and Max was super helpful and patient with us , including knowing how to operate the old phones, and waiting as we tried to remember a SSN and needed a bathroom break next door. I was at the Xfinity store here in Concord. While waiting, I chatted to an elderly lady(80+), she told me that she paid her bill at the Xfinity office, then received a bill afterwards for $5.98. She was told by the employee that it was a "convenience" fee. I atold the employee that was 3 feet away from me that the fee should be reversed, she told me to shut up and it was none of my business, at which point I called her rude and the conversation was over and she just kept talking to me. The lady even told her that I was helping her....When my contract is up, I am so gone from this company. read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever received! I'm absolutely guessing , but the only thing I can come up with is that XFINITY has gotten so big that they just don't care about their customers anymore. Let's start with, you dial Xfinity and you get an automated system that you cannot bypass. You cannot get off the automated system until you answer everything that it wants you to answer. If you do not respond the way it wants you to or if you give the wrong response I.e. account number, phone number or Social Security number it will hang up on you or it will keep repeating the question that it wants you to answer. I'm not sure about anybody else but I would like to speak with a human being and every time I asked for a representative it kept repeating the questions that it wanted me to answer if I did not answer them it would hang up on me if I kept asking to speak with a representative of Xfinity it would hang up on me. My frustration began today because I had an appointment I went to the bathroom I thought I heard somebody at the door I washed my hands I clean my self up and I got to the door within about two minutes there was nobody there no note no truck no nothing my wife gets a call saying that they were there banging on the door and that they left and they are not coming back. This is completely unacceptable for somebody that sat around all day waiting for a technician to come and tell us that he banged on the door several times for several minutes which is a complete fabrication. I don't know any company that shows up at your property for an appointment knocks on the door and then just leaves, no text message, no phone call, nothing and then when they do call it's to tell you that they came and they're not coming back. As far as I am concerned XFINITY is the worst, the very worst, the absolute worst company out there when it comes to taking care of their customers. Beware of UNINFORMED sales people!!!!! After going into the Concord, CA store and speaking to Jay about trying to lower my monthly bill, he found a "new" package for me. I asked at least 3 times, "will anything about my channel selection change"? Three times he assured me NOTHING will change. WRONG! I lost several of my favorite channels. i went back into the store and also phoned Comcast to get my original package back. I was told I am unable to get back what I had. That package was not offered any longer since I changed it. I had gone into the Oakland store the day before. They tried selling me a home security package stating it will lower my bill!!! I have been a Comcast customer for 27 years and will now take my business somewhere else.
