I normally do not write Yelp reviews, and I hate to even leave one. But what happened this past week was extremely unprofessional on Clayton's part. He did not show 3 separate days (One was due to child being sick, another for a freidnsgiving, and last one was just a no call/no show). I understand life happens (which is why I rescheduled after two mishaps) but it is common courtesy to at least give someone a call/text to let them know if they are unable to make it. Especially given that I took off work for the 3rd attempt and to get no call/no showed despite being accommodating to two missed appointments. He even read my message asking where he is and didn't respond... I honestly can't comprehend how someone can have this level of unprofessionalism. 3 chances and a giant waste of time. Hopefully he will change and be more responsive to future customers; it is almost comical at this point. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Clayton from the floating tv. He has dismantled electronics from our old wall hutch cabinets and reinstalled everything into our new hutch. Clayton is extremely knowledgeable and patiently answers all my questions and shows me how to work everything. Clayton is excellent. He arrived within the appt time and even notified me that he would be a little late which I very much appreciated. He was fast, really knowledgeable with good recommendations, does quality workmanship and is very reasonable. The tv he hung for us is perfect and he made sure that everything worked together, the sound bar, blue ray player, cable box and remotes when he was done. Other installers don't do this. He also replaced a cable that was not working well on another tv and he did this for free since he was the original installer for that tv and he told me that the cable was guaranteed for life. He's the best tv installer I've seen. My entire family prefers calling him when they need tvs mounted but he even offers a lot more services that we haven't tried yet. He is good. read more

Clayton's a nice enough guy but super flaky - wasted 3 weeks going back and forth, hosting a tour of our home and waiting on a quote that never arrived (we're mid-remodel w/ walls open, so great time to add wires / cabling per-install). Zero communication when I tried following up. I understand you're a one man shop and are doing the best you can - but a simple text would've allowed us to source an alternative provider within the timeframe we were looking to get started. I have no doubt that Clayton does good work - that's why we were excited to work w/ him - would not recommend given my experience. Clayton was great. He kept in touch the week prior to my install date. He was running a little late and even texted to keep me updated. I live in Dixon and he's coming from the Concord area. I do the same commute so I can understand. He's very knowledgeable on how to place the Television based on what room you are in. Depending if you're sitting on a couch or laying on a bed. He made recommendations and went through each option and what would be best for your experience. He also put up a mantel mount for the TV and was very knowledgeable on what to do. I had no clue and never done one, he had it up in less than 20 minutes. He also went through and explained on how to adjust the mantel mount and what to expect over time with it. read more

Got ahold of the owner scheduled a tv install for Wednesday he said he's driving and to text him my address to confirm. I text him my address. And I had a follow up question and so I texted him. No answer. Called later that day no answer. Then texted to confirm still on for Wednesday. No answer. Wednesday comes appointment window was 9-11. I texted him that morning at 7am. Nada. At 10 am I get a "hey my vehicle is throwing codes we need to reschedule". So we agree on Friday. Haven't heard from him after I texted about a sound bar and called and left a message. During this time I put out a message to other installers on Yelp. For some reason his is on the list. He replied to that before replying to my text..... so being busy isn't an excuse cause you were able to send a quote on an app. I scheduled someone else for Saturday. Stay away if you don't want your time wasted. If you look at his negative reviews he gives these same excuses allll the time. read more

I had Clayton do two installations at our home -- one was complex and involved him installing a large 77" TV on a brick wall over our fireplace, as well as relocating the cable modem and one of my router nodes into a cabinet. The other installation was more conventional. Both required mounting the TV bracket, TV, running power to the new TV location, and pulling ethernet and HDMI cables. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to this type of work, so I was a bit nervous at the start. Clayton was meticulous with the installations, as if he was doing the work on his own home. When he concluded, the installations were perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend Clayton and would not hesitate to hire him again for any audio/TV/home theater type installation in the future. My review is based solely on customer service as we did not get our TV mounted by this business. This one-person company is a total flake. Communication is inconsistent or flat out nonexistent. Scheduled an appointment for Tuesday and Clayton provided a window. I reached out 30 minutes into the said window and didn't hear back til almost 2 hours later with an excuse that he was stuck on a different job. Forgivable which is why I rescheduled for the next day (he offered). Next day comes and I called and texted an hour after he didn't show. His response didn't make sense saying he was stuck in the city that I live in. He then asks if the next day works and you guessed it, nothing. He stopped responding altogether.
