Needed to replace an old motion sensing floodlight on the back side of my house with a new model that has a camera. Possibly could have done it myself, but it's wired and just under the eaves, so a stretch for an old guy. Eric Parker to the rescue. He removed the old light, braving a gnarly guardian spider and a bird's nest of unknown age and origin. Then he mounted the new light and patiently worked with me to adjust the camera for optimal viewing. Great job. Eric is a licensed electrician, so this was a trivial job for him. I asked him about some other electrical issues and he had good advice about my EV charger and an issue with my home office circuit. So whatever electrical issues you may have, Eric can handle them. He's reasonable, responsive and does quality work. Glad to have him as one of my resources. read more

Eric is an excellent electrician - he is thorough, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. We really wanted our huge coffee machine inside our custom-made cabinet to save kitchen counter space. In order to use our coffee machine, we needed an outlet inside our cabinet. I asked many electricians - all of them passed or never responded to me. However, Eric was quick to respond and confident that this is something he can do. I was worried about any additional holes or patching to our walls, but Eric reassured us that he can avoid holes or that he would be able to patch one if he needed to make a small hole. He checked all the studs and all outlets to see if he could go through the outlets instead of making a hole. He was able to go through one of the outlets to seamlessly create a power line from there to inside of the cabinet. He measured carefully, cut carefully, and created the perfect outlet inside our cabinet. No mistakes or damages. I also requested: (1) an additional shelf and (2) to raise the coffee machine by a few inches, which required shelf holes. He took the time to buy a shelf from Home Depot to match our custom-made shelves and he cut it perfectly to fit in our cabinet. We highly recommend Eric as an electrician. His hourly flat rate price is reasonable and he did an awesome job! We will definitely hire Eric again for any electrical services. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work Eric did installing my chandelier. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely took pride in his work. He was careful with my home and took the time to make sure the chandelier was installed exactly the way I wanted it and left everything clean when he was finished. It's not always easy finding someone who is both skilled and dependable, but I felt completely comfortable having him in my home. The chandelier looks beautiful, and I'm so pleased with how everything turned out. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely call him again for any future electrical work! read more

Eric really deserves to be listed at the top for electricians. He does great work, is prompt, and really cares about what the customer needs and wants, even if those conflict, he's great and helping find the balance. I've known him for quite some time, and not only is his work exemplary, he's a great person on top of that. You won't find better value for the work done, with quality and customer care being right at the top, making sense for what you can do within your budget. I am very happy with the work done by Parker Electric. I requested 65" tv to be mounted , a power outlet and a brush plate installed. Eric treated us and our home like his own. We brought him in to test out our electric setup in the garage and to install recessed lighting. When we had other maintenance guys come in to work on other aspects of the house, he advocated for us to those other guys. When he found out that our pipes were closer to the ceiling than most other homes, he took extra care to make sure he worked around them to get the new lights installed without damaging existing infrastructure. He also gave various other recommendations of home and living improvements, but without any pressure to purchase anything (all purchases made ourselves through HD/AMZN anyway) or hire him for another job. Where he could, he took the initiative to bring to our attention then fix up minor things here or there. We definitely felt like he was acting in our best interests. Would highly recommend! read more

On one occasion, Parker Electrical (Eric) installed bathroom exhaust fans, electrical dimmer switch and outlets, and attic overhead lights. On a more recent occasion, Eric did dry rot repair and restoration work on my fenced wall and balcony. My HOA required dry rot repair to prepare my home for exterior painting (by an HOA-hired contractor). Eric is very focused, dedicated, and attentive to details. He offered practical and cost effective solutions. He did an excellent job. I highly recommend Parker Electrical. read more

Eric is awesome. Responded and came on the same day and replaced two GFCI outlets for us.

Eric was absolutely fantastic to work with. He helped us install a large-screen TV and truly went above and beyond what was expected. He was running late from a previous job but still showed up late in the evening and took the time to finish the installation properly instead of rushing or rescheduling. That alone says a lot about his work ethic and commitment to his customers. On top of the TV installation, Eric also helped diagnose and properly wall-mount an exterior light fixture that had been incorrectly installed by a previous contractor. He carefully explained what had gone wrong, secured it correctly, and made sure everything was safe and solid--something that gave us real peace of mind. He was professional, patient, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in doing things the right way. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work and the safety of his customers. If you're looking for someone reliable, skilled, and willing to go the extra mile--even at the end of a long day--Eric is your guy. Highly recommend and will absolutely call him again. read more

I had Eric come out out to help us with outlets in the house that needed to be corrected. He came out on a Saturday and spent over the 2 hours we had agreed to in order to make sure the work was done. He also took a look at some lights and provided great insight into some other systems I didn't have on my radar. He is honest and does good work. Highly recommended. read more

This guy is the best. He was concerned with the electrical issue when I messaged him and he came out that evening after his other call. I placed a ceiling fan / new power source installation request at 6:50 am, called & hired Parker Electrical at 7:05 am. Eric Parker arrived at 10:10 am with all the parts required based on our conversation, and the job was fully completed by 1:30 pm. Eric did an amazing job and was very reasonable! Also, he cleaned up after himself! You won't regret hiring him for your various electrical needs! Also, while in the attic, he suggested and we agreed that we needed a gable attic fan. Eric is great. I actually mistakenly provided him the wrong address in yelp app it autofilled an incorrect address. He responded and I was able to let him know the correct address. He came in and solved my flickering light problem with his very first troubleshooting step. He had a switch that wasn't dimming as it should after he installed it and he took it out and put in one that functioned correctly. Even though i said we never use dimmer he wanted it done right with functioning product which is why he has so many great reviews he wont cut corners even when given opportunity. He did great work for my specific issue. I will call him again for any electrical or handyman issues that are beyond my expertise. Thanks Eric for fixing our flickering lights and replacing our dimmer switch. I appreciate it and my apologies about the address typo. read more

We reached out to Parker Electric to install recessed lighting, ceiling fans, new outlets, and to troubleshoot several electrical issues. Eric was very responsive and is extremely knowledgeable. Once on the job, he is hard working, conscientious, and committed to doing things the right way. Eric is seriously the best! He was extremely helpful on a variety of issues and even identified and fixed shoddy work previously done by another electrician. We wish we found him sooner. Eric Parker did a great job installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet and added a 50A breaker in my garage. From start to finish, Eric was a professional and was able to determine the best place to locate the outlet among the multiple electrical panels I had for solar and backup batteries. The end result was exactly what I only needed. He was very efficient, super knowledgeable, and budget friendly. I want to recommend Parker Electrical (Eric Parker) for anyone needing electrical or general handyman work. Eric is a one-man operation -- friendly, dependable, and very easy to work with. He did several projects for me, including installing new outlets (one for a bidet toilet seat and one under the vanity), replacing timers with smart switches, and tightening down a few faucets that needed attention. He takes his time to do things right, explains what he's doing, and cleans up when he's done. I really appreciate finding someone reliable who handles both electrical and small household repairs -- definitely recommend Eric for anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled handyman-electrician. read more

Eric came by yesterday to fix several issues at my house (outdoor plugs not working, mismatched light and plug fixtures, and need for more outdoor outlets). I was so impressed with his diligence and work. He was very efficient, listened to what I wanted, provided answers where I had questions, cleaned up the area he worked on (this was very much appreciated), and provided great suggestions. He is meticulous in his work - he even had a level to make sure each outlet was straight. I would definitely call Eric for anything electrical I need in the future; you cannot find this hard a worker who has such a great sense of pride in his work. It shows. I requested quotes from multiple electricians for interior lighting work at my rental property. Many of them were unreasonable and tried to upsell me on other services I wasn't asking for. Super reasonable. 6/5 stars. Highly recommend. read more

I needed all the smoke detectors replaced in my house, one of them had already started chirping due to being past its 10 year expiration, and I knew all of them would soon since they were all put in at the same time when the house was new. Eric is super hard working and made quick work of the job, even on the detector that was on an 18 foot ceiling. His pricing was very reasonable for the work done, and I would definitely hire him again. read more

I tried a local electrician (S & B) just down the street from me and they scammed me out of $250, claiming they couldn't work on the fan because they weren't familiar with the brand, but still charged me for coming out. They told me to "google it". Eric was very indignant on behalf having to deal with them before calling him and in no time, reset my fan and showed me how to reset it myself, which I did later that night. Also gave me a discount for how minor a job it was. Definitely will hire again! read more

Eric Parker is a standup guy. He does what he says he will - on time and within budget. I tried to add an electrical outlet over my fireplace on my own so I could mount a tv.
