The wooden railings on my porch was 25 years old and was starting to crack and splinter. Also, there was some dry rot on one of the support beams from the sprinklers hitting that support beam. We reached out to Rob's Odd Jobs on their website for an estimate to complete a painting project in our home. Unfortunately, they did not do this kind of work. However, they did suggest we contact a painting company they recommend for this type of project. We received an extremely reasonable estimate from the recommended company and chose them for our project. We were so happy with the results and will be working with the recommended company again. I see Rob post on some of the social media I follow (Nextdoor and Facebook) suggesting his company for some projects. OMG. This is a bitter sweet review I suppose.... My daughter's hamster went missing. We couldn't find it but we could smell it. Rob mentioned having a minimum 2 hour fee and asked if there was anything else that needed attention just in case he could...sniff out the problem. Well, hambone was found. RIP little hamster. That was done in about 5 minutes. He asked what else he could do to fill out the remaining time so I could get "the best value for my money". Who does that? Rob did !!! I told him I couldn't think of anything so he offered to change all the batteries in my smoke alarms and co2 detectors. Then he swapped HVAC filter, the refrigerator water and air filter. By then I came up with a few more things. He mounted our tv to the wall and decorated my dining room too! So grateful we found an honest handyman who cares about a single mom on a budget. He did things I didn't even realize needed to be done. I ended up finding more projects but he only charged me (by the minute) for the additional work. Strongly recommend- I had a list of a number of small jobs, and the main one of assembling an exercise bicycle. I was able to send pictures of some of the tasks, and they did an excellent job of sending someone who had the right skills. Rich got up on the extension ladder and saw the squirrel enjoying himself in my attic. I was imagining the squirrel was renting out the space on Squirrel AirBNB.
