The person said to make it easier he would need to drill some holes to help hide the wires. He asked if we had paint and said he could patch it. Next thing you know we have a 5"x5" hole in our fireplace along with holes in another wall. The patch was left unfinished. He said he had a paint brush initially and then later said he didn't. Pretty sure he was using a paper towel. Then told me I should paint it in an hour. Called their office and Nikki told me their team doesn't do paint or patching...ok. Why say you can? She couldn't tell me when someone would be back out and never called me back. So we have a mounted tv but now we need a professional painter to come fix the botched patch. Not to mention I spent 30 mins cleaning up after they left.

FSTG-DREAM-PRO 10G Cloud Gateway with 100+ UniFi device / 1,000+ client support and 3.5 Gbps IPS routing. was quoted as $999.99 when it retails for $379 FSTG 10Gbps SFP+ Direct Attach Cable (1meter) was quoted at $29.99 when it retails for $15 OvrC Pro Lifetime License + Hub, non-locking barrel connector power connection type was quoted as $999.99 when it retails for to $199 *note this is only available to authorized AV dealers but a 5x mark up is insane I asked why and was told it was small business markup and was told quote "It includes sourcing, shipping, platform fees, payment processing fees and more that our clients may not originally consider. The raised price also covers our regular remote network maintenance, ensuring your network continuously runs at peak performance following the conclusion of the project. A large portion of business model is our post-install support and efforts to create peace of mind for our clientele regarding our systems." However on that quote was also a $70/mo service plan that was supposed to cover the aforementioned post-install support. I asked about the double charge for support and asked if I could bring my own equipment and they ignored my email So this company is SUPER SHADY and please review your quotes and google any equipment that they tell you that you need because 1. you probably don't need it (we ended up fixing the internet ourselves) and 2. they are probably overcharging you. Just run the quote through Claude or ChatGPT and ask if there's anything concerning in it. It will do all the research for you.

He responded quickly, showed up on time (early actually), and was extremely knowledgeable. Once he arrived, I explained that I had been going back and forth for months between upgrading to a soundbar with a sub or investing in a full audio system (receiver, towers, sub, etc...). We spent well over 30 minutes talking through the pros and cons of each, along with important things to consider like the size of the house and living room. Ultimately, I decided that I will be upgrading our current soundbar to a newer and nicer one in the near future. He was extremely polite and patient, taking the time to explain terminology and concepts in a way I could easily understand as we installed and set things up (picture and display settings, 1080p vs. 4K capabilities, audio/video/HDMI cables and what they do, device "switches," and how everything works together) as he was installing things so I'll be able to manage it myself down the road. And he came with mounts and equipment that was better than what I bought and was cheaper as well. I highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him again in the future.

Jerrick was extremely helpful. He gave me multiple options and alternatives to what I originally envisioned and gave me an honest opinion on what was possible. For my set up, I originally wanted to leave my sound bar on the mantle and hide the cord. He simply removed an outlet cover and used a camera to determine how extensive the task would be in terms of opening a new hole in the wall. We decided to just use wire covers for now. He will even test solutions first before having me commit to expensive installs. I have been burned working with more established "high end" installation shops where you just have to trust what the guys are telling you and then never hear from them again. Not with Pacific Wired. In phase 1 of our remodel, the VSS team helped us update our wifi and establish Sonos across our 2 most populated rooms and our back patio. (Their flexibility and patience shined here as they did not push to expand into additional rooms yet because they knew we were planning a Phase 2 remodel) Because they did such a stellar job on the Phase 1 and because they were so professional, fast and flexible we reached out and asked them to add Sonos speakers across the entire house, plus 1 Sonos "Move" so we'd have another outdoor speaker we could place wherever we wanted in the back or front yard when entertaining guests. VSS gets 5+ stars from me because additionally as part of Phase 2 they also identified and FIXED a deficiency in the wifi setup that was mainly due to a wifi service upgrade after they had completed Phase 1. This improvement to the wifi was incredibly timely given my 3 kids were (still are) all home doing distance learning because of Covid-19. If you have A/V needs, these guys are the best. I highly recommend them and they have secured a lifetime customer in me for the high quality of their work, professionalism and customer service. He called about an hour later to check on me, and I was beyond happy he resolved the issue; I didn't have to leave my crib, and it was done within an hour (after letting it sit for years). Everything worked perfectly. I have my computer and electronics handyman for all future work. See my review distribution. I'm very fair and will call out less-than-desirable service.
