It wouldn't start along with the TV and the sound was coming from the TV's speakers, not the soundbar. Patrick walked me through a way to reconnect the bar to the TV and then helped me to re-enable HDMI ARC on the TV's settings and- voila! - sound through the soundbar again. After several quotes and on-site interviews at my home I settled on Beyond Sound. Mike, the Owner and another employee did a thorough walk-thru and discussion of what I was expecting along with my budget. The system was purchased from several distributors who inventoried upscale audio & video products. The installation started in about two weeks, per Mike's estimated schedule. The install took a couple days including wiring up in the hot attic and down the inside of walls. When completed Mike took lots of time explaining the remote system along with my iPhone connection. Wow, what a sound system with the beautiful TV. Who needs to go to the theater for the perfect sound and picture. I have it all. The finished product and install was on time, within budget, and I actually like Mike, the owner and his employee, who treated my Wife and I like the valued customers we are. Before choosing a company, I compared several TV mounting businesses on both Yelp and Google. I ultimately decided on Bay Area Wall Mounts because of their established reviews and the photos of their previous work, and I'm glad I did. Ismat installed our 65" LG C6 TV along with an LG S95TR soundbar above our fireplace and mantel. I was initially unsure whether the fireplace and mantel would make the installation more difficult, but he handled it without any issues and made sure everything was centered, level, and positioned properly. One of the biggest things I wanted was a clean installation with no visible cords. They were able to create a power bridge system that concealed the wiring and routed everything to a nearby outlet. They also left us with additional connectivity so we can add two more HDMI devices in the future. The finished setup looks very clean and professional. The price was fair, although perhaps a little on the higher side compared with some options I looked at. That said, I would rather pay for quality workmanship and have the job done correctly than simply choose the cheapest option, especially when mounting an expensive TV above a fireplace. Overall, I'm very happy with the finished result and the quality of the installation. Well, they can and not only can they do most anything you need, they do it with patience, lots of grace, a sense of humor, total dedication to perfection and without ripping you off. Once you start talking to the people who work here you will find that most of them have been there for over a decade and some of them have been there almost two decades and that's because they love what they do and it shows in every aspect of this process. We had an initial consultation which they credit back to you if you have the work done and then we made our choices with tons of guidance based on our budget and needs. The team came on the day of install and they were clean, professional, knowledgeable and just plain good guys. We had one little hiccup after they left and they immediately came back and fixed it. We started with Quincy in the store to pick out the TV and eventually started working with Alex for the entire set up and he sticks with you through everything until the very end, even follow ups. He's easy to get a hold of and responds directly. Lloyd came to do the once over for install and the guys who came to do the work were Desmond and Alan.
