I would highly recommend Honu Experience. We had a different individual (not licensed) and his assistant install our 2 systems and they did not quite finish. They promised to come back the next morning. We could not get a hold of them after that to answer our questions and finish the job. They just disappeared. We were highly frustrated. I happened upon Stan and Honu Experience after that and it truly was a 'whole nu' experience. Stan was straight up and showed me that our receiver was partially blown. He showed me how the previous individual had 'rigged' the wiring to partially work.....it gave us sound but not true surround sound. I really appreciate the fact that Stan was not afraid to show me the bad news and let me decide how to proceed. I happily went with his recommendation and got a new receiver which he arranged at a great price. Stan took the time to explain the system and showed us clearly what to do. Thank you Stan!! read more

Stan and his staff at The Honu Experience did an outstanding job in helping design, purchase and install a home theater system with full surround sound in my renovated garage/Man cave. Stan takes a consultative approach to his work. After asking what I wanted from the project, he presented me with a few different options. Then working together, we selected the one that best fit my needs both in performance and price. I love the new system and I will be having Stan back soon to renovate our main Audiovisual room in the house! read more

Two thumbs up for Stan and Hanu Experience. Stan hung a large TV for us over our new console. He hid the wires in the wall and connected all the devices. He took time to explain how to access each device and shared a great app with us that goes with our receiver that we never knew about. Stan didn't try to up sell any products. When we were vacillating between our current surround sound and a sound bar he said our receiver was a good one and relatively new. He left the choice up to us with no pressure to ditch the old system. Everything is up and running. Very pleased with the final product. read more

I called just to get some troubleshooting information on why my soundbar stopped working with my tv, and it turned into them coming out and mounting my 75 inch and surroundsound instead! Stan is really informative, patient and answered all my questions. Even though we weren't able to resolve it on the phone, it's turning out to be a better experience because now my TV is going to be mounted on the wall. I'm hoping it's not an issue with my sound bar and Stan will be able to take care of it on Tuesday when he is scheduled to come out. Give these guys a call! read more

I first contacted Stan regarding connecting my old speaker equipment which he agreed to come out and do. While at my house we started a conversation around new home theatre equipment and he was so knowledgeable and patient with the many questions I had. It took us 3 months, but he worked out several quotes and options for me based on what I wanted. As far as price goes no one can beat Stan on his prices for hardware. He installed a 5 in roof ceiling speakers, a wired subwoofer and new receiver. He was done in 1 day and left the home as clean as he found it. Thank you Stan, I look forward to working with you again in the summer for our outside entertainment package. read more

I needed someone to come make sense of a lot of wires, organize and hook up my home theatre and living room TV with components, hang a TV and hide wires; and I needed it done quickly. Stan came the same day to advise and give a quote. I knew I'd hire him because he was taking the time to explain several options without pushing any particular service or product, show me how to use my theatre system and basically just chat like a friendly guy (not just trying to make money and get out). He accommodated me for the ASAP request and arrived to do the work the next evening. He did an amazing job in both rooms and made it all look great!
