I needed a dash cam for my Honda and they installed it. When I had to connect to my phone, had problems as it was not recognizing each other. Went back and they helped me set it up. It wasn't easy because the manual only takes you so far and there is no trouble shooting. I've had car audio system installed at this shop before and the install was clean, the price of components was competitive to online retailers. Also, when there were some issues with amps or speakers Car Audio depot took care of the issues. So 10 or so years later I came back. I did my own research and finally decided to pull the trigger and get an audio system installed. I was referred to speak to Jorge Deras (store manager) I told Jorge what it was what I wanted, asked what option I had and asked his professional advice. I further told Jorge what type of music I listen to and more importantly, I wanted the vehicle to look stock as this wasn't a show vehicle. The shop has a demo vehicle and he demo'd it for me. Jorge was upfront in the process. He updated me when parts came in and took pictures of equipment installed behind the doors. (This will be a life saver in future when dealing with insurance companies.). He also reached out during install just to confirm placement of equipment. There was one small glitch in system and I came in and Jorge made sure my issue was addressed. Luckily nothing drastic. I highly recommend Car Audio Depot for your custom Car Audio needs. I bought a Mustang GT Premium Convertible. The OEM Shaker 500 system was removed when I purchased the car. I, along with allot of customers started to do research on custom stereo systems. I started at 2 of the shops near 5 points on McHenry Ave in Modesto Ca. One Audio Dealer tried to sell me their old inventory. I wanted 8" subwoofers in my Shaker Doors. They said they couldn't do it and offered to sell me 6X9's for my Shaker doors. I scratched that location off my list. The next location offered me a reasonable system with their inventory of speakers, subwoofers, custom box, amps and a radio with Netflix app. I was ok with the quote but held off to get another quote some where else. I spoke to my girlfriend about the location she had her custom stereo system installed into her Old School 1972 Chevy. She referred me over to Car Audio Depot. They did an outstanding job with her custom trunk install with an impressive Chevy Logo to display when the trunk is open. I drove my car over to Car Audio Depot and spoke to Sales Associate Andrew and the Store Manager Jorge. I explained to both of them what I wanted installed. Jorge showed me his Alpine inventory and quoted me with a complete Alpine car audio system, That consisted of an Alpine; Radio, back up camera, Speakers, amps, subs, custom box & Sirius XM Radio. Jorge said that his Tech Installers could install 8" subs for my Shaker doors. Andrew showed me the Viper Alarm System suitable for my convertible. I gave it about 2 weeks and decided to go with Car Audio Depot. I ended up paying more than the other quotes I received for several reasons. I was not rushed, they spent the time to explain the details of their products and were very patient and professional. The store show room is very high end and organized well. I set the appointment and went all in with a 3 day custom install. I'm very happy with the install and custom box adding the GT Logo to my Subwoofer Box. This makes my car unique. Came out from Texas to have my brother in law install a system in our peterbilt, great experience over all. Came specifically for Carlos. My only complaint would be the kid Andrew followed us like we were commen thieves and were on our ass the entire time. No sense of personal space and low key made me feel like we were doing something wrong. Did not particularly enjoy being followed or watched like a hawk. We spent a good amount of money here and I dont have any complaints about the work or products, just did not enjoy the overall shopping experience. I was doing some research on who installs ambient lighting in town and they were the only spot I could find. When I called, they had a great attitude and great customer service. They installed my ambient lighting the same day and I couldn't be more happy! That was done at ANOTHER shop previously INCORRECTLY in which myself and my girlfriend were in Vegas for a trip on the car, and our system failed after one hour of driving it and our trip was ruined. I got my ambient lights for optic lighting, and installation done by car audio depot, with remote start, was a bit of miscommunication in the beginning about the price, since they realized I wanted more then the dash, but we're very accommodating. I took my car a 9:30am, and it was ready by 4:30pm, which is great, the lights looks amazing, and I'm going back for under-glow soon, the person who helped me at the front was super friendly and nice, so was the owner. I had a bit of an issue with the remote start since it was only programmed for 1m, contacted them, and they fit me in to make it longer(free of cost), which I thought was nice, definitely recommend them, 10/10, would go again. read more

Let's start off with the people complaining about not getting their money back ... how in the hell do you not see the sign all over the place ? Now to my experience From the start I dealt with Randy and all I was coming in for was 1 set of tower speakers for my boat. After talking to Randy I said screw it let's look at 2 sets of tower speakers, new speakers inside the boat, new amps, LED lights, and a sub. When we left I got home and seen some of the people complaining on yelp so it made me a little iffy. I texted Randy a few questions and he answered me right away even while dealing with a family emergency. That alone showed me the support I was beyond happy with. He introduced me to my installer Shane and I started to bug him before approaching install. Day of install they worked with me to allow me to drop my boat off at his house on his day off. He spent probably hour and half going over everything. He made a few suggestions and answered all my questions and concerns. We ended up making a few changes to add more stuff. He gave me a time like on when everything would be completed and we were on our way. Over the next week he sent me pictures of progress and let me know how far along he was. I know I might of been a little pain texting him at 9-10pm while he has new born baby twins at home and while off hours he's chatting with us. Day of pick up Shane allowed me to pick up the boat after hours at his house again taking time away from his family on a Friday when he told me at pick up that day they had plans with the family. Not going to lie I felt kind of like a $&@$ but I was stuck only being able to pick the boat up that day and he didn't even know it. I didn't even have to ask him to work extra so I could have the boat that day. He went over all adjustments and how to use everything. Again that's something I've never received at any shop. Now onto the system The time he put into my install you can tell he loves what he does. The custom work he did had a lot of pride in it. Everything was done with great quality. We even had a problem with the original sub I got didn't work and he drove to the shop to pick me up a loaner speaker. When he turned my system on the wife and I were beyond satisfied it sounded amazing. It was honestly louder then people that have system twice my size. The music was ear piercing from 150' away! The way he built my custom box was top notch and hidden so we didn't lose our storage. Dropping the boat in the water I had to drive the boat out of our slip so I could finally hear it in action that was the longest ride feeling like a kid not being able to play with his toy. When we got out into the main channel my new deck ended up going into update mode and shut off. I was wondering what the hell just happened and panic texted him at 11pm. I know he probably wanted to slap me at that moment lol but again he took time out to text me back and explain it's normal. We ended up cruising the boat around to charge up the batteries and our friend was insanely shocked at how good it sounded since a lot of people have the same speakers and even more while mine was up there with sound from boats that have double or triple my system. This was probably the best I've felt spending this kind of money and the system hitting my expectations and going above. I would highly recommend this store and their employees. This right here folks was TOP notch service. The other shops I went to knew the inventory is low since the Covid crap and are marking their prices up but not Car Audio Depot they gave me a great deal! I brought my pick up truck here for them to troubleshoot some issues I was having from another installer from a different place. They were able to fix it quickly and only charged me half of what they quoted. I have since had an alarm installed in one other vehicle. My recent visit was a stereo installation in my work van. Had an amplifier and a stereo installed in my truck. Spent quite a bit of money. I was told that I was going to get a custom box but it wasn't. It was a pre-made box and then they only hooked up the front speakers and the sub to the amplifier. They could have ran the back speakers parallel with the front ones and I would have been just fine with that. I can't here the back speakers at all .I have had two systems put in my trucks in the last few years with this place but I will not deal with them anymore. A big thank you to Jorge the sales manager and especially to Edgar the installer. My 2016 Ford Transit had an existing Viper 5706 alarm system with remote start that had been installed by a facility in another state. The viper system never worked correctly despite being back to the original installer multiple times to get it working correctly. I had discussed the issues with Jorge received a quote and Jorge was positive they could correct the issues. 2 weeks later I called and made my appointment. Edgar completely removed the improperly wired system (which looked like a rats nest) putting my Transit back to OEM specs, then proceeded to properly wire in the new system. It took almost 1/2 day longer than anticipated but it was worth the wait. Thank you Jorge for getting my van in as quick as you did. Thank you Edgar for the professional wiring job that you did and your attention to detail, it looks as good as, if not better than a factory installation. We talked about music styles and he for sure had an understanding of what I was looking for. Back in June , They hooked up all the jbl speakers and jvc receiver , and I had the amp pre installed too because I know myself and I was going to want a sub of some sort to go along with it but couldn't afford it just yet, but Brad reassured me when I was ready he would make sure I got a good deal! Now it's February and I was ready for the sub! My system sounded great don't get me wrong but it definitely needed that extra boost! So of course I came back to see Brad and said what can we do I originally was going for the 8 but we quickly decided we should go with the 10. Bought a brand new optima yellow top battery few years back for my accord. They said it was the best battery on the market.. Few weeks later, my car dies after not driving it for couple days, faulty battery. Came back here and turns out they just sell the battery and don't do exchanges or warranty coverage. Well 2 of them were going out and after fighting with the store and having to pay 25 for my blown out speakers that were under warranty the store owner reached out to me and compensated for the workers lack of service. I paid for a product I don't have and they will do nothing to help. Manager won't even get out of his chair to speak to a customer who's visible. Instead texts the employee responses so he doesn't have to get up out of his chair. George, find a new job. These people aren't good enough for you time. Car Audio Depot has worked on every one of my vehicles for the last decade and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. I recently had a deck, door speakers, subwoofer and amp installed in my 2003 G35. These cars are notoriously hard to work with and I was a bit worried being a 17 year old car, but Car Audio Depot did an insanely clean install with no issues whatsoever. Jorge is great and spent lots of time with nailing down the best components for what I was looking for. He was even able to upgrade the amp for me during the install! I brought my car here on the recommendation of Modesto Mazda. The screen on my GPS suddenly went out and had purple and green lines. Mazda said it would be minimum $4,000 to fix it with them and said I should try this place instead. Brad was who I first encountered and he knew immediately that my system needed to be replaced. The price for the brand new system, mount, and labor was immensely lower with this place than what I would have paid at Mazda. He recommended a new system and got my car immediately in to have the work done. I came from Chowchilla so the fact that he got my car diagnosed and worked on the same day was incredible. I waited a few hours and had great conversations with the guys who work there. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, and hard working.
