Audio Outlaws did an awesome job installing my Dash cam I got it hardwired for $185 in total which is a good price compared to other installers on mchenry. I can't remember the name of the person who helped me but they were super nice and didn't try to haggle me into buying more products got finished within an hour and also has a lifetime warranty through them incase the wiring starts acting up. Im definitely gonna bring my wife's car to get another dash cam installed through them!! read more

Jorge ; Lame , No customer service, Will add extra stuff you don't want nor need, will over charge for everything. $900 later for a cheap alarm, stereo & speakers. Hit me up Jorge I called you. read more

Awesome! Fast in and out, low prices..so professional, great team. I'm coming back to have more work done. Much respect

lame and overpriced. I mean overpriced comes with the territory if you're going to go to a shop. no customer service goes the long way. this dude customer service must win a long way from him. I think a lot of people look at me and think I'm not going to buy anything or I don't have any money cuz I'm just looking at everything. but that's how you shop for things I think. so I'm going to take my thousand bucks to a different shop but probably on Amazon. because I just hit a jackpot last night at Chicken ranch casino. I was running to drop a whole new system in. I mean understand that it was definitely going to cost more than $1,000. probably better off saving my money anyway read more

I have had 3 horrible experiences with this business. - Overcharged/Hassled my sweet old mother for a simple backup camera. Went across the street to the other audio place and they were much nicer/fair. - I went in looking for a stereo adaptor, walked in and was not greeted by a single person. They all sat in lawn chairs for about the 5-10 I stood out the counter and never got up to greet/help me. It wasn't that they didn't see me either because they looked directly at me. I walked out and should have never returned. - Third experience is simply that they offer NO REFUNDS. I bought a speaker set that he ensured would fit (it didn't). I tried to return it, and they gave me a rude NO. So now I am stuck with a speaker set that I have no use for. He never mentioned NO REFUNDS when I originally bought it, but did mention that if it didnt fit, I could switch it out. On the receipt, there is a box that says "I agree there are no refunds". He didn't have me check that box either, I just signed for the purchase. All around just shady and rude. Go across the street to Audio Pros. read more

I went in to get a aftermarket apple CarPlay installed which turns out can be very tricky, I asked if they could keep the OEM reverse camera on and despite it being a challenge they managed to get it all done under 4 hours same day even without an appointment. And to top it all off they even gave me a small discount for military service. I would definitely come here again to get any vehicle stereo work done. read more

Fantastic company reason I've been going for years. I seek really had a new radio installed for my wife's Toyota tundra which had a broken CD player and wasn't letting her do anything including Bluetooth or a backup camera. There was a small issue when we dropped it off because they didn't have a record of my appointment but despite being down and installer they made it happen and made my wife's here. Couldn't recommend a better company highly recommend. read more

I had came here 3times 1st time I was shopping for a touch screen double din radio and a dash kit they had told me the install would be $150 but the guy Jorge was tryna get me to buy other extra equipment. and quoted me $500 I didn't like what they had in stock ... so I had went and got my own double din and dash kit from somewhere else . I had came back for the 2nd time to get my double din radio installed and the guy Jorge tells me $200 this time so he added an extra $50 to it so I wanted to just wait Until i got paid . so I came back for the 3rd time a week later to get my double din installed and Jorge says $250 this time made no sense why he keep going up on the price on me and was complete waste my time coming here read more

I had a system installed in my Jeep Wrangler and my entire experience start to finish was excellent. The customer service provided by Jorge was exceptional. He really went above and beyond and is definitely my go to stereo guy from now on. He never got irritated with my phone calls or questions. The install techs are equally as cool and do great work. I highly recommend this shop. read more

I want to give a big shout out to everyone at Car Audio Outlaws. I went in for a new Radio for my 2019 Toyota Tundra, and ended up having to get a new amp also. They made it easy and helped me one that was within my budget. The install looks great and my truck sounds amazing I can't even explain how good it sounds. So if you need speakers, an amp or even an entire system I strongly recommend Car Audio Outlaws read more

This place is super unprofessional to say the least. I took my car in the morning I was told it be a few hours. I called to see if my car was ready and no answer. I then drove to the location to see if my car was ready it was 9pm and they haven't even started on it. It looked more like a bunch of junkies working out of a garage then a professional business. Save yourself the headache and take your car to one of the shops across the street. I've gotten work done here before when they were under different management and it was great but now this place is trash I don't recommend it to anyone read more

Audio Outlaws in Modesto are the guys to go too! Took my single cab Silverado in for a sound system and alarm. George and his crew do a great job. Bought A nice pioneer double Din, and Viper GPS system a few weeks back, had a few issues with the set up, and the system, but the customer service is so helpfull, and wanted to make sure it ended up being right. I understand there can be mix ups, or a bad wire, but these guys took great care of me, and my car.... I will be back, and will recommend this to any of my friends... Just wish they were in a better location, with more parking... lol.. And FYI, the guys across the street I went to first and treated me like I was nothing, and didnt want to work with me, dont even bother with them..... I went to many locations for car audio, I some what have OCD when it comes to my sports car. Dont waste your time, these guys are great! read more

The guys @ Car Audio Outlaws just crush it. AND they rock. Why? I went in to have Bluetooth hooked up to my new baby. After I picked out a system, they talked to me & suggested another system that would totally cover my minimal needs. This is all well & good, but get this; it was CHEAPER than the system I had picked. Yeah... They didn't up sell, instead they actually customized to me. Who DOES that? They were quick & cool, & all for the nice price. Love. Forward about 6 months. My handbag & iPhone get stolen. Yeah...some crack hoe b**** stole my bag. Yes, it TOTALLY sucked. I get a new phone, & naturally it needs to be connected to my system. Back to Audio Outlaws I go. They did it for free. FREE. Now, maybe they always connect a new phone to a system they sold & installed for free, I dunno. But that doesn't matter. It's not the point. The point is the supreme customer service I received, once again. Love. Audio Outlaws is just THE best. Six stars. read more

Left this place very disappointed. I will never return. Cashier offered to give me a discount next time REALLY??? Hello!!! Give me a discount, while I'm still in your store. Never again. Update The reason I was there was to reinstall the stock radio, which they had removed originally. The worker told us it would be about an hour and that they would call us when the car was ready, so my husband n I walked down the street to have breakfast. When we returned the car was ready. They didn't even bother to call us. They told us that they couldn't instal the stock radio bc, when they tried there was no audio coming from the speakers. Ok that was a bummer to hear but not only were they not able to complete the job, but we had to pay FULL PRICE for the job. That's when I asked for the price to be lowered and he said he couldn't but if I came in the future I could get a discount. ‍ When I went home I noticed that I had some lights on my dashboard on that were not on before. Seriously?? I called and spoked to either the owner or manger. Really nice guy. A few days later I came in and he personally helped me. The light on the dashboard were fixed. Even tho the second guy was very helpful, I won't be returning. I feel I shouldn't have been responsible to pay for a job that I never received. If I would have received a half charge I probably would have been ok with it. read more

Very unprofessional staff. I had an appointment with them for a dash cam installation at 9am. I literally took my keys and my camera at 3pm because my vehicle had not been touched. I literally sat inside of that business for 6 hours. I am a returning customer. I have done business with them several times in the past. I felt like 6 hours waiting patiently, was more than enough time for them to accommodate my 9 am appointment. They have completely lost my business in the future and the business of anyone else that I speak to. Shame on you!! read more

What can I say, you know any other car audio shops with 4.5 stars that have over 60 reviews?!?! Me either! My dude Paul is a professional! Shoots it to you straight, no bullshit, no games. Was the best place in town when the owner Paul was there at the shop . Now I belive he's just a co owner and never there . Wiring and installation was great but had a bad wire and I pointed out something was off. They said it was the Amp but it wasn't they didn't test anything and let me leave there shop with a bad wire. Had to go to another shop to find out what was wrong which took them 15mins and temporary fixed it till I took it back . Went back they got it fixed after a little debating the issue . But don't like how they have people on commission for installs that rush to get the most money and not check there work . Will find another shop for other work needed . Sucks that this place was great before. read more

I stopped by to get some work done on my vehicle and the sign said they were open at 9am. I was there around 9:30 and it was closed. Very disappointed. No signs of why they weren't open either read more

Bought a system years ago and they over charged me $100. The guy gave me the option to apply that to a future service, or to come pick it up. I was away for college so I had no ability to come pick it up so I said I would apply it to future services. After dealing with the customer service that they provided (very rude, undermining, unprofessional) I decided I didn't want to do any further business with them due to the actions of this specific owner. I called later (maybe a month) when I was in town to pick up the money the owner said yeah that's fine. I called again because he needed to set up an appointment to do so and he YELLED at me saying "What's your problem, you really need this money don't you?" Sorry I didn't know MY money that THEY overcharged me had any of his business or concern for what I needed it for? He definitely didn't have this attitude when he was trying to get us to spend over $1000 on a stereo system but whatever. Fast forward to today, my stereo won't turn on and my backup camera hasn't been working for months. We finally go in to service it because it has "lifetime warranty" and made an appt for 10am it's now 11:54 and they still haven't pulled our car back. They finally call to say they fixed our deck but the backup camera is completely ruined and they want to charge $150 for a new one with installation after saying it had lifetime warranty on all of the things we were purchasing at the time of purchase. I wasn't planning on leaving a review but after the service we continue to receive after being put on hold and spending money at this place I'm fed up. I would really look into the type of service that you will be receiving at this place for anyone looking to purchase! read more

He even took the time to show me how to program and use the car play. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for doing a great job! read more
