I had a really meaningful experience with Terry at the Comcast store at The Veranda in Concord, CA. I came in after my dad had just passed away to cancel his account and set up a new plan for myself. Terry was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and he showed genuine compassion when I explained the situation. That kind of understanding during a difficult time meant a lot more than I can properly put into words. He did mention a few additional deals that were actually very good, but what stood out was that he wasn't pushy at all. He respected the situation I was in and focused on helping me get exactly what I needed without any pressure. In the end, he set me up with the best plan tailored to me and my family. His professionalism, kindness, and patience made a hard day a little easier to get through. Terry truly went above and beyond and deserves a raise and a promotion. Poor commuinications and extremely rude for asking billing mistake, unwilling to solve the issues and tell us we should cancel the service. They kept increasing my bill every year until I was paying $75 for internet and $44 for my mobile line, so I decided to switch providers. That's when all the problems started. An Xfinity agent closed my phone line before my transfer was completed, leaving me without service and unable to get my transfer PIN. I've spent hours on calls, chats, and even visited two stores and made a virtual call, but I still don't have my PIN. I use my number in everywhere and now I am in a big trouble! They simply don't have a right to do this!! I want my number back! To make matters worse, they charged me another $44 for July-August cycle even though I canceled my mobile service in June. I signed up with Xfinity on the senior program. They have been missing up from the beginning. I asked for a supervisor by phone ( on the 800 number) and they always say " there is none available. I do believe that they are working from home because most in office businesses have a supervisor. They charged me from the beginning charges for services and my system had not been setup yet. Then they gave a $3.00 deduction. Then on the the next billing statement, they charged me $8.19. I asked them if I had been credited back money for my system not even being setup yet then how do I now owe $8.19. The communication is terrible, lack of understanding what I am saying, very unknowledgeable individuals. Now their saying that I owe $22.71, my monthly cost is $14.95 for seniors. My service was not setup at all until June e, 2026, and their charging me for May 2026. They had to come out and do some rewiring which was not of any cost to me. Today is 8/4/26, and I just called them and stayed on the phone for awhile before being connected to someone. Then when I was connected to someone it sounded like they were under water. I asked the individual for a supervisor but I couldn't hear what he was saying so I asked him to call me back at the number on the phone and he has not called me yet. Another excellent experience at this Xfinity store! I was so impressed with the service the other day and my new iPhone 17 Pro Max, my husband wanted to exchange his for the Pro Max too. When we walked in we were greeted right away, and this time we were helped by Terry! I explained what we came to do and he got right to business. Terry was very friendly, professional and personable, no sales person vibe at all! The entire process was again smooth and drama free. Xfinity is the absolute worst. Do ALL you can to do your mobile and internet business elsewhere; it's simply not worth it. The level of incompetence, even from managers in-store (Bianca) is infuriating. Between in-store visits, and over the phone reps, Xfinity wasted 3 weeks and over 18 hours of my life, putting my employment at risk by not be able to get my internet not working, AND completely disrupting my ability to communicate by losing/disconnecting my phone number (that Ive had for 15years and is tied to EVERYTHING) only to give me a "temporary" random # from VA (I live in CA) because they couldn't get my number back, but then to not be able to recover my original number at all (which never should have been "lost" on the first place. And it was the MANAGER Bianca who deleted it from my phone.) In this day 'n age, if your internet AND phone are not working, it completely disrupts your life. Full stop. And mind you, none of this was my doing. All i wanted was to start a new account. Should be the easiest thing in the world. 3 weeks later they couldn't solve any of the problems they created. There's a reason Xfinity ranks last for customer service. Its appalling. If you tech "works", sure, everything seems fine. This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. I contacted Xfinity for one simple reason: to view and understand my bill. What should have taken a few minutes ended up taking over one hour, and I still didn't get a clear answer. During that hour, I was repeatedly pushed to activate a mobile device and asked to provide an IMEI number. I clearly said NO at least five times. I did not want any new mobile line or device activated. Despite this, the agent kept pushing activation as if it was required just to see my bill, which is completely unreasonable. I was also offered "faster internet for $0," which I do not trust at all. I have been misled by Xfinity promotions in the past that later showed up on my bill, so I had no confidence that this offer was legitimate. Instead of transparency, it felt like another upsell attempt. I was told I had multiple accounts at the same address that needed to be merged, but this was poorly explained and only added more confusion. My original request was never properly addressed. The entire interaction felt scripted, disorganized, and focused more on selling services than actually helping. Customers should not have to repeat themselves or feel pressured just to access basic billing information. Absolutely terrible customer service. We went in person to the store to try to change our plan since the rate for WiFi increased from $70 to $130 after our one year contract. The rep who helped us was completely useless. He was constantly trying to deceive us to get us to not downgrade our plan for the cheaper option. Acting like we were stupid and couldn't do simple math. This man was outright lying to us saying switching to slower speeds would actually increase our bill. Then, he had the audacity to pretend to suddenly find a way for us to save money. And this way was to buy two Apple Watches from them to get free service on the watches. You got to be kidding me. Xfinity recently installed a virtual assistant keyosk for customer support but it is basically a kind of self service in the store with minimal help from the staff. You can't expect there will be a real exepet to help you. Instead you should use tiny screen with headsets and webcam to talk with a guy in the screen and operate your device following the instructions. It is very disappointing move, Xfinity!! read more

Terrible phone customer service. Trying to port a number to xfinity mobile. Started by getting stuck in the phone tree for 30 minutes listening to "You're call is important to us - please stay on the line". Dialed in on a second phone and got through to an agent in a couple of minutes. Then, the first representative put me on hold while she tried to solve the problem - ended up back in the main queue. Second rep said he would put us back in contact with the first rep - this did happen and we ended up in the main queue. Third rep said it was not possible to be put in contact with the first rep who helped us and proceeded to gather all the same information. After over an hour with rep 3, we got disconnected. No call back - even thought I explicitly requested a callback in the event of a disconnect. read more

I have had to call tech support twice for this service. The problem is the app to watch Xfinity wirelessly on your TV is about four percent crap. The app works 96% of the time but it needs more work. I am customer service oriented and have a few decades of tech support under my robust belt so I am opinionated. The first time I called, I spent an hour plus speaking with a neophite who was totally over his head. I finally reinstalled the app on my own advice and that fixed the problem for a few years. Lately I have been forced to reinstall the Xfinity app daily on the boob tube to get it to work. Spent 30 minutes on hold and was transferred to the wrong department. Another 30 minutes on hold and the young lady in the Philippines told me she will call me back when she has a live support person to help me. No call back. I will reinstall the app daily. read more

This location has some weird vibes in there. For some reason they had Fox News on the tv really loud. I was waiting for my mom because she was being helped by an Xfinity employee so I decided to sit down in front of the TV. I changed it to MSNBC just because I don't watch Fox News and they had the remote easily accessible to customers on a little table in the middle of the chairs. As soon as I did, this white lady employee walked up to me and took the remote and said it was too loud. I agreed because I didn't even touch the volume and I didn't realize I could change the volume on it. Just left not too long ago. I had to come in because my moms bf told me that the union city Xfinity was giving him issues. My mother had passed away and I uploaded her death certificate online along with other paperwork last month on the 18th. In the email they said if they needed anything else they would send me another email so I thought everything was good. When I came in the man at the front welcomed me in and was nice. He took my name and said someone would be with me shortly. I didn't wait that long. A gentleman with his first name with a D (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) tall guy with a beard. He was helpful I had to show my mothers death certificate to close out her account. He told me to let her boyfriend know to bring in the boxes and everything they are using- he said he shouldn't of had issues returning the items in. That they would of taken the items and just given him the receipt for returned items. I told him I uploaded the information online and showed the email confirmation. He told me that they don't accept it like that because people can do forgery. Which I get it- so I brought in my mothers death certificate. He told me people open cable in their kids names etc (WOW) so I get why they needed it in person. I showed him my ID and the death certificate. He let me know to tell my moms boyfriend to take pictures of the serial numbers- & keep the receipt! He said to let him know if they have issues again! They live in Hayward so they went to the union city Xfinity. The man verified the death certificate and My ID. I left the review here because he said they would give me a survey but I'm not sure how they would do that because they don't have my information. So I'm leaving a review for his excellent customer service and for explaining the confusion. I told him I uploaded the documents on the website and he said that they don't do that? Which is weird because I uploaded them and even had an email. Either way it's done now and my mothers account is closed and her bf can leave me alone about this now. Thank you for your help!
