    I have AT&T fiber in the middle of Sacramento and is constantly going out for short periods. It was…read moreout for more than a day on two separate occasions. Phone support insisted that it was just me, but when I got to the hour mark of the call, they suddenly realized it was a network outage. I have been an AT&T customer for years, and this is typical of their customer support. An AT&T tech even joked with me that they are a communications company, but they have horrible internal communications within the company. Profits over performance. Their apps don't work consistently. I stopped being able to login to the "Smart" Home app, which they require for appointment updates, not to mention troubleshooting your own internet. I call in every couple of months to try to resolve it, but their limited scripted troubleshooting, basically consisting or changing the password never works.

    This is the worse service ever. Don't ever use auto pay. They have been over charging me and taking…read moremoney out of my accout a couple times a month. 3 this month making a total over $800 just this month. Last month they took out $790. I only have 2 lines. I spent 4 hours on the phone trying to get it resolved and it still not fix. I will never refer somebody to this company. It's the worst. They have so much fraud by there own employees. They cant even keep our information from getting hacked. I highly recommend Verizon, t-mobile, cricket, even metro pcs, any other company besides this one.

    ~Throwback Thursday Review back to the 2012 - 2013 era ~…read more When I lived in the Citrus Heights area, they rolled out IPTV along the Auburn Blvd Corridor around 2012 - 2013 , it was one of the best experiences ever. I had no drop outs or lapse in TV services whatsoever. The only thing that drove me batty at the time was when the set top boxes would shut off after a certain amount of hours of inactivity. But they had channels on their service that other provides did not. FYI- At the time, they were Surewest before the name Consolidated and before it was Roseville Telephone company. Comcast previously was the only TV provider at the time that offered high speed internet except in the case of Surewest which had DSL at the time. It was great to switch then in the area. Enjoyed the service for many months before I moved. Wonder if the staff from the old Surewest are still with the company in Roseville? I cannot speak for today but There was a good thing happening back in the day and hopefully it continues.

Well at least for a regular landline but now I'll be getting a straight talk smart box or a community phone instead. I have called several times over the past 4 months and I always get the same run around. "We have to build that location in our system first" was what they told me at first. Then they told ME to call back in a couple days. I've dealt with bad customer service before but if a company is telling you to call back to check if they can help you, the customer service is non-existent. I called back when they told me to and it still wasn't done. I called again a couple weeks later and still no. Then I called back again a month later and I thought I was actually getting help from a guy named Scott. He apologized and it shouldn't take long and what they told me before was wrong and it's going to get done now. He put in a ticket and gave me a job number and told me he would call me back the next day! But no. No call back, and so I called again today. The person on the phone just kept I interrupting me with THE WRONG address because she didnt want to wait. She kept asking for my account number throughout the call and I told her I don't have an account! Thats why I'm calling! She was asking me like I had one but I didn't want to tell her. If I had an account I would give you the number, trust me. I offered the job number but she said she didn't need it. She then said the same thing I heard before it's not available in their system yet. Then she asked me for a nearby address? I just told her the address to the building why tf doesn't she Google it? Oh that's right there's no actual customer service here. After I could tell I was getting no where I politely explained that this company is ridiculous, and I won't be calling back. The worst part? It's not my frustration, it's not that this company continues to exist even though I'm not quite sure what their purpose is. The worst part is I can't communicate with my dad, who lives in memory care and can't remember how to charge his cellphone. This company's lack of service is preventing me from communicating with my loved one. So it's between the talk box or community phone right now. Consolidated communications? I'm not sure what they consolidated but they aren't capable of helping me communicate which, I don't know seems like should be a priority for a communication company. They kept telling me I have to have their phone service if I want voice over IP. I explained to them I don't need VOIP from them, all I need is their signal from their router. I pay for 300mbs so I don't think a phone signal is going to strain my service. Ask to be forwarded to someone who understands IP/VOIP. The next person tells me the same fiction. Now I'm thinking maybe they have configured their router so I can't get a separate signal from their router and am therefore forced to pay them $25 a month for their VOIP rather than pay VONAGE $10 per month for theirs. Talked to Customer Service and they told me the same thing.

They promised great things with their fiber, and we decided to switch. It has been barely two months and we came back from vacation to failed equipment. We contacted them on friday 6/19 and they said they could have a technician out to us on 6/24 - 5 DAYS??! They said they would escalate the ticket and have a technician contact us ASAP. Next morning, nothing. Called them again in the afternoon - Same spiel, they say they're escalating. I called AGAIN when we hadn't heard anything all day. Because of the time (close to 5pm), they said the earliest a technician could come out was the next day. We went all of Sunday with still no word from a technician. We work from home, our television and home systems all run on WiFi. It is now close to 5pm on Monday 6/22, and we still have not heard from anyone despite FOUR "escalations" in the last 3 days. I believe these "escalations" are fake. I have currently been waiting in a queue to chat with an again for about 30 minutes. I'm afraid that if I call them again, I will cuss someone out, and I don't want to be that person. We had to pay to work at a coworking space today, and at this point, will have to do the same tomorrow. DO NOT give your money to a company that will leave you stranded for DAYS without internet in a WFH era. Completely unacceptable.
