I decided to upgrade our sound system to Sonos System. I contacted Mark at Livewire whom we have used for all our electronics. He made some suggestions and once I received the Sonos equipment, he promptly arrived and did the install. Mark was on time, thorough and worked clean. I will not use anybody else to work on my home. Mark really knows his stuff and is always a pleasure to work with. His prices are very reasonable and he is dependable. Thanks Mark. read more

Mark Seibles at Live Wire Installations is truly exceptional. He transformed the internet in my U-shaped house into a seamless, single system--eliminating dead spots and significantly strengthening the signal throughout. He also streamlined our TV setup with a single, easy-to-use remote and repaired a broken backyard speaker system we thought might be a lost cause. From start to finish, Mark was professional, prompt, and clear in his communication. He provided a detailed and fair quote and stuck with the project relentlessly--even going above and beyond the original scope to improve every aspect of our home's electronics and connectivity. Mark is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but also trustworthy and reliable. I won't be calling anyone else for electronics, speakers, or internet upgrades--Mark is my go-to from now on. Highly recommend! read more

Contacted Mark for hanging two TVs and working speakers. One TV mounted on brick, and outdoor speakers. Mark came over to help me scope the project and work through the challenges and he came up with a great plan. Super knowledgeable about each component and went the extra mile to clean up my cords, and setup reciever settings. Highly recommend Live Wire. Quality work! read more

I had Mark of Live Wire install a Sonos System for my patio and he did a phenomenal job. I was having a problem with my home cameras and called Mark to have him check the system. He answered immediately and was able to come out and diagnose the problem as a power issue and was fixed within minutes. Mark is courteous, conscientious and a pleasure to do business with. I am converting my in home system to Sonos and will be contacting him to help me with that as well. As you can tell by his reviews he is technically sound and really knows his stuff. I have never had any issue getting in touch with Mark. He has always either answered immediately or calls back in a timely manner. You will not be disappointed with his service, he is the consummate professional! Thank You Mark. read more

Mark is a consummate professional and 52 "5-star" reviews says everything you need to know about his technical expertise! I wanted a top-quality OTA antenna installed with coax run to three SmartTV's in our house. I could tell immediately that Mark was the guy to do it right! What care and attention to detail! Our 47-year-old home required exterior wiring to get to all the needed locations but Mark made short work of that. Additionally, he fully tested the signal strength at each location to ensure our complete satisfaction with the reception. What can I say? Mark is a "Maestro" and well worth his affordable fee. If you're looking for a true PRO to tackle your job, you've found him! A++ read more

Guess what? There are lots of high definition television stations still broadcasting in Sacramento! All you need is a good antenna. Ditch those flimsy and weak indoor antennas and have Mark with Live Wire Installations put a real one on your house. He also does all sorts of audio and visual installations for all home theatre needs. My installation was able to use a preexisting satellite dish to mount a large antenna hidden from the street. The wiring was hidden behind the television including an HDMI cable for a seamless look. I now have over 50 channels with all the networks in clear HD without the hassles and pixelation of streaming. The picture is better than cable! It's also a wonderful backup when the internet is down. Mark did a great job and responded fast. My new antenna is perfect and highly recommended. read more

I received a recommendation to try Live Wire Installations on my local Nextdoor group. I called the number and left a detailed message about my need and my info. In their message was a promise to call within one hour. Well, it's been over a week! So, perhaps their work is great, but a critical part is up-front communication. Not calling a prospective customer back, is just not good service. Even if the job or location was not in their plan, at least they should call back. Update: appreciate the quick reply to my review. Sounds like a problem with the phone message service. But, there's no reason to think that email is better than a published phone number. 4 stars for quick response to this review. The "hint" to use email was a bit strange though after leaving a voice message. read more

We had a need for one ethernet drop from our office to our living room. Mark gave a fair price and did a great job and helped me test the speed and provided a better switch than what I had on hand. He also offered to move our cable management panel at no extra charge making our previous mess look much cleaner, he didn't have to do that and he offered anyway. Great guy, will have him back for future needs! read more

Mark came out super fast to remove an old rusted antenna from my roof for me. He was fast, on time, and did good work at a reasonable price. He was friendly and super responsive to my special requests. If I ever need work done in the future that he handles, I'll be sure to contact Mark again. Thank you so much! read more

Mark has done several home theater projects for us and has done excellent work each time. Today we had a problem with one of our devices. I'm not at all tech savvy, so I contacted Mark to see if he could come fix it. Instead he walked me through how to fix it myself through an exchange of text messages tonight, even though he was off duty. And eureka, it worked. Mark is not only superb in his work, he is also very patient with old guys like me who know nothing about home theater. You will be very glad you hired him. He is simply the best. read more

Mark is a great guy. He was on time and his price was fair. He did a real professional job working with me to get my Dolby Atmos system installed. I highly recommend. read more

Livewire helped us add coaxial cable in the attic - so we didn't have to hang wires on the outside of the house - and helped us get our cable/internet operating properly. Mark answered my calls and questions promptly and he was very professional, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. He even spoke via phone to our cable installer to help troubleshoot an issue during installation. I absolutely recommend this company for anyone with home or business AV needs. read more

Well my review is very consistent with this company and Mark. Im sure if he shows up he does a good job. Unfortunately we had a 7:15 appointment, it was a same day appointment, but I was off from work and he agreed to meet at 7:15. Around 7:20 I text him to see if he needed directions, he replied that "Im still at my son's practice. Gonna have to do it within regular hours" I said I understand but why no call. He claim's he didn't bring his schedule. I responded you called from your cell. You had my number. When I said I was going to post this on yelp, his reply was "I made about 30 calls today, but do what you want". Absolutely no remorse for wasting our time and did not care what the Yelp community can provide for good service or warn people about wasting our time. read more

After getting several ridiculous quotes to have my home wired for cable/internet from various electricians, I was lucky to find Mark though yelp. Mark arrived on time and worked diligently. He is very knowledgeable and professional as well. He gave me a good price and even mounted my TV for me. Mark did exactly what I asked for and he did it very clean. Mark mounted my TV and placed the outlets behind the TV and the wires inside the wall as a I requested. I'm very grateful for Mark's services and will definitely be using him in the future for any electrical work. Hire him! read more

I hired Mark to install a complete surround sound system including TV, receiver, speakers with Apple TV, cable, wifi internet and DVD player He was polite, explained what he was doing and updated all my firmware on all devices as he completed the install. He was able to eliminate the need to use multiple remotes and I can control everything from only 2 remotes versus the 5 I used to have to use. The system looks and sounds excellent! Mark even changed a burned out light bulb for me near the top of a vaulted ceiling using his ladder he had for installing the surround speakers. What gives Live Wire a 5+ rating was that I messed up the system a few weeks after installation. I called Mark, he stopped back and fixed my problem "AT NO CHARGE" I was so impressed with this! Mark could have easily charges me for a service call but just said no charge and shook my hand. I highly recommend Live Wire for any electronic installations! read more

Mark mounted a TV/cable box on the brick wall over my fireplace. Very clean installation, with no visible wires. They were very thorough and clean with the installation. I'd highly recommend them! read more

Mark totally helped me out today. I was having an issue with splitting HDTV signal and he gave me some suggestions that totally worked. From a $30 antenna I bought at Home Depot I'm getting a hundred and thirteen channels now including the entire lineup from San Francisco. read more

Mark installed an HD antenna which enabled me to end my satellite payments. After an initial install he returned to tweak it and it is now 100% where I want it. Saved $1,200 per year by investing a small amount to achieve this. Mark is punctual, honest and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him. read more

Last month the wife and I got fed up with spotty WiFi throughout our house. Because of the home's layout, and the thick Spanish tile roof there were dead spots and weak signals all around the house. Mark came in, assessed the situation and installed a new system that is absolutely perfect. Signal strength and speed are prime throughout my house. Today he took a 60 inch LCD TV and wall mounted it in a tricky space, with the sound bar attached and the cable box neatly hidden. Furthermore, he installed a power outlet behind the unit so no cables! A totally clean installation. Mark is skilled, prompt, professional, and courteous to a fault. I give him my highest recommendation. read more

I needed an antenna hooked back up and wiring issues resolved due to many changes made in the past. I called Live Wire and Mark happened to be nearby and came the same day. He arrived on time and identified several wiring problems causing my poor reception. He was great with explaining what needed to be done and was thorough with making sure all of my TV's were hooked up and receiving all of the channels. I am so thrilled to have everything up and running again and am very pleased with Mark's work. read more

Mark was one of the most gracious service guys I've ever met. When I first spoke with him for a bid, he fit us in between appointments and was at our home in 30 minutes. He explained everything, gave the bid and we hired him on the spot to do the install in one week. Fast fwd one week,, he was right on time (although I did have to call to verify arrival time). He measured the wall, made sure he was centering tv the way we wanted and went at it. All the wall cutting was a bit scary but it came out beautifully and is so clean and tidy, cable box hidden, sound bar nicely hung underneath tv. I regretted buying a TV this large, couldn't find furniture large enough to hold it, but now it looks great and I have alot of options! Great job Mark! read more

Mark installed a security camera system for my home on the outside. He did a fantastic job. Would I call Mark again? Absolutely! Mark installed a new 65" Samsung TV for me this afternoon. He removed the old 54 inch TV and put the new one in its place. He also set up WIFI in our guesthouse and solved some other problems that have been perplexing me. He called first saying he would be early. No problem! He is a very personable young man with excellent skills. I certainly would use his services again and I highly recommend him. I liked him so much I gave him some of our fresh-smoked homemade Andoullie sausage since his wife is from New Orleans. read more

I have nothing but great things to say! Mark from Live Wire was immediately responsive, friendly, and very professional. He installed a new 65" TV on the wall along with sound bar while running all cables in wall and relocating our modem and router to a central closet. All for at a very reasonable price. He even ordered an extra part when he realized the optical cable from the sound bar was showing due to the angle leaving the sound bar. He returned and installed part when he said he would and everything is working perfectly. We had multiple issues with other services returning calls and I would definitely use Mark again when needs arise. read more

Finally cut the cord! After calling a Next Door recommended local company for a simple antenna install along with connecting two TV's and was told their first available appointment was in December (?) - I turned to Live Wire and spoke with Mark. He answered his phone right away and scheduled an install within 3 days. He showed up on time, was extremely professional and amiable; it was clear to us we made an excellent decision. Didn't try to up-sell or critique our antenna purchase (many companies want to sell you their own equipment). He gave us some great tips and completed the job to our satisfaction. We stand behind recommending him for any electronic needs. read more

I have called Live Wire twice for two different internet/wiring problems I was having, once last year and once recently. Both times I thought I knew what the problem was, and both times Mark correctly diagnosed the problem as something else. He is 2 for 2 in fixing problems that neither Comcast nor others that I had engaged to investigate the problems could figure out. Can't say enough about Live Wire and the outstanding work they do at very reasonable prices. Mark is just really, really good at what he does, and each time has been very accommodating to address my problem in a timely manner. He is responsive, shows up on time, and gets the job done correctly. Highly recommended. read more

We are writing this review to share with other our experience with Mark/Live Wire Installation. He was absolutely great, he goes above and beyond and pays extremely close attention to detail. We had a difficult and complex AV job for him mounting dual outdoor TV's and speakers all while hiding the electrical and wires. There were some challenges with the equipment but he quickly and accurately provided solutions! Our standards were very high wanting someone that is meticulous and professional. We also appreciated the fact that he was always on time and was quick about responding to text messages. He was very accommodating to our schedule and was incredibly patient and with all our questions and requests. He reprogrammed and showed us how to properly use our Harmony remote and fixed our indoor speakers to work properly at no additional charge. We HIGHLY recommend Mark for a high quality, professional installation! read more

Did a great job installing residential ethernet! There are a lot fewer visible wires running around the house now. Some cables that previously ran around the room were run behind the wall instead, other cables and an old satellite dish that were no longer used were removed to reduce clutter. Mark installed a surveillance system at my brother-in-law's house and did a great job! My brother-in-law had a stroke and it takes him a little extra time to explain himself. He and his associate offered excellent suggestions and worked hard to create a useful and easily usable system, with the Swan IP system. I needed to have live wire drop a coax into a wall from the attic. I'm glad I called them. They were fantastic. Joe and Mark were extremely polite and knowledgeable about what they were doing. After they finished, the job looked as professional as I could ask for. In addition they did a fantastic job cleaning up. Special thanks to Joe who had an incredibly positive attitude in a hot, summertime attic. If I need anything like this in the future I will not even bother looking for another company. read more

First off, let me say that Mark is one of the best home theater installation guy's around. His work was extremely professional and he was very knowledgeable. Mark did a 7.1 surround, in-ceiling speaker set up for me which was fairly complicated considering my vaulted ceiling, and the ceiling "lip" that the wiring needed to go down. Mark was able to install everything expertly without any issues. He also charges a very fair rate in comparison to other quotes I got for the same work. Mark also returned to my house a few times to make sure everything was working as it should. I strongly recommend to give Mark a call for any of your home theater needs. read more
