The best philly cheesesteak isn't in philly but located at a food truck on Tigard, Oregon. I got the wow cheesesteak and it really does wow you! Great blend of korean flavored beef, melt cheese with kimchi, I approve this korean fusion take on american philly. Food came out fast and staff was super kind, one of the kindest staff I've seen. The whole place is super cute with a small cow truck.
A very nice food truck park is forming in downtown Tigard and Wow Cow is part of it! I loved their cheese burger. The marinated patty gives a whole different flavor. And the best part is that it isn't spicy at all!! I asked for the sauces on the side, which the team promptly made it happen! I loved the location outdoors with nice and clean tables, great for the spring afternoon I visited the place!
Kalbee Burger - good amount of beef - 1/2 lb for $13.50 is reasonable - enjoyed the tempura flakes in the beef patty, added some nice texture - buns were nicely toasted and it was overall a solid burger Sliders were nothing to write home about Fries were nice and crispy, basically McDonald's style. I like how they were garnished and had just the right level of saltiness. Garlic aioli and their wow sauce were amazing. The garlic aioli was my absolute favorite and went so well with the burger and fries. I'd come back to try their cheese steak and would get extra garlic aioli sauce.
Food: Korean Philly (3/5) Super soft bread with tender, thick-cut beef, gooey cheese, and tasty onions. Overall good, especially for what it is. I asked the staff for recommendations, and this was what they suggested. While I enjoyed it, I realized I'm more of a burger person. Kalbee Burger (4/5) (my wife's order) I actually liked this more. You can definitely taste the bulgogi-style sauce in the patty. The little crunchy tempura flakes added a great texture and flavor. Fries (3/5) Seemed like they already had salt and basil on them. The staff let me try a variety of sauces, which was a nice touch. I'm partial to the garlic aioli, but I do love garlic. Service (4/5): Friendly and accommodating. They were helpful with recommendations and generous with letting us try different sauces. Ambiance: Food cart setup near a field with plenty of outdoor shaded seating. Casual and easygoing, good for just hanging out and eating. Note: They've started giving out loyalty stamp cards and even tiny cow figurines, which are actually really cute.
Their Korean Philly cheesesteak is incredibly good, packed with so much flavor and perfectly melted cheese. On top of the amazing food, the staff there are so nice and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It is located in a really great, open plaza area, so it's the perfect spot to just chill, relax, and eat.
You gotta come visit Wow Cow. The owner Jay has such a beautiful energy. Try the wow cheese steak! They also have vegetarian options. They have popsicles and corn hole. They even gave us little baby cow trinkets and stickers. Come check it out! There is a walking trail, a fountain for kids and a bathroom available.
Love the food... a bit pricey for lunch for two of us though. That doesn't stop us from coming back.
Kalbi Burger A standout! Toasted brioche bun, crisp butter lettuce, spicy mayo, red onion, and pickles all came together perfectly. The flavor really nailed that kalbi taste -- juicy, well-balanced, and full of that smoky-sweet Korean BBQ note. Fries Golden, crispy, and nicely seasoned. The truffle and basil flavors could've been stronger, but still delicious overall with a great crunch. Staff were super friendly and patient with everyone! Definitely check this place out!
The area is quite nice. I'd imagine even better when it is warmer but the space is fantastic. It's a park, summer time farmers market, and trails running through it. The people at WOW cow is super friendly and explained and menu to me. Nice. The Philly they had was great, juicy and flavorful. The sliders were a bit dry, bring shredded meat. The fries were great. Overall great!
Their name says it all, Wow Cow deals out some fantastic meat sandwiches. I got an opportunity to enjoy Wow Cow as apart of a Yelp Elite event and was so glad that WC was brought into my life. I had the kalibee burger. It was perfectly cooked, the lettuce & pickles were a great addition, and the Korean sauce took it over the top. At a lot of places the fries can be an afterthought...but not at Wow Cow. The fries at WC are crispy with truffle oil and basil on them. Just majestic fries. This small food truck packs a lot of flavor. The staff was very friendly and the park where the truck is located is a great spot for an outdoor lunch. Go check out Wow Cow NOW.

Some solid food from this food cart in Tigard. We had the Korean Philly, basil Truffle fries, and bop bowl. The Philly was good as it had a bulgogi beef as the base of the sandwich. The Truffle fries were great and the bop bowl was good.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect, as I'd never even had a cheese steak before, but I was blown away! At risk of sounding dramatic, I have thought about this food many times since having it, and been sad that I wasn't closer to go get some. The guys working were friendly and helpful, the food was incredible, the park where they are located was a lovely spot to eat in the evening. Honestly, it truly lives up to the name: " WOW". I tried both the Kowboy and the Korean cheesesteak (because I couldn't choose) and both were absolutely phenomenal
Good... not great. It was flavorful and fresh... but for a burger hyped as Korean... there was barely a hint beyond an average burger and nothing close to kalbi. It's definitely one of those burgers that lost its way in fusion territory. Maybe some green onions and a kalbi sauce spread instead of marinating because the marinade didn't take. On hindsight, there onions were a light brownish... maybe those were sautéed in sauce as they were the best part of the burger. Either way, it was solid. I'll be back to try the Philly... or something with Kimchi on it at least. The fries saved the 4th star. I didn't get the truffle oil but I got the salt and basil and that was more than enough! Hot and fresh out of the fryer...they were amazing! I'm not a fan of truffle but they can be made without if you request! Definitely getting these again! read more
Updated: to clarify, I ate this the week before Burger week and though I said take out, it was a 5min drive and ate it right away. My friend ordered take out for us. I got their kalbi burger and I could really taste the Korean flavors as it had a mixture of sweet and savory. It was a bit sweeter than I expected. The burger tasted alright but for me, nothing outstanding. We also ordered the basil truffle fries. The texture was alright but I wish it had more truffle flavor. I couldn't really taste it nor the basil. The chicken nuggets were okay, typical nuggets. I'm glad I tried but maybe eating it in person would've made it more fresh and the buns would be less soggy. I really liked the little cow we found in our fries. It was quite small though, good thing the toddler we ate with didn't take it and attempt to eat it. read more

Came here for a nice little day date with my husband. He loves a fun burger and Asian fusion so it was a must try. This truck is located in a cute little place with a couple of other trucks, none of which were open. The owner of the truck is very friendly. He knew just about everyone that walked by. He made us feel very welcome and even suggested a few dishes. We were not in a hurry so the time it took to get our order wasn't an issue, but if you are on a time crunch it could be an issue. The food was good. The burger felt a bit overpriced as it is $13ish and doesn't come with anything. Of course beef costs are high right now, so we let this slide. I got the bop bowl with an egg and kimchi which made it $17. I can't say that I found the additions to be worth it. The friendly owners and location mean we will be back some time. But I'll just be more strategic with my order. read more

The tacos were really well balanced, not too heavy and were refreshing on a warm summer day. - basil fries: I always get some of their basil fries, they have a similar texture and shape as mcD's fries but are more elevated [ service ]: 10/10 - the employee and owners are all very nice, hospitable, and attentive! Wow Cow is a food cart located near Main Street in downtown Tigard next to the splash pad. It is easily found by its black spots! There is plenty of seating available with shade but we chose to take our food back home. Though, this would be a great place for folks with young children to enjoy a meal and watch them play on the splash pad. The server seemed new and there was some difficulty with communicating due to the loud music. We got the sliders and the bop bowl. My favorite was the bop bowl. I loved the sauce that came with it- it was spicy and sweet simultaneously. The sliders definitely were more on the American side of the flavor spectrum. Very tasty, I will definitely be coming back! read more

I love smashburgers, fusion food, and Korean food, so when I searched for "smash burger near Portland" and came up with Wow Cow, I was pleased as punch. At first, I had a little trouble finding the place. It was in a pop up food cart in a little square made just for burgeoning new pop up food businesses. I think I've died and gone to foodie heaven. The whole menu sounded amazing, and it was hard to pick something out. I was really on the fence between ordering something more American or Korean. I ended up ordering the Korean Philly, which was the less daring (more American) of the two Philly options. The meat was amazing. I wouldn't really know how to describe it except that it reminded me of the Bulgogi beef at my favorite Korean spot in Sac. The flavor was WOW. I mean, real flavor, not just oil. The meat was perfectly marinated and tender AF, and there was plenty of it. I loved the toppings, but I think I would have actually liked the Wow Philly even more. If I came back again, I would order that. The man who took my order, who I think might have been the owner, was super cool. When he handed me my food he said, "Here's your Philly... and your micro cow. Moooo." How could you not laugh? It was so silly it was cute. The cookie was definitely Chips Ahoy or something, but it was only 99 cents. Bomb meal and the price was surprisingly low overall considering the value of the meat, cheese, and bread. read more

Great food cart in the Universal Plaza. Really great Korean takes on all kinds of food. The sliders are my go-to, but during Portland food weeks he'll do limited tacos, burgers, and hot dogs. I try them whenever I can. I often get the food to go, but there's plenty of seating in the plaza. My only complaint is I wish he was open later! read more

Kalbee Burger Wow, this burger is totally BURSTING with flavor. The grilled onions hit you with sweetness, which is balanced with pickles and the beautifully cooked beef. An overall sweet flavor profile, but I think that's what makes it unique to the competition. Basil Truffle Fries: Well seasoned, crunchy - totally addicting especially with the aioli sauce. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu. read more
Fun little food cart in the Tigard launch pods (which I can't wait to visit in summer because they have great outdoor seating and a restroom for use). We ordered a ton of things on the menu after the staff walked us through some of our questions (and gave us these adorable tiny plastic cows to take home!): Wow Cheesesteak- this was one of our favorites. Really nice balance of flavors here. Bop Bowl + egg and kimchi- the two girls' favorites and what one person deemed as "basically fried rice". A decent portion size and loved that you could customize this to be your own. Sliders-a favorite of one in the group and the recommendation from the food cart staff. Nice flavor and portioned well. Wow Fries- really good. Dressed with basically the toppings of everything else we ate. The basil truffle was just ever so noticeable. We would like to try them on their own, and imagined they'd be quite crispy if they're anything like the nuggets. Korean Chicken Nuggets- after giving my husband a hard time for ordering this - which I perceived to be a kids food item - four adults confirmed that this was everyone's favorite part of the meal! Absolute must try! Best nuggets I've ever had. Get the gochujang sauce! Looking forward to returning for the Kalbee burger and the Deji dog. read more

First time here, and the weiner week drew us to Wow Cow. It's was a little cold out we came on a Saturday and had the 3 sided tent all to ourselves. The service was tremendous and our guy was very helpful. We came here for the weiner week dog, it has freaking bulgogi on it and cheese. Really really tasty. The burger was pretty good and the bun was tasty. The basil truffle fries were a great addition. Will definitely be back! Cheers! read more

Go here. If you're reading this and wondering if you should check it out. Make it happen. Jay and team are wonderful people and the food is a flavorful adventure that you don't want to miss. I never get good pictures for reviews because I eat it too quickly. These pics are my second half of the breakfast burrito and his wow fries. I see myself as a breakfast burrito connoisseur and this is hands down in my Top 3 across the west coast. Aside from the burrito, his cheesesteak is magical, and the bop bowl is a chefs kiss, and when splitting with friends, add on the wow fries and sliders too. Basically just order the full menu. Why are you still reading this? Get off your butt NOW. Tell Jay I sent you and maybe he will give me free food? One can dream read more

The food was delicious. I had the Wow cheesesteak and fries. The kimchi gave a nice spice just as you finished your bite. The meat was nice and sweet so the two together was a nice compliment. The only thing I would change is the roll. I lost a lot of filling when I picked up the cheesesteak. The truffle fries were so yummy. I could just eat them plain but they gave me a couple sauces to try. The garlic aioli was my favorite. The staff were amazing, so personable and welcoming. The young lady provided me with a couple of restaurant recommendations as I'm here visiting. I really appreciated that. I'll definitely be back! It's a food truck and the setting is comfortable. There are tables to hangout and eat or you can take your food to go. The area set up to eat was clean and inviting. read more

If I lived closer, I would go weekly! The flavors are incredible and the sandwiches are stuffed with toppings! The staff are kind and offered menu recommendations. The park where this cart is located is beautiful, so you can spend time walking or playing in the fountain after enjoying this delicious meal. Everything is great, but the cheesesteaks are the winner for me! read more

Sorry Kim, no indoor seating, just some outdoor picnic tables. We just order and take home! Definitely worth a try!
