Wow Cow absolutely delivered! We had the Burger and it was seriously one of the tastiest burgers I've had-- packed with unique, bold flavors that all worked perfectly together. We also tried the BOP Bowl, and it was pure mouthwatering goodness. The beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Next time I'll definitely add an egg on top for a little extra protein--it would be the perfect finishin~ touch! The food is creative and it's done right, Wow Cow is definitely worth checking out. My friend ordered take out for us. I got their kalbi burger and I could really taste the Korean flavors as it had a mixture of sweet and savory. It was a bit sweeter than I expected. The burger tasted alright but for me, nothing outstanding. We also ordered the basil truffle fries. The texture was alright but I wish it had more truffle flavor. I couldn't really taste it nor the basil. The chicken nuggets were okay, typical nuggets. I'm glad I tried but maybe eating it in person would've made it more fresh and the buns would be less soggy. Move over Philly, there's a new cheesesteak in town! I was first introduced to this Korean American fusion food truck through a Yelp event and I was hooked from the first bite. Since it's just a few minutes from Costco, I have made this part of my monthly Costco run. First I do my shopping, then get gas, then head to Wow Cow for a delicious and savory meal. While I really like their Kalbi burger and the accompanying fixings, the Wow Cheesesteak is the lure for me. The Kolby marinated steak provides a sweet note to the contrasting spicy jalepeno, pungent kimchi, and carmelized sauteed onions and peppers. I now ask for extra kimchi because it's addicting! For me, the Wow cheesesteak is two meals; I enjoy half right there hot off the grill, then have the other half for dinner heating it up in the toaster oven. The fries are also a standout with the basil adding a wow factor. See how I did that? Pun intended. Their variations all include something that makes it different, upleveled, and has you saying, wow. Located in the Universal Plaza in Tigard, which is just a few blocks off 99, there are a few other food trucks lined up along side the park. There are several tables and umbrellas so you can enjoy your meal there. I've yet to try any of the other food trucks since I'm going there specifically for Wow Cow. You don't have to search for their truck; Wow Cow stands out with their inflatable cow out front and the cow print on their truck. Food is made fresh to order so if you going during prime hours, like 12pm, be patient, it's worth the wait. Plenty of street parking makes it super convenient. read more

Their name says it all, Wow Cow deals out some fantastic meat sandwiches. I got an opportunity to enjoy Wow Cow as apart of a Yelp Elite event and was so glad that WC was brought into my life. I had the kalibee burger. It was perfectly cooked, the lettuce & pickles were a great addition, and the Korean sauce took it over the top. At a lot of places the fries can be an afterthought...but not at Wow Cow. The fries at WC are crispy with truffle oil and basil on them. Just majestic fries. OK, I admit, I was a Korean Philly Cheese Steak virgin until finding the Wow Cow food truck in downtown Tigard. You can't go wrong with either the "Wow Cheese steak" ($12.99) or the "Korean Philly" ($11.99). The only difference I could see was the addition of cream cheese on the Korean Philly. Both feature marinated steak, melted cheesy goodness, grilled veggies (onions, bell peppers & jalapenos), spicy kimchi, all on a soft, fresh hoagie roll. It's an absolute mess to eat but worth every bite (and do not ask me to share!) The menu also features bowls & sliders, basil truffle fries, chicken nuggets, and a "kalbee" burger that must be seen to be believed. The Universal Plaza in downtown Tigard is a great place to relax and let the kiddlings run around too. There's a splash pad and plenty of shaded tables around the area. This truck is located in a cute little place with a couple of other trucks, none of which were open. The owner of the truck is very friendly. He knew just about everyone that walked by. He made us feel very welcome and even suggested a few dishes. We were not in a hurry so the time it took to get our order wasn't an issue, but if you are on a time crunch it could be an issue. The food was good. The burger felt a bit overpriced as it is $13ish and doesn't come with anything. Of course beef costs are high right now, so we let this slide. I got the bop bowl with an egg and kimchi which made it $17. I can't say that I found the additions to be worth it. The friendly owners and location mean we will be back some time. There is plenty of seating available with shade but we chose to take our food back home. Though, this would be a great place for folks with young children to enjoy a meal and watch them play on the splash pad. The server seemed new and there was some difficulty with communicating due to the loud music. We got the sliders and the bop bowl. My favorite was the bop bowl. I loved the sauce that came with it- it was spicy and sweet simultaneously. The sliders definitely were more on the American side of the flavor spectrum. I love smashburgers, fusion food, and Korean food, so when I searched for "smash burger near Portland" and came up with Wow Cow, I was pleased as punch. At first, I had a little trouble finding the place. It was in a pop up food cart in a little square made just for burgeoning new pop up food businesses. I think I've died and gone to foodie heaven. The whole menu sounded amazing, and it was hard to pick something out. I was really on the fence between ordering something more American or Korean. I ended up ordering the Korean Philly, which was the less daring (more American) of the two Philly options. The meat was amazing. I wouldn't really know how to describe it except that it reminded me of the Bulgogi beef at my favorite Korean spot in Sac. The flavor was WOW. I mean, real flavor, not just oil. The meat was perfectly marinated and tender AF, and there was plenty of it. I loved the toppings, but I think I would have actually liked the Wow Philly even more. If I came back again, I would order that. The man who took my order, who I think might have been the owner, was super cool. When he handed me my food he said, "Here's your Philly... and your micro cow. Moooo." How could you not laugh? It was so silly it was cute. I'm always little skeptical about fusion style restaurants but this one really nailed it. Firstly the staff were all super friendly and helpful with the menu items. My wife and I split the Kalbi burger and the Korean Philly as well as the Wow fries. Everything we got was great. Of the 3 the burger definitely stood out to me as being the most well balanced. My only note is that in the description it describes the patty as 1/2 lb and it very well might be, but it didn't quite feel as massive as I was expecting. Similarly with the Korean Philly, although everything tasted amazing, the ratio of of meat to to bun felt off and towards the end of the hoagie it felt as if I was only eating bun. Fun little food cart in the Tigard launch pods (which I can't wait to visit in summer because they have great outdoor seating and a restroom for use). We ordered a ton of things on the menu after the staff walked us through some of our questions (and gave us these adorable tiny plastic cows to take home!): Wow Cheesesteak- this was one of our favorites. Really nice balance of flavors here. Bop Bowl + egg and kimchi- the two girls' favorites and what one person deemed as "basically fried rice". A decent portion size and loved that you could customize this to be your own. Sliders-a favorite of one in the group and the recommendation from the food cart staff. Nice flavor and portioned well. Wow Fries- really good. Dressed with basically the toppings of everything else we ate. The basil truffle was just ever so noticeable. We would like to try them on their own, and imagined they'd be quite crispy if they're anything like the nuggets. Korean Chicken Nuggets- after giving my husband a hard time for ordering this - which I perceived to be a kids food item - four adults confirmed that this was everyone's favorite part of the meal!
