Prices seemed a little high but food was worth every penny!

This was our second time here and while the food is good, hubby was ready to leave after waiting almost ten minutes to be seated. It seems like there were only two people working so the server, who I think is the owner, was in the back and had no idea we arrived. Still a great spot for Korean food and a cute bar. I decided to try something I've never had before that looked similar to my grandmother's mandoo kooksoo. It was Tteok Manduguk. Similar but with Korean rice cakes in it. Hubby had beef bulgogi. Both were good as we expected.

We had a good time here. Mini kimbap was great for a 3 year old. I got the sul lung tang soup, simple, salty broth, great comfort food. Topokki was good. Nice service. Makgeolli was served in a bronze teapot.

More More More! Living in Lake Oswego has taught me there is no such thing is great late night food, until Sool which is open till 2am. This delicious amazing menu restaurant is stuck in poorly designed Mercado grove but push in, plenty of parking and worth the stop. Great immediate service, order at front or take a seat. Plenty of drink options available and the star of the show is the quality mouth watering food!

Came here as I was passing by the area and was craving some korean food. The food is good and there is a solid selection of more pub like dishes. Got the galbi, japchae, seafood pancake, and soondubu jigae. I enjoyed all the foods and from what I heard about the tofu soup- it was delicous. The seafood pancake was crispy and full of different proteins. The galbi was flavorful and juicy. Although the food did take a little time to come out, it was worth the wait. The water is self serve in the front and the staff were really nice. This location is more like casual dining and a great place to chat with some friends while snacking. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so this place is pet friendly! (+1 for me) Although I have tried more flavorful versions of these dishes in CA, if I am in the area I would come here for Korean food again. It has many more menu items I would love to try.

Whenever I travel, I enjoy eating Asian food because there's vegetables involved and rice. To taste a variety of items, my buddy and I ordered: Je Yuk Bokkem + rice - spicy stir-fried pork and kimchi, very tasty and not spicy Soon Tofu with vegetables + rice - spicy and hot soft tofu soup Korean Fried Chicken Wings - crunchy and tasty A selection of Banchans While I am used to larger portions for the price in CA, the portions kept me from over eating. Service was friendly and pleasant. Water was self-serve.

The food was good, and I appreciated how different the offerings were from what I usually eat and the amount of variety offered. I ordered two items because I was starved. The first was the Korean fried chicken wings, and they were delicious. The soon tofu soup was next, and it was the spiciest thing I have ever had and equally flavorful. My sinuses are still running. My parents loved their dishes as well. We were served multiple small cups with various pickled veggies and great sauces. The service was excellent, and the two men running the restaurant were calm and polite. I felt we were cared for from the moment we entered the restaurant. The service was fast and the food arrived quickly. The ambiance was stimulating as they were playing techno music. The aesthetic was almost industrial, with decent seating inside and out. The restaurant is roughly a three-minute drive from my house. We will be back.

Really incredible food in an inviting atmosphere. Food options are fun to explore -- the experience is as great as the flavors! A hidden surprise in the suburbs. Get any Bibimbap if you're dining in. Spring rolls are good but more similar to any other place. Nonalcoholic beverage options need an upgrade.

Food: The food here is delicious! I got the spicy ramen, oden tang, and kimchi pancake. Everything hit the spot but I really reccomend the kimchi pancake. It was super crispy. I've had a lot of korean food before and this place makes it well. Service: Service here is very friendly and nice. Justin and Ryan are very nice and welcoming. Ambiance: Come here if you're looking for a good time. They have drinks, good vibes, and delicious food.

i was blown away by the food here! the teokbokki had such a satisfying texture and i loveddddd the cheese on top. the $1 to add it was worth it. this was definitely my favorite dish. we also got the soondubu (not pictured) which was very flavorful and perfect for the weather. the crispy bossam i would not recommend it. i love all the veggies that came with it, but the pork was very dry. i prefer steamed bossam to this. the space is very cute. it's like a casual bar environment. this would be a nice place to catch up with friends and have drinks over a delicious meal. i would totally come back here!

My husband and I recently went out to dinner at Sool Korean Kitchen! We're so happy about this new restaurant in Lake Oswego! The food came out quick and was wonderfully flavored. The banchan (free sides) were great, and I thought the kimchi especially stood out. The tteokbokki with the cheese on top was some of the best I've had in Portland. The rice cakes were perfectly cooked. You can easily share dishes family style to try out multiple things. We'll definitely be back!

This is a reliable go-to Korean restaurants that never disappoints. The services is impressively quick for the polished, high-quality presentation of the food. This place is an easy choice as a place to catchup with friends or just a lunch when in the area. The food quality is consistently excellent--fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care, my two go-to dishes is the grilled chicken or the Dolsot Bibimbap, both served with rice and Banchan (small dishes). The Dolsot Bibimbap is prepared in a hot stone bowl with adds to the presentation to the meal. They have a have a bar, so you can always order a shot and beer. The space itself adds to the experience, with both indoor and outdoor seating and TVs playing scenic videos of Korea, which is a surprisingly nice touch--especially if you've traveled there and enjoy a bit of nostalgia with your meal. I've been here multiple times with friends, and it's always the same outcome: great food, relaxed vibes, and a genuinely good time. One of those places you're happy to keep coming back to.

Finally, a delicious Korean food restaurant in this area-- even better it's right down the street from me. SCORE!! Truly I cannot tell you guys how hyped I am and how often I'll be coming here from now on. The service was so kind and attentive, they really care and want you to enjoy yourself. The restaurant itself has such a nice layout, a beautiful bar, and a seat yourself quality that I really enjoy. The main star of course, is the food, which banchan and all, blew my mind! I am a frequent in the Korean food category but I feel like the Korean mama needs to come and give her stamp of approval!

Great Atmosphere and Excellent Soft Tofu Stew…read more I visited Hansik for dinner on a recommendation from a colleague, and I'm glad I did! The restaurant is very accessible with plenty of parking around the building and a wheelchair-friendly entrance. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The interior is lovely--very clean and has a great vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. The Meal I ordered the Oyster Soft Tofu Stew, which came with a side of rice, a fresh egg, and a variety of banchan (side dishes). The Stew: It had a nice spicy kick, but cracking the raw egg into the boiling pot mellowed the heat perfectly. It was delicious and paired wonderfully with the rice. The Banchan: While the variety was nice, I found most of the side dishes to be a bit too salty for my personal taste, so I didn't finish them all. To-Go: I also ordered a Seafood Scallion Pancake to take home, and the staff was happy to package it up for me. Overall, it was a very pleasant solo dining experience with great service. I'd definitely return for the stew!

First thought was, not very impressed and hope this place is not a dud. We visited on a Sunday which didn't have much customers. Only one waitress working. She was very attentive and memorized our order without writing it down. Very friendly and answered all our questions. Our order took quite a while to come out and was getting a bit worried... but to be fair, we did order quite a bit (we were hangry). AND THEN IT HAPPENED...Our food arrived sizziling hot. It was fresh and smelled amazing!! Everything came all at once except the Pork Belly. Never had purple rice before so this was an awesome experience. Banchan was great. The Hubby was sold on the Grilled Mackerel and ate the whole thing by himself. He normally doesn't like japchae (my favorite) but he actually really liked it and ate half of it. Our most favorite was the Kalbi you can tell it was marinated and they cooked it to perfection. The pork belly was good but the Kalbi stole the show. Service 10/10 Food 20/10 This is now dubbed, our new Korean go to spot. The wait was worth it!! We enjoyed the food and will definitely be back soon!!
