    K-Popcorn Chicken

Been going here since 2019, I love the K-Popcorn chicken bowl, comes with healthy multigrain rice, CRISPY & delicious chicken and sweet spicy sauce. As a healthcare worker, I love ordering takeout from here, their chicken is just so crispy and the prices are greatly affordable. The whole place is run by a Korean mom so we love supporting small businesses. Staff are super nice and lovely.

I've slept on this joint for way too long. I don't know what I was thinking. Crispy spicy chicken is cooked to perfection. Whoever the chef is deserves a chefs kith crispy, semi spicy and derichious only thing I'd ask for is a lil more drizzle on the cole slaw salad (I'm glad it was not drenched however) I'm not a huge mashed potato guy but their mashed potato has macaroni in it if you're into that type of stuff I'll be back (Arnold voice)

This review is purely based off of misinformation and bad customer service. My daughter and I have been supporting Honey Spicy for quite awhile now and we figured why not get some for dinner. We were super excited bc it's really good! Google lists their hours as open until 8:30pm and their own WEBSITE lists their closing hours at 8:00pm. See pictures as proof. My daughter and I arrive just a few minutes prior to 7:00pm. The door is locked. A middle aged man approaches and opens the door a crack and ask if we are picking up a delivery order. I'm confused at this point and say that we're here to order food for takeout. He said they're closed. I said the hours are until 8:30pm and he says "we have to update google" and then stands there really awkwardly. Super unprofessional and off putting. You guys need to learn how to maintain a business better. You've lost two loyal customers.

The crispy spicy was good, but wish the rice tots were not basked in the same sauce. The half sausage half cheese rice dog was frickin' delicious. However, I'd pass on the All Cheese as it's not very stretchy and the whole thing falls apart. I wish they'd use some other type of cheese. Service was friendly. Just wish there was seating to enjoy it there as the chicken loses crispness when transporting in a togo container. They kindly inform you that you cannot eat inside the store, but I advise against eating corn dogs in the car because they're messy.

We wanted to try the Korean hot dogs and then found out they had incredible tofu boxes. A gentleman who was very fun and friendly told us his name was Steve was likely the owner. It's a small place with seating for waiting on your order which after meeting Steve I wish we could have stayed to eat our food, and talk more with. Tables are not provided. Lowered Star rating. We opted for a rice battered all beef hot dog to try, and the lemon honey fried tofu and the spicier soy tofu both of which come with a type of slaw, purple rice and potato mash macaroni salad. We wanted to try two flavors one was very sweet the lemon honey soy almost dessert like reminding us of French toast. The other tofu was more savory and mildly spicy with a honey butter coating making it difficult to choose which one we liked best. The item that drew us in the first place was wonderful with the coated rice crunch. The hot dog juicy and very tasty. Overall the food was flavourful and meeting Steve made it all the more fun.

    Raw Dough :(

I was so excited to come here! It was one of my top pregnancy cravings. Unfortunately my corn dog is completely full of raw dough on the inside. Super disappointing :(

A friend told us about this place. We decided to give it a try. It was a small location and there was construction going on at the entrance. We walked in and there wasn't a physical person taking orders. There was a kiosk you could go and order from. We ordered Bubble Tea, Crispy Honey Butter Chicken, Corn Dog and Popcorn Chicken Bowl. All the food was great and reasonably price. Good potions. Some of the items suggested in the order were not received. We got fries instead of tots. The sauces weren't accurate and we requested the corn dog without sugar but for sugar. Because you can't sit down it's hard to check your order. We took the food home and still enjoyed it.

So, so delicious. The menu is incredibly creative! The staff were helpful and service was quick. Fast and well-priced. Will definitely eat here again!

We arrived when the Clover app via Google indicated our order would be ready and found it to be a counter service restaurant only (which was done because we ordered pickup). Upon arrival we were told it would be an additional 10 minutes as 5 other orders were ahead of us. We came back and were told it would be 5 more minutes. Apparently this is a popular spot! The man working there was really nice and was very apologetic for it being late. Now let's get to the food. Do not skip those corndogs! We got the potato rice crispy and spicy bacon corn dog and they are definitely crave-worthy. So good and unique.! The chicken bowls are decent; they come with very crispy chicken (though more fried bit than substantive chicken), a shredded salad, purple rice, and the most unique Mac salad we've ever had. It was like mashed potatoes with green onion and macaroni in it? The honey spicy sauce is great but we wish it came on the chicken. We decided we would probably skip the lemon honey soy chicken. Would return!

I'm always on the hunt for a yummy korean corn dog and this place has multiple variations! Called right before closing and was able to make it in time (TY!). It's located in a plaza and is off the main street so can be easy to miss, but you can easily park in the free lot and walk over. Mainly a to-go type of place with no tables inside. Not sure if they do usually since I came around closing but either way service is quick and friendly. Tried the original, rice, and potato with half sausage/cheese for the original/potato and full cheese for the rice. Split all three with another person and we were both fully satisfied and almost weren't able to finish all three since they were large. I've been to places where they're smaller than my hand so glad the portion sizes here were worth it and matched the price range imo. Batter here is tasty and crisp. You get the perfect cheese pull with plenty of cheese to spare. I like that they also break up the cheese/sausage within the options that allow you to have both so you don't get all cheese or sausage at the beginning and none throughout the rest of your meal. I do with the potato was crispier as it could have used another 1-2 mins for my preference but still pretty tasty. The original was nice but the fave was the rice dog as it was chewier and didn't break apart as easily as the original. Overall, it's worth checking them out and why not try one of each if you can!? I didn't order any of their other items but the prices weren't too crazy as well if you did want to try a couple things.

They are take-out only per COVID-19 guidelines. K-popcorn chicken bowl: 3.5/5 For take-out, it's now served deconstructed in a tray. This would be a white meat chicken lover's dream! The batter is super light, and the chicken is juicy. I personally prefer the flavor of dark meat, though. There is cabbage slaw instead of pickled vegetables. Maybe my favorite part was the potato mac salad, but you don't get much--just a take-out sauce container full. The Spicy honey dipping sauce has just a slight kick to it, which is fine with me. Rice crispy corn dog: 5/5 very large juicy all-beef dog with nice light, crispy batter--yummy! This could be a meal in itself. Note: the woman helping us wore a valved mask

So disappointed with our purchase. We have had Korean fried cheese many times and this was not it. There was NO cheese pull. The fried cheese was greasy and floppy. Not at all like I've ever had. The dumplings were ok. Nothing special. Very unremarkable.

Crispy Spicy Chicken: very generous portion, delicious fried chicken with sweet&spicy sauce, delicious tokpoki, good rice&salad

Delicious, very nice owner, kpop ambience is vibing too Try menu number 1 with taro milk tea

Is boba (bubble tea) only on the menu sometimes?

Bubble teas are now available & will continue to be in the future from now on. Available flavors: House made Milk Tea, Taro, Horchata, & Pistachio.

Does the batter of the corn dogs contain eggs?

    Yes

Are you guys making all cheese "corn dogs"? I'm a vegetarian and would love to get a corn dog but I can't eat the meat.

Yes, all cheese option is available for rice crispy corn dog, potato corn dog, & honey oatmeal corn dog.

    Any vegan options?

Tofu Katsu, Tofu Nuggets, pickled veggies, kelp, corn, rice, Teas

What's the difference between the regular corn dog and the crispy version?

The difference is in the outer crust. The crispy corn dog is coated with a light layer of sugar and flakes to give it a nice crispy bite to it.

Are there any gluten free options?

The tofu for the vegetarian option is breaded with a potato based flour, but I don't know if any of the options are actually gluten-free. All options seem to include rice. There is a Kim-Chi side order but the seasoning may not be gluten-free. You…
