Hot chicken. Not a lot of spice, plenty of oil. Over $20 with tip, not pleased.

Surprised by all the good reviews. My chicken was dry despite all the oil. Not pleased with what I got for $20. Was starving so I ate it all, otherwise it would of gone back. **UPDATE** Just spent the last half hour fighting a bout of food poisoning. This oily substance woke me up from a dead sleep at 5am with extreme reflux that lead to expelling from both ends. Eat at your own risk!

My fried rice had almost no flavor & the chicken was dry. I think they had used plain white rice with some vegetables & chicken thrown in. Plus they charge $1.50 extra for egg in it. Any other place that serves fried rice has never charged me for egg... The egg rolls were amazing but the gyozas also had no flavor, I think they were frozen/store-bought. Cheap frozen ones. Side salad was just lettuce with a cup of ranch dressing on the side. The walls were splattered with sauce or something, everything we touched had a sticky residue. Our feet stuck to the floor when we walked. Ranch bottles were left out to grab & warm to the touch. It was almost 6pm & empty, I think there was time for them to clean. The only saving grace: the service was pretty great & our food came out fast. Plus, my husband really enjoyed his General Tso chicken & white rice. I do feel bad leaving a poor review, but I trusted the positive reviews & gave this place a shot & don't want others to come in expecting anything extraordinary. If you are low on time & don't want to make dinner at home, sure, it's fine... But otherwise, you will be disappointed.

I tried this place first on Uber Eats and have become HOOKED! It's about 10 minutes away from the office but everyone has an order for me when I say I'm going or ordering to have it delivered. Between myself and my coworkers we have tried about half the menu and have not found anything lacking. The food it always so darn fresh and tasty!! Teriyaki chicken, a must have. Egg rolls, yes please. Their salads and dressing, you better believe it. Everything is well portioned and delicious. A week hasn't gone by since I found this place that I haven't had something from here.

Food was decent - good but this was all you get for $39. I feel ripped off. If we each got our own plate for $12 we would have got the same amount of food and paid $15 less.

Underrated. Everything tasted fresh and was hot and yummy! Would recommend to anyone wanting an Asian dish In the area!

I saw the sign for a cheap lunch special as I drove past this place on Nimbus. I should have kept on driving and went to the nearby Panda Express instead. I was generally very unimpressed by everything. I tried the pot stickers along with the chicken teriyaki special. The self-serve salad didn't look very fresh or appetizing, so I skipped it. The soup was bland and some of the veggies tasted a bit old. The pot stickers appear to be store-bought, but they're not even as good as the ones at CostCo. The white rice and unseasoned chicken with teriyaki sauce were edible and cooked correctly. I saw the words "passable" and "serviceable" being tossed around in other reviews of this place and I'll apply those to the main course and pot stickers. The dining area was clean and well-kept with lots of 2-seat and 4-seat tables and free wi-fi, so it's very appropriate for its business park location. The people running the place were friendly as well. Finally, there's this large mural of the wild west frontier that felt a bit off. Animals getting enticed over the smell of themselves being cooked on a BBQ just feels wrong. If there weren't people in the way, I would have taken a panoramic photo, but I'm probably never coming back anyway to finish the job... Food: 2 Service: 4 Ambiance: 4 Value: 2 TL;DR: No time for Rice Time

But if you like raw fish, this is a great spot. The quality of the sushi was really excellent. We've eaten at a few conveyor belt sushi places around town and the fish and rice are never that great, so it's a relief to find a place with sushi fish this good. I got the chirashi bowl, which for $18.99 is a great deal. There was 3-4 pieces of salmon, 3-4 of excellent tuna, a couple of seared tuna, a shrimp, 2 pieces of eel, and a wad of spicy tuna and a dollop of fish eggs. The rice was really good too. The serving size wasn't huge, but it was enough. My wife got the salmon bowl and it was less food - an appetizer would have helped. We will be back! Very good quality, nice people.

Agedashi Tofu & Kirimochi - Light batter on tofu and kirimochi, but enough to soak up the tempura sauce. - Kirimochi and tofu were both soft and chewy with a crispy exterior. - 10/10 2. Lobster Kara Age - Just what you would expect from Kara Age, crispy and juicy. Not too oily, not too much batter. - Yuzu mayo covers the oiliness of the fried lobster. Citrus sauce is not overwhelming. - 10/10 3. Sushi & Sashimi Combo (Sushi) - Excellent quality sashimi grade fish. No fishy aftertaste, rice was not overly sweet or salty and not overcooked. Fish slice size was larger and thicker compared to other restaurants. - 10/10 4. Sushi & Sashimi Combo (Sashimi) - Excellent quality sashimi grade fish. Hamachi was extra fatty and had amazing texture. Akami was not fishy at all, texture was great. - White fish on the side with yuzu sauce was a little fishy. Could improve, but overall an amazing dish with thick cut sashimi. Definitely satisfied expectations. - 8.5/10 5. Otoro Tuna Sashimi - Market price; reasonable price for the thick cut and quality. - Melts in your mouth, no fishy aftertaste. - Ordered after checking the fish quality from the sushi & sashimi combo. Appetizers came out 10 minutes later, sashimi and sushi came out 10 minutes after the appetizers. Despite full seating, food came out fast, and of course with excellent plating and quality. Servers came around frequently to check on any needs. Overall, friendly servers, food quality is great. ________________________________________ * Atmosphere: - Overall very much satisfied. For the price of the items, quality and quantity was assured and tasted great. Restaurant was clean and quiet despite the full seating. Again, friendly servers and excellent food quality as well as fast serving time. Portland never really had great sushi/sashimi, but I definitely recommend coming here at least once, as the items I have ordered tasted great. Many liquor choices(wine, beer, sake, cocktails, etc.) and good choice of desserts as well. Would recommend if you dislike fish due to its fishiness since the sashimi and sushi here have no unpleasant aftertaste.

The one thing I didn't like about my last visit, a little bit of micromanagement coming out of the kitchen. In all fairness, a business owner should be critical of what's being plated and served. It's a reflection of the restaurant and the way they approach food. I do not want my food to be micromanaged, I want it to be finessed. This place is clean and traditional, but the bar is also set a little low on that traditional type of experience. This place is a comfortable eatery and not much more. The cultural takeaway is washed over by Ikea lables left on soy sauce bottles, a lack of attention to detail that easily transfers from the table settings to the delivery of food. It's a local spot but not a great date night spot. I was slightly disappointed with the overall presentation and quality. For instance, what a large plate of sashimi or nigiri is brought to the table, there is no explanation and the patron is left to wonder what some pieces might be. I've always nice when the server points out my favorite pieces and maybe something I didn't know about on my plate. The pieces of fish on the nigiri were massive. Let's remember that quantity over quality is not typically what you're looking for in a dining experience.
