It is the only ONE Korean restaurant on the south end of Beaverton. Classic 90s feel with Kpop TV in the background. Banchan is standard, kimchi on the fermented side. Extensive menu. Service was cordial and straightforward but we were pleasantly surprised with a special complimentary tasting dish. Price about a dollar more than others but it is in the Beav outskirts without having to drive all the way into town. Banchan refills are happily served.
Environment: it's a pretty big restaurant with two doors/entries and lots of seats! Staff: the owner was very nice and kind! Food: 1. We ordered beef bone broth soup which was very good. It had a nice flavor and it didn't make me thirsty. 2. We got a cold noodle with bean soup. It's very interesting because the soup is made out of thick bean paste. So, it is thicker and subtle in flavor. For both the soup and this noodle dish, you add the amount of salt on your own. The noodles were bouncy and good but I got filling very quickly 3. Kalbi was expensive but it was very tender and we each ate 4-5 pieces of it. I wish I had more but it is a costly price- just like other places. Overall, it was good and one of the best services that I've ever experienced! The owner also asked if we wanted refills of the banchan which was very nice and generous.
No fuss Korean restaurant with an extensive but not overwhelming menu. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was really good and I enjoyed their unique banchan.
Craving Korean soup and we decided on going to One. Their restaurant was clean and had a peaceful ambience (they were playing some soothing Christmas music, lol). Our order came pretty quick. The seafood jampong was huge and enough to fill the both of us up. Noodles were delicious and soup was the perfect spice level, though a bit thick. We also enjoyed the banchan!
Got to try this spot with some friends recently and I got to say that the service here is amazing. At the end of the meal the wife of the restruant gave my friend a one dollar ring for paying the tab! The service here left a very good impression on our group! I will say we did enjoy the food. Our favorites were the bossom, steamed egg, tteoboki, and the japchae. The bossom just melted in our mouths and was delightful. We really enjoyed the potato banchan as well.
our favorite part about this place was the banchan selection; i loved the potatoes. otherwise we got a kimchi jigae, japchae, and a cheese corn, which were all so delicious ! they were also very accommodating with modifications (we don't eat meat, so we got our foods without it). and out server was so so sweet !
I've lived near here for a while and it has always been a great place to fall back to when I didn't know where else to eat! The food and service are always wonderful and the general feeling of the store is great! The server was especially great this time around as she was throwing jokes that made our table laugh alot!
Everything we got was delicious, even the banchan. The jamppong had a rich broth and so much seafood. The noodles were chewy and cooked just right. The seafood pancake also had so much seafood and was crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle. The seolongtung comes with salt and pepper so you can season to your liking. The broth was very milky. The grilled mackerel was seasoned just right and also very crispy, the fish wasn't dry or fishy. The owner also came by several times to check in on us and also gave my partner an apron so his shirt wouldn't be stained from the broth Would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner!
Second time here and it was awesome! The service is great and welcoming. Very genuine you can say. I like how they have a button on the side where you can push if you need service. Food was great! The beef bulgogi was delicious 10/10. You can taste the quality. Corn cheese, amazing! I recommend 12/10 lol. Then the bibimbap was 10/10, it was a nice full bowl which will get you filled up. Also, they give you little side dishes where you can snack and it's unlimited refill. The kimchi was my favorite. Lots of seats inside and I feel it's pretty spacious in there. They have kpop music playing and also lots of decorations. This is my go to spot whenever I'm craving Korean food. Delicious and amazing. Definitely will be back when visiting Oregon again!
Easily one of my favorite Korean spots. The prices are a tad higher (about 60 for these two dishes) but the portions are HUGE and it's so yummy so it's worth it in my book!!! My favorite would be the spicy squid calamari with pork belly. The sauce is insane and addicting. I loved the complimentary side dishes they gave us too.
Great Food! Great Service! I always forget that One Korean is in the neighborhood, but we need to go more often. We just had a really nice dinner. My husband said he wanted Bossam, but hilariously, he changed his mind after seeing the menu and didn't even order it. He ended up getting the Spicy Jokbal, which I was feeling a little skeptical about (pig feet!), but after one bite, I was hooked. Really flavorful and quite spicy. There is a bit of fat/skin, but we just ate around it, although I knowsome people would be put off by that sort of thing. When asked if it was any good, our server's eyes lit up and she said yes, it is one of her favorites. She did also confirm that we liked spicy food, which was good, because it definitely had some heat. Other items we ordered: Jjinmandu - Can't go wrong with dumplings! Kimchi Jiggae - My favorite Korean soup and they put a nice amount of pork in it. It was bubbling for at least a full minute before it calmed down. Impressive. Beef Bulgogi - A classic and well made here. Sweet and savory. And of course they had a nice selection of Banchan, to round out the meal. Our server even noticed which ones we liked the best and brought out an extra tray for us. We brought home a lot of leftovers because we always over-order, but I'm not mad about it. I'm looking forward to eating everything again tomorrow. If you like Korean food, definitely check this place out.
First time coming with my wife. first impression, the service was seemed tired and unwilling to seat us. Ordered the beef bulgogi, samgetang and mandu. We waited 30 minutes before asking if we had to order banchan. 5 minutes after the banchan came out followed by the rest of the food. The dumpling tasted like the ling-ling brand store bought ones from Costco. The bulgogi was okay, the Samgaetang was on menu said stuffed with ginseng, but it was stuffed with rice and chestnuts. Tasted very watered down. Definitely a first and last experience but we were too hungry to drive to Coredam. Will not be coming back.
I've never been to a Korean restaurant that doesn't give side dishes for free. Apparently ordering an "appetizer" renders lack of side dishes and rice as well. I had to pay extra for side dishes ($4.50) and rice ($2.50) - for an "appetizer" that costs $10.95. The total for my meal was $18.44. I ordered the steamed egg but it turned out to be more expensive than just ordering a main dish. I came here alone wanting a small/medium sized meal so it doesn't make sense for me to order a main dish imho. The steamed egg was not my style and too salty for me. I used to order from One Korean often for delivery when I used to live in the area. Sorry to say, but I don't see a reason to come back here after today's depressing experience. The last time I dined in, I ordered the raw marinated crab and enjoyed my meal with family. I was excited to eat here but unfortunately, I'm very disappointed by today's visit. Additionally, the bathroom did not have soap. Also, the toilet does not flush well. $20 for this meal was not worth it.

5/5, always! We've come as a big group on multiple occasions and every time the service has been great, the staff friendly and always accommodating. Each time we try a couple new things and never have we been disappointed! They fill the banchan, the food is served hot and ready, and overall just really good. The prices aren't crazy for the portion size and definitely worth your while! Gratuity is added for large groups but they definitely deliver good service. We usually come for dinner and the inside is super cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be returning and suggest you take a visit if you were considering it! read more

This is my go to Korean restaurant! Food: The menu offers a large variety of classic Korean dishes from raw crab, to comforting soups, to delicious meats! I've tried spicy raw marinated crab from here, H-mart, and Coredam and I have to say, this place does it best. My only feedback is I wish they didn't get rid of the gizzards! My friends and I loved coming here mainly for the gizzards and we were really sad to see it go. Service: the service here is always great with friendly staff members. read more

Very excited because been waiting for a portland restaurant to serve ganjang gejang. And one of my favorite Korean restaurants to boot. The spicy version has been circulating lately but finally the soy marinated version is available. Called for takeout and was ready for pickup in about 20 mins. The hostess was very friendly when I entered and greeted. Love the aesthetics and vibe of the restaurant with the Korean music playing. The garlic soy chicken was delicious like always and bibimbap as well. The marinated crab was pretty good. I haven't had it a whole lot of times in my life but it did have a slight crabby smell to it but it wasn't anything off putting. The crab meat was delicious and there was probably 5-6 clusters with a good helping of meat. Really good and I would recommend to anyone thinking of it to give it a try. read more

This might be worst restaurants I've been to... I was excited to try this restaurant since I heard they have soy marinated crab. It was quite expensive. I think it was $30 or close to $30 for 6 crabs. I don't consider myself a picky eater and hate wasting food but I could not even finish one crab. It was so SALTY and the crab was definitely not fresh. The meat was fishy and super mushy, almost liquidy. I've had spicy marinated crab before so I know the texture should not be like that. We also got the chicken with cheese and this was slightly better but still not good. It had no flavor yet was very salty. The banchan was inedible. It tasted old and funky. You can tell how sad it was by just looking at it. read more
Great find in Beaverton. Love the large booths that offer privacy. We ordered kalbi ribs and braised kimchi and pork belly soup. The flavors were fantastic and prices are reasonable. Feel the portion of Ilani ribs was generous, meat was tender and flavor was sweet perfection. Portion of soup is best shared but they happily provided us a to-go container to bring home and it reheated well. Server was nice but a bit MIA throughout the meal. We also had tea and food arrived quickly. Vibe inside is ok. K-pop music videos playing and seemed the workers kind of congregated in the other side of the restaurant. It was fairly quiet on a Friday afternoon. We arrived around 2:30 and sat right away. read more
I came here to eat Sangetang while staying in Oregon. And I ordered kimchi pancakes and kimbap. Sangetang warmed up my tired body and gave me energy. The kimchi pancakes tasted good, crispy, and delicious. The staff at the store were very kind and very good service. I will be back again. read more

We were in the Beaverton area. We found One Korean Restaurant on Yelp. We ordered a regular Bim Bim Bap and. Spicy Calamari Bim Bim Bap served in a stone bowl. The Bim Bim Baps we're delicious! Service was fast, friendly and efficient. read more

Upon entering the restaurant the server quickly seated us to a table. It was our first time trying this establishment and noticed there are two ways to enter/exit from the restaurant. Once seated, you are surrounded by listening to K-pop songs on the flat screen TV hunged on the wall. We browsed through the menu and decided on black bean noodles aka Jjajangmyeon and beef short ribs. It did take a moment for our food to arrive (15-20 mins) but time passes quickly with the distraction of K-pop playing. Jjajangmyeon - you don't often see black bean noodles on the menu at Korean restaurants. When we saw they were offering it, we knew we had to order one and it delicious. Packed of flavors of black bean sauce with a good amount of pork bits. The noodles had great chewy texture. We definitely made slurping noises. One of the banchan side dishes we had was pickled daikon and it complemented well with the noodles. La Galbi - The short ribs was good. We thought it lacked flavor a little bit. Perhaps it wasn't marinated long enough. We thought they gave a good amount of short ribs, considering it was $27. The downside were the banchans. They provided six varieties and only liked one. Overall the food was delicious. Plenty of parking as it's located inside of a plaza. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others. read more

i got the tonkatsu dish and it was fine. the pork cutlet was cooked fine and was crispy enough. the banchan was fine and the side tonkatsu cabbage salad was fine. keyword is it was fine. however 2 "complaints" 1. the sauce on the tonkatsu was strange. not the usual japanese style sauce nor was it the usual tomato sauce based sauce that korean style tonkatsu has. it was some type of sweet and sour style. it was odd. not bad, but not normal. didn't feel right, in a korean restaurant 2. prices are pretty high. this dish was from the lunch special type discounted list of items, but everything on the menu felt expensive read more

I am so sorry to knock a local place but the reviews are lies. Either the yelpers have low standards or just don't know what good korean food tastes like. Bibimbap: $20 for a very small portion with almost no meat and little flavor. Soy Garlic Fried Chicken: not crispy, bad quality chicken, with a strangely gelatinous sweet sauce?? Sort of like a bad orange chicken in the Midwest. Pork Katsu: the meat was tough and grisly, the sauce was watery and not katsu sauce. It was also on an unnecessarily large plate. Unfortunately, we live a few blocks away and will not be back. read more

Once I saw the restaurant's Instagram post about their new special, soy sauce raw marinated crab, I knew I had to come try it! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff and was seated immediately. The soy sauce of the raw marinated crab had a nice spice from the chilies that wasn't overwhelming and there was also a herbal taste that I can't put my finger on it. Could it be the kelp? The crab shell was soft, easy to bite, and suck on. The meat came out in one squeeze and it was so good with rice. It's much lighter to eat than the spicy raw marinated crab. They also cut off the spikes on the crab, which made it easier for me to gnaw on the legs. The other dishes that my friends and I got were the beef bulgogi, fried rice with shrimp, and the boneless sweet & spicy fried chicken. Their fried chicken is flavorful and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I would literally be satisfied with just the boneless fried chicken and rice. Overall my friends and I had a really good dinner here and would love to come back again to try everything else on their menu! read more

The Wife Husband and daughter combination really shines through the food and customer service!!! Really appreciate any and all love y'all to help supporting this spot!!! Great humans running a fantastic neighborhood Korean spot with a lot of goodies and surprises!!! It's been a while since I dined in here, usually order to-go. It looks like the menu has been updated. The food here is still pretty good and worth checking out. I like their yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and Samgyetang (chicken soup). Both are good when you have been eating a lot of fried foods lately. One Korean is underrated! They have solid Korean staples, like kimchi pancake, spicy rice cake, and stews, as well as a variety of sool anju or food that pairs well with drinks! Ask them what their specialty is! Although I usually don't order steamed spicy fish dishes, one of the dishes they make excellently is their maeuntang. It's not fishy at all, but has a deep spicy flavor that goes perfectly with rice. The location is just behind Shari's off of Murray Blvd with plenty of parking! read more

Our new go to Korean restaurant. Been here 3 times already. Good friendly service, Korean shows on TV and tasty. Service by doorbell if you need anything after placing your order. Chapchae had good flavor, slightly on the sweeter side. Nice balance of noodles and veggies. Chicken had good flavor, but I expected it to be crispy, it was breaded and a little soggy in texture, but still good with rice. The star dishes were the soups, the rice cake dumpling soup is yummy. The soup is very peppery, but lots of rice cakes and fair amount of other ingredients compared to other restaurants I've had this dish at. Yukgaejang , spicy, flavorful and delicious. Will be back to try other dishes and order the soups again. read more
One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area! Their food is always excellent and the Korean aunties working there are so lovely, they really make you feel at home. I appreciate that they play BTS on the TV. All the side dishes that come with your order were so delicious, they have some of the best kimchi in town! I ordered the Yukgaejang, the noodles and beef were cooked well. The soup broth is so hot and flavorful, it was a comforting meal. If you're craving some hearty Korean food, come here and you will not be disappointed. read more
