Came here on a Sunday for lunch and I was so impressed with how good the food was. The crust was perfectly cooked for all three pizzas. The work staff were very friendly and one asked which pizzas we liked the most and it was nice having a conversation with them. The place was very clean and open which is a lot different than what I'm used to at really good pizza spots. Also liked how they had a little section for customer parking. Will be back for sure!

Great pizza with unique flavors. I was pleasantly surprised to see a pizza with beef larb on it. I've never seen that before and it was SO GOOD! A great balance with the herbs and bits of charred crust. It's such a perfect fusion, done so well that I can't wait to take my parents and grandma here. My friend and I ordered two pizzas to share since we wanted to try out the flavors, ate nearly every bit. I also got to try their yuzu ranch which I was so curious about. I ended up pouring it over my pizza and finished the whole cup!! The first time I tried Hapa pizza, they were at a farmers market. To see them in a shop and to hear that they are working on expanding the shop is awesome. They truly deserve all the success!

Gosh, why does Portland have so many great pizza places?!? The daughter just introduced us to this Asian inspired pizza place and we were blown away. The flavors come from much loved Asian foods in pizza form with dough that is so chewy and crisp that you know it wasn't an afterthought. We ordered their Korean inspired burrata salad, a huge piece of fresh mozz over Korean style cucumbers and topped with tomato and crispy bits. Super creamy and delicious. We then had their bahn mi, pho and beef larb pizzas. The flavors were spot on with the herbs and fillings you would find in the actual dishes. So super delicious and authentic. Hubby used to have a favorite pizza from another Portland standard, but these guys just won top spot for him. We were able to chat with the owner who was especially kind and friendly. She asked about our favorites and explained how they started out as a pop up. We're so glad they have expanded their seating area as I'm sure they get super busy. Very cute place!

Above and beyond friendly staff. You'll never find any other restaurant staff as friendly as Hapa Pizza's. I love their variety of Asian fusion pizza flavors. We ordered the Margherita Pizza w/ additional meat toppings and it was incredibly flavorful, one of the best Pizza in the country I've tried. Prices are super affordable which I like as a college student. I highly recommend trying this place for all Pizza lovers! I wanna add that their Pho Pizza, absolutely unique and amazing, they captured the essence of Pho exactly. Really delicious and stunning. I recommend trying it if you want an unique experience. *Lovely atmosphere for hangouts/dates.

One of my favorite pizza spots in the Portland area, and there's a TON of them! This time I got the Portland pizza week pizza because it sounded too interesting not to try- Apple butter, apple compote, mint, shiso, miso vinaigrette, whipped lemon ricotta, finished with house taro chips for crunch. It was incredibly delicious, the perfect balance of sweet, umami, creamy, and crunchy. There aren't many places that could pull off a pizza with such an amazing balance of bold and subtle flavors. This pizza is a perfect reflection of just how good Hapa Pizza is. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Banh Mi Pizza and char siu pizza

This place has a bunch of five star reviews for a reason. Wow! I live in Portland, so the trek out there is a little longer for me, but I cannot wait to go back. The Banh Mi pizza was outstanding. The Char Siu was also very tasty. I want to come back and try the Pho pizza. Don't forget to try the dipping sauces, the Yuzu ranch is phenomenal. Service was very good and helpful, and answered all of our questions as we ordered. Ambience is clean, modern, and informal, plus they also have some nice outdoor seating options when the weather is nice!

I've been wanting to try this place for a bit, because the reviews and images look so great. I had really high expectations for this pizza and the overall experience. We ordered our food for delivery so maybe that's the problem. Perhaps we should have dined in. While the pizza was very flavorful, truly, the flavor was on point for the pho, margarita and diavola pizzas, I found the dough to be soggy. The crust was excellent in taste and texture but I found the bottom of the pizza or the part that contained all the toppings to be soggy. I won't order again for delivery, unfortunately. However, I would consider dining in to give the full experience a try.

Got the tom yum and banh mi pizza. After hearing all the rave about banh mi, thought I'd like it more than tom yum but I was wrong. The tom yum has such a deep, bold flavor that all comes together very well. The banh mi was good but on the sweeter side. The crust is good, but not a fan of the crust having burnt areas on it. Definitely have to fold the pizza to be able to eat it without toppings falling off. If heating up pizza for later, the banh mi holds up better than the tom yum so if you have to finish one and save the other, eat the tom yum up first!

I had high hopes because my hubby had built them up so much ,but alas it was not the experience for me. Stopped in for dinner and were promptly attended . The vibe is relaxed and friendly and has a style of ordering that unfortunately I am not a fan of which is you order at the counter and then grab a seat . We came in looking for those Thai flavors that my husband had talked about so much , but alas the menu had changed and they no longer were making those , so we got the Korean flavored toppings instead . For me Unfortunately the creativity was what brought me here and I didn't get to experience it , it could be the pizza I chose or it could be an off day but I found the toppings really average .The crust had a nice chew and crisp bottom , the kind of texture you appreciate when you really taste the dough. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They seemed into the food themselves and it shows. Parking can be a hit or miss depending on the day you go , there are some spots behind the building and some street parking. Overall , I found them average and wont be rushing back soon.

The best pizza I've had around!!! We got the Pho pizza and the Lamb Curry. The Pho pizza was life changing. I was not expecting it to taste so much like Pho but better. The meat was delicious and tender, and melted in my mouth!! The lamb curry was decent, I'd say our favorite was definitely the Pho out of the two. We will definitely be back for the other flavors. There are several tables as well as a back patio if there's no space in the regular area. The employees are nice and helpful.

Tried their family pho and banh mi pizza! Pho was a bit sweet per our preference likely from the sauce but the pizza dough was sooooooo onlicous! Airy but chewy and thin slice too! Banh mi pizza was 100/10! The crunch from the daikon slices and the lemongrass grilled pork was very flavorful added the toppings of a banh mi, super refreshing on a hot day! We added extra meat to both pizza, there's extra charge but well worth it and we also got yuzu ranch on the side which was also so worth it, another charge. Topped off with their pandan coconut ice cream (a bit too sweet to our preference ) and Vietnamese coffee tiramisu, wow wow wow wow!! If you're a coffee lover, give it a try! Total for 2 adults and a toddler came to $74 and we had our own beverage so we didn't get anything else to drink but they do have a ice water drink station where you also grab plates and crushed pepper etc. staff are very friendly and attentive! Indoor and outdoor seating and it's very nice indoor with good lighting and spacious layout.

    kimchi pork belly pizza
    Tram D.

yummiest pizza ever! I was warmly greeted when I walked in and everyone working was so kind! I ordered the kimchi pork belly pizza which was delicious. my favorite part of the pizza is the dough! it's sooo chewy and not heavy at all. the cheese corn base of the pizza was perfectly paired with the tangy kimchi. I loved the crunch from both the corn and the kimchi. the pork belly was smoky and paired nicely with the kimchi. We also got a thai tea and a strawberry thai tea. both were strong and I liked how the strawberry purée was fresh and not artificial tasting. sooo yummy :)

My default is the Buddha's Delight with chicken and house-made garlic sauce. It's basically a steam/stir fry loaded with a medley of fresh veggies including broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage and a balanced proportion of white meat chicken. It's a very good sized plate of food and enough for me to take home some leftovers. My husband enjoys their yellow curry with tofu, potato, onion and medium-spicy, creamy sauce. White jasmine rice comes with the dishes, brown is $1 extra. We also like the fresh salad rolls with prawns, lots of crunchy greens, herbs and sides of chili sauce and a yummy peanut sauce. The restaurant can feel a bit crowded and noisy during peak times. The service varies from average to good and the food comes out pretty quickly. One thing that really needs mentioning is that the run-down building exterior and weedy, unkempt landscape have been very poorly maintained to the point that I think this could reflect negatively on an, otherwise, very good restaurant. I could see this being a real turn-off to someone unfamiliar with the positive qualities of the place. Hope they consider putting some time and energy into improving this.

Amazing Thai Food, and service. Highly recommended…read more This place has been a regular go-to for at least once a month for my boyfriend and I. We like to order takeout from this place mostly, but on occasions we choose to dine in to further enjoy the scenery of the place. I am Thai myself so this place does a pretty decent job at making me feel like I'm at home again every time I order their food from here or if I show up to eat at the place. The most recent time I ate from them was February 8th, actually, at 3:00pm a little bit after a rush hour or when it was about to end, so I feel like maybe I ordered at a good time. Still, I had a good experience and a nostalgic feeling with every bite that went down. Their menu is pretty well designed, easy to read, well-laid out and self explanatory. The people always greet you kindly and make you feel welcomed which I think is pretty cool too. The pricing is very much debatable. When I say that, I mean that the price number may shock you while you're reading the menu, but that is until you start eating your dish that you ordered and thought it was "expensive" you realize you almost always need to loosen up your pants after we're done eating like my boyfriend, or you need to bother the waitress for a big to go box after already eating the best you could. Almost every single time, that has happened to us and we laugh about it every single time. We usually order the Sweet Sausage Fried Rice and Pad See Ew with chicken. My boyfriend is a big fan of the sweet sausage fried rice, he is a big fried rice lover already and has had sweet sausage before but never together in fried rice so this menu intrigued him the first time he read the menu and saw it as an option. After he tried it, he never stopped going back for more. I, on the other hand like their Pad See Ew much more because I grew up with homemade fried rice a lot so making it myself wasn't a big deal, but stir fried noodles that was something my family would always go out of their way to dine at or order take out from and they would try to top one another which restaurant they thought was better and why (e.g. more meat, more noodles, looks prettier, worth the money more, it's an award-winning, michelin star winning, franchised by this celebrity from this movie, etc.. you name it) so finding good stir fried flat rice noodles was a hit and miss for my family so eating really good stir fried noodles that I found in the US near the comfort of my home really made me feel good. Their service was exceptional, really. Online and in store, really good. When we were dining in at one point, my boyfriend who is a picky eater due to sensory issues, wanted no onions, tomatoes, and some other things in his fried rice I can't remember too sure. But, I tried speaking Thai to the waitress since her appearance seems to be Thai as well, and sure enough she was Thai too and she was really sweet and helped accommodate me and my boyfriend to suit our preferences the entire time. We also tried ordering Pink Milk too which is a childhood refreshing summer drink of mine which really just consists of Ice, Milk, and Hale Blue Boy Red Syrup but it tastes sweet and smells like strawberry and hits the spot really well on a hot day, and that's exactly what it tasted like. We both loved the drink, we almost wanted to order another one, actually. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try new foods, is interested in asian, southeast asian cuisine, or even just seafood and other food combinations with it. No need for studying the culture or menu, the people are very welcome to people who don't know anything about Thailand or Thai food at all. I recommend showing up at happy hours too, if you can. They have good deals and discounts on food and all kinds of beverages. Definitely worth the money, can seem like a little bit up there if it's your first time or you just don't eat there too often. Very flexible with accommodations in person and especially, also upfront about additional charges for additions to your menu item. An experience worth paying for from time to time, in my opinion.
