For this review, though, we'll stick to the meat (& bread, cheese, veggies and condiments) of the matter. In short: yes. Very much yes! My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!

Quick Snapshot - Fast service, excellent food, and reasonable prices…read more Detailed Review - If you find yourself in the Hillsboro area, this sandwich shop is well worth a visit. The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable. They also operate a butcher shop next door, which has become one of my favorite places to purchase quality meats--I plan to review that separately in the future. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

It almost feels like an upscale market? that also serves cold and hot foods. This is sort of the place I get analysis paralysis, cause there is truly something for everyone depending on the vibe. For me i got the fish and chips. and they weren't life changing, but they were still decent, but nothing to write home about. Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

Once you're done, you sit and they will bring it over. There is also a jug of ice water you self serve from. Seating is a little limited, as the restaurant isn't huge, but hasn't been an issue when I have gone. They also can open up the doors/windows which is really cool when it's nice out. The Cuban came on toasted rustic roll, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pork shoulder and ham were cooked perfectly and had such an amazing flavor. The grain mustard and Swiss cheese really brought everything together though. The chips were nice, salty, and very crunchy. Nothing crazy to write about, but I still enjoyed them. Overall, it's probably one of the best Cubans I've had, but I'm not an expert on them. I've been back a second time and it was just as good as the first!

Each table accommodates 2-5 people, though some seating may be snug. You can also find courtyard seating outside, some with umbrellas, some in the sun. At Sebastiano's, you place an order at the counter; you get a number, and they bring it to you. They have a nice variety of sandwiches, though I must admit I'm disappointed they don't offer mortadella. They also have some soups, salads, and desserts. I ordered the Il Classico, and my hubby ordered the Jim Jonke. We also ordered a lemon cookie to enjoy after our sandwiches. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. As much as I love arugula, I think the Il Classico could use one more slice of ham (I think there were two slices) and less arugula, which was piled nearly 1" thick, taking up much of the room. The focaccia was a flavorful canvas for the sandwich. The lemon cookie (made with olive oil) was tender and bright with flavor. It was a nice, sweet treat to cap off the meal.
