I can't believe it took us this long to check this place out! I've been on pho kick so we decided to check it out. The inside is nicely laid out, and has a dope mural on the wall. The menu isn't too expansive, but definitely has something for everyone. I LOVE their pho, it's currently #1 on my list. The broth is delicious, and the steak is very yummy. Long's Vietnamese Kitchen, I had high expectations for you. Drove across town to try your food, but we were less than pleased. Should have known, walking in here at 1pm, we were the only patrons. That's okay, maybe it's after the holidays and people are at home saving money. A couple of things I want to point out: 1) An employee sneezed and didn't change her gloves and continued working by handling cups. I had to ask another employee to tell her to change them out, but she was very hesitant to do so. 2) Another employee coughed over the condiments bottles (hoisin) and didn't cover her mouth. 3) The pho soup was so oily! By the time I was done with my meal, it felt like my mouth was rinsed in oil, and there was nothing I could do to get rid of it. The upside: 1) Cute place, well decorated 2) Pho soup tasted authentic and it was hot & steamy when it came out. (Small portions.) Pho #1 is $17.00 for one choice of meat. I will not be back. The service was very attentive and friendly, but overall the food took a little while to get served after ordering. I had the Tom Yum noodle soup and the Tom Yum broth just felt a little too sour and also the chicken was very overcooked. I do appreciate that you were able to substitute pho noodles in as other places have raised to think about that. The sample platter was nice to be able to try a bunch of different appetizers as well as a salad in the middle. I didn't try the rice and chicken plate but my dad said it was really good and we could see how crispy and moist the chicken was so maybe that's the go to item for this place. Overall - Very aesthetically appealing place, especially the backlit sign on the wall when you walk in. That said, don't judge a book by its cover, which we probably should have remembered when we were the only customers there during lunch hour. Location - Directly across the street from the Intel Aloha office. It shares a parking lot with other businesses, and there's a Safeway within walking distance. Food - My wife and I had seen a lot of social media videos, including influencer posts, about the rice dishes and the pho, so we made the drive from the east side. Unfortunately, the pho (#1) and the shaking beef weren't worth the trip. The pho broth tasted authentic but had a lot of oil in it. The shaking beef had plenty of flavor from the sauce, but it was overpowering and drowned out the other ingredients, like the red onion. read more

We got the Beef Pho Combo (with all the meats!) and the grilled pork with vermicelli noodles. The packaging of each dish was nice and secure and they surely do not skimp on the portions! While it's not the best pho I've had in the area, I did appreciate the piping hot soup and its deep flavors. The grilled pork was also seasoned well and tender with not-too-fatty cuts. The sauce and the pickled veggies brought it all together with sweet and sour vibes. I am only speaking about my takeout experience but I am hoping to make it into the store soon! read more

At the moment, this is our go to pho spot. I don't know if I can adequately explain how pure the broth tastes at this place. Some places have too much oil or I don't know, use too many ingredients maybe? This broth tastes fresh and clean and the meat portions are so plentiful. Long's Vietnamese Kitchen is a true gem! I did not go to their food truck but I can see why they now have a brick and mortar place! Build it and they will come!!! This week was there soft opening, and working through the kinks, hours and service! However it was amazing food!! I ordered the Broken Rice with pork chop and it was outstanding--the pork was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rice and topped off with an over easy egg. I also tried the Chili Lemongrass Kick with chicken, which had just the right amount of spice and brightness from the lemongrass. The portions were generous, the service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere felt inviting and relaxed. Only thing was an issue for me but easily resolved was no ice served with your water, so don't forget to ask. Definitely one of the best spots in the area for authentic Vietnamese comfort food--I'll be back to explore more of the menu and view the dragon mural at night with the blacklight LED's. I have been here quite a few times now and I can say that the service is great, the food is very tasty and they have the best Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea around! I'm very happy that this restaurant opened up super close to my house. This makes it very convenient to grab my daily coffee/tea supporting my caffeine habit. The Pho broth is delicious and is cooked for 16-18 hours. So if you have time you should try the Pho. The Bahn mi sandwiches are a great quick grab when I'm on the go. I'm a sucker for a good peanut sauce and this place has it!! I enjoy a shrimp salad roll which is really just a peanut sauce delivery system. The grilled chicken and pork are flavored so well that I crave it all the time now. So, whether you are a fried rice fan, a yakisoba noodle person or its just a salad kind of day. We saw this place featured on Social Media and decided to give it a try. My husband always wants Vietnamese and my daughter and I rarely oblige, but I liked that the menu here had a bunch of different options. The inside is cute with a big dragon painted on the wall and TVs featuring street food from around the world. It's bright with some fun lighting fixtures, really modern and updated. My daughter had the Pork Chop with Broken Rice and absolutely loved it. She really enjoyed it with the egg mixed into the rice. The salad on the side was also a nice fresh touch. I had the Shaking Beef, which was really flavorful. It's marinated beef cubes stir-fried with bell peppers and onions. I really liked the depth of flavor on the beef cubes, which paired perfectly with the rice and salad. My husband had the grilled pork vermicelli which he enjoyed. The pork had the grilled flavor that he craves. I really appreciated how fresh everything was. This place definitely hits! We will absolutely be back. read more

It's nice to have more Vietnamese choices in my neighborhood. I would give Long's Vietnamese kitchen a solid four, perhaps 4 1/2. We arrived just before the dinner rush and were promptly seated. The menu is quite varied and includes some non-Vietnamese choices. Unfortunately, they did not serve my favorite, banh xeo. We ordered the lobster wontons, but quite honestly, I could not tell there was lobster in them because the cream cheese dominated. The broken rice pork chop plate was delicious, especially with the crispy fried egg on top of the rice. The combo bun was substantial with pork, chicken, char siu and shrimp and was quickly polished off by the man in our party. The $3 Asahi and Obsidian stout beers were a bonus. The dragon mural is compelling as you walk in to the restaurant. I did find some of the lighting rather garish, particularly around the front counter, but otherwise it was pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive. One of my companions really enjoyed the pho broth so I will have to go back to try that. Overall, a solid edition to the Hillsboro/Aloha neighborhood. read more

I've stopped in here several times now specifically for my wife's Vietnamese iced coffee fix; she absolutely loves it! While she's had the chance to dine in a couple of times already, I'm still looking forward to sitting down and tasting through more of the menu myself in the near future. A wonderful Vietnamese food truck in Aloha, OR. Which has quickly become one of my favorites. Their food is tasty, and portions are always consistent. I drove past the food cart pod where Long's was previously located almost everyday, but only got to try their food after they moved to their brick and mortar spot. I'm so glad I finally tried it! The broken rice dish comes with a lot of food and was good for two meals for me. This was my first time ever trying this dish and I loved it! When I visited, it seems like they were still working out the kinks, but the staff were all kind and patient. The restaurant itself looks modern and clean. I've have been here a couple times this month now and am impressed with how their pho tastes. The broth is clean and full of flavor. The portion size is generous along with the protein provided. I tried their lemongrass beef soup as well (BBH, but with just beef) and enjoyed that as well. I really liked the flavor of the broth. They didn't have the traditional sides that would go with the lemongrass beef soup, but im okay with that. My second visit, I tried their broken rice plate and that was good. This is a new Vietnamese place that's opened up nearby where we live. Seems like an exciting place with pretty decor. We ordered a take out where we were told 15 mins till it's ready for pick up. They have a new brick and mortar store! We stopped by and it was nice and modern inside, clean, with an impressive mural on the wall. The combo pho was great but I wished there was tripe in it. But the meat portion was plentiful. Also the vermicelli pork chop was quite nice. I saw some others had something with an egg topped in it and will have to try it out. Was craving a bahn mi like I always do and viola. This was great. The bread could have been more crunchy on the outside. But overall the flavors were good. For the price though this bahn mi should be perfect. I think this was 14$ which is wild. The whole beauty of a bahn mi is it's suppose to be 4$ and simple and good. Either way. Pretty good sandwich. Straight up, 5-stars simply for the Lúc Lăc Beef alone! Talk about WOW!!! It's been a while since I've had such a delectable dish like this. Here's a bit about this little food pod called Long's Vietnamese Kitchen: First time here, so heres what I sampled: * KHAI VI 4 MON - Combo appertizer ($11). This platter came with 4 fried tofu triangles, 3 calamari cuts, 2 lobster wontons, and 2 egg rolls. I mean, seriously, that's A LOT for only $11 imo. I probably could've added a bowl of rice, and I'd be satisfied by not sharing. But really, this platter is meant for sharing lol. * CÁNH GÀ - Chicken Wings ($13), which was about three full-sized chicken wings but cut into six pieces. This was just pure (fish sauce) saltiness and crispy crunchiness combined! Loved it too! These wings were just bursting with flavor! * LÚC LẮC BEEF ($17), and the star of the show I must say! This came with a side of rice and salad. And of course, tender little sweet morsels of cubed beef! Somewhat in a stew, but definitely fun spooning that gravy over rice. I highly recommend trying this dish, as it was simply heaven! Food Pod info: Located down 185th, but parallel to TV Hwy, just past the train tracks sits The Garage Food Carts. There are six main pods, but I gotta add that the most popular of the carts has to be the Antojitos pod and Long's! There's plenty of parking spaces and two ample sections of tent covered picnic tables to dine at. Just be weary of the dust from the construction clean up around the area. Other info: I came here on a 100° temperature Sunday, so I'll assume the guy that opened up the ordering window and greeted me was Long himself. He was helpful as, again, it was my first visit here, and I wasn't sure what to order. It took a while for the food to come out, but it was all worth the wait. At the very end, the lady (assuming is Long's mom) beeped my pager, handed me my order, and right then I knew this place was legit. Long's new brick & mortar restaurant is beautifully done, blending modern art (the giant mural!!) with the feel of hole-in-the-wall SGV Vietnamese restaurants where I grew up eating. The menu is very limited - hopefully they expand it over time! We went on a warm afternoon (and hence didn't try the usual pho), and were overall happy with the experience. Pros: Impeccably clean, lovely interior design, and overall good flavors and service. - Best cafe sua da I've have in town!! - They had broken rice, which is a win; lately other places run out and serve regular jasmine rice that I've got at home. - The portion of heo nuong was huge! I've never seen two big chops in one dish before, and the grilled flavor was deliciously strong. - The squid and seafood in the noodles was well cooked, which was nice after having often had it rubbery. The leftovers were good straight out of the fridge! Cons: Slightly Americanized with flavors on the sweet side across the board. - Sweet & sour sauce was served instead of nuoc mam with the cha gio, and gio cuon had Thai-adjacent peanut sauce, instead of the darker, more savory Viet style. Not a big deal, next time I'll just request the sauce I prefer. - The nuoc mam was bland, despite having very good flavor (disclaimer: I'm a very picky B about nuoc mam). - One of the servers was new and not very attentive, she checked in on us once and then didn't look again while we tried to flag her down to order a drink. For $20, everything on the sampler platter should be made in house. Everything was frozen and not even fried correctly. On top of that, serving that all with generic sweet Chili sauce, instead of traditional viet dipping sauce is a travesty. The pho was lackluster. My noodles were splitting which means they were overcooked, and for $20 the portion size is incredibly small. I can get more at other local spots and they actually cook the noodles right. Incredibly disappointing. Pholandia is better. read more

I believe the waitress that helped me was new and was still training so forgot to give me the option to tip on card. I got the Bo Buc Lac which is Shaken Beef. Flavor was good, only thing I would wish is that they cut the steak pieces a little smaller so it's more bite size. I also got the pork egg rolls and they were good as well. My wife and I decided to stop by for lunch during their soft open at their brick and mortar restaurant at 20235 SW TV Hwy, August 21st 2025, she had the pork egg roll vermicelli salad and I have the grilled pork as well as chicken salad rolls. They were all fantastic! We love Vietnamese food and this was A cut above! We just got done working in our storage unit and so felt a little grungy compared to the beautiful decor, but the servers didn't bat an eye and were very sweet. The owner came over to explain the black light hand-painted gorgeous dragon mural along the wall and show us examples of it at night. The only problem I have is the portion was so large even after being hungry for lunch, we had to each take some home. :-) Stop by say hello to Mr Long, and try out some of this fresh healthy Vietnamese food. read more

Glad I checked again and now seen the window open & a friendly face inside! Originally wanted to try the pork belly banh mi but he had just run out. -Shucks! Bet it's tasty! Settled for the grilled pork banh mi, lobster wontons & shrimp salad rolls. Salad rolls were thick and wrapped nice & tight. The peanut sauce was rich & tasty. Banh mi baguette was perfectly toasted, fair amount of vegetables and meat. The pork was crispy yet tender & had a flavor similar to Korean style. Very filling! Lobster wontons were warm & gooey with the cream cheese mixture. With and without the sauce, they're a must. The location has 5-6 food trucks lined up with both indoor & outdoor seating.
