The only place around for $14.50 large pho. The broth flavorful and generous amounts of meat. Service is always quick Definitely a hole in the wall.

The food is always very good here and friendly staff. The Pho broth is one of the best!

So yummy! This place has been here for over a decade, and I forgot about it. I recently discovered it again, and the prices are about 2/3 of other Vietnamese places. The fresh salad rolls were great with peanut sauce, and the steaming hot pho with flank steak was flavorful. Definitely worth the trip!

Beef Pho

Local Vietnamese restaurant that is family owned. Upon arriving, we were told to sit where we wanted and they quickly brought us waters and the menus. They have both regular tables and booths which is nice if you are with a larger party. The menu had a lot of different options. Tons of appetizers, phos and rice dishes to choose from. We got the pork bahn mi and beef pho. The food came out fairly quicly as well. The pork bahn mi was very tasty, simple but fresh ingredients that went well together. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef pho was good as well. The broth is on the lighter side in terms of flavor. They gave a generous amount of meat and noodles and bean sproats and chili pepper that came on the side. The price is very good for the amount of food you get. The drinks are on the more expensive side vs other Vietnamese places. We also ordered an orange juice but they forgot about it - they just removed it from our total at the end when we were paying. It looked like it was just the owner sitting people down, taking orders and acting as the cashier so you may have to be more patient. Overall, great local place for pho - I would recommend coming here on colder days. Good portions but I wish the soup had a more rich flavor.

Spicy beef soup

This is a non-assuming place located on 185th Ave and Baseline intersection. My son and I used to visit this place whenever he came down from New York for a vacation or some downtime. Today we re-visited this place for lunch. We were never disappointed in this place with whatever we have ordered and consumed. The food is really really good and tasty. We ordered shrimp sticks, deep fried spring rolls, grilled pork chops with rice, spicy soup with beef shank and shrimp balls with pho noodles. Everything was so tasty and amazing. Don't forget to ask for their chilly oil sauce on the side, it is way different and inhouse made, it is out of this world. Also asked for typical mom tom dipping sauce on the side. Which is fermented shrimp pase and topped with sliced spicy green chillies. Mind blowing experience. It is a hidden gem, Vietnamese cuisine situated in a non-assuming place. I totally recommend this place and don't go by simple, a little run down place but the food is awesome. If you are a real foodie and do not really care for ambiance and white table cloth service, this is it. I am Def nicely going to be a regular customer.

We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

TBH, I've seen Pho Van in Beaverton Town Center for years and somehow never went in. My visit today…read morewas a complete accident, as I originally planned to have lunch at a newly opened Vietnamese coffee shop, only to find out ... they don't serve food in their Beaverton location.  So, in a moment of hunger-driven panic, I Googled and saw Pho Van right across the street and decided today was the day! As soon as I opened the door, I received a warm greeting. I was holding my Sea Salt coffee and awkwardly asked if I could bring it in. The staff said it was totally fine and guided me to a booth. What a relief! I looked around and was honestly impressed with the decor. The whole place has a post-WWII vibe, with an old-school scooter out front and 1960s music playing in the background. It felt cozy and charming, and I immediately thought, why have I been ignoring this place for years? When the server came back with water and condiments, I ordered a small Tai Nam Gau, pho no. 3, with round steak, flank, and fatty brisket. The food came out quickly, and it looked delicious. The portion size was perfect for a solo diner like me. I've been to other pho spots where the bowl looks like it could feed a family of four, and I always feel a little guilty leaving food behind. The broth was rich and comforting with good depth, and everything tasted fresh. The fatty brisket was my favorite, it was tender and flavorful. Just the right amount of indulgence. Overall, both the food and the service were solid. I went in by accident, but I'm so glad I finally discovered Pho Van.  I won't wait years before coming back again.

The exterior and interior is well-decorated and sets the ambiance well. The wooden bench seating was a bit hard and I had to hunch further to my bowl as a tall-ish individual. I got the pho bo tai nam gau as a small bowl, which was very filling. The broth is very hot when served but is so flavorful and warms you up just right. The noodles themselves are cooked just right and are a good texture. I finished my bowl so quickly. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Pretty disappointed at this place after my daughter brought me here for the first time…read more I ordered the Peach Fruit Tea with 50% sweet, light ice and Crystal Boba. Results- - Canned (not fresh) peaches used in drink. This may have caused weird aftertaste that does not have that familiar peach flavor like other places. - Flavor is way too sweet for 50%. - Light ice was done correctly When I walked away I quickly realized that they did not add my crystal boba toppings to my drink. I just had a few slices of lemons. After walking back to let them know, the girl who prepared my drink admitted to the guy that I questioned the issue about that she forgot to add it. No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again. (FYI- This exact location used to be Nobibi which quickly went downhill and this new business took over.)

Overall the service was satisfactory, nothing really to write home about either way. That being said I would have liked the food to be a bit more substantial for the prices. The pricing felt a bit high for what was served both in terms of substance and quantity. A final minor note is that I consider calling the Turmeric Fries "fries" a bit misleading considering that they are most definitely chips and that was more than a little disappointing when they came out.
