    73. HUE SPICY BEEF NOODLES Bún bò huế (BBH)
    Nicholas O.

Salt and Pepper Squid Light, thin, flaky batter that stayed crispy throughout. Well-seasoned and a generous portion size. Kept going back for more! Spring Rolls Crispy and fresh, but a bit underwhelming flavor-wise. The filling could've used more seasoning to really make it pop. Bun Bo Hue - BBH It was my first time trying and was really excited but left slightly underwhelmed. Despite the rich visual, the broth tasted surprisingly clear and bland. Mild spice level, thicker noodles, and good quality meat. I may choose to stick with pho or maybe give BBH another try somewhere else. The service was really fast and friendly. They seemed to have regulars that love them.

Love Pholandia! The restaurant is spacious with fast service. The vermicelli dishes are my go-to's. They have a nice variety, including clear noodles.

The lady who took my order said the "house sauce" was peanut sauce. She apparently does not know the menu.

When I ordered salad rolls with house sauce, they still gave me peanut sauce. She said the peanut sauce was their house sauce... I guess they don't even know their own menu.

Environment: Very spacious and everything looked clean. Staff: very friendly and accommodating. Food/drink: 1. My friend and I shared a Vietnamese coffee and we asked if we could reduce the sweetness. Usually other places say it's set and they couldn't but this place could! They reduced the amount of condensed milk added and it was the best! It was still a little sweet but the coffee was nice and flavorful, too. It was a great balance 2. I got a pho and asked if I could ask for tendon and beef brisket (since they didn't have that option) and they said yes and didn't have to pay an extra fee for that change. The soup base was nice, I wasn't thirsty afterwards and they had a good portion of tendon and brisket. It was very good! 3. The grilled chicken vermicelli was also very nice, too. The meat was charred and flavorful. Again, great portions and the veggies were very fresh. It was a great experience and I will come back again when I crave for Vietnamese food!

Ir is very clean and friendly. The food is good. Pho is really good.

This was my first time and I loved it. The people were nice, and very clean. I enjoyed this place and will be going back.

We went here on a random tuesday. We got seated quickly and accommodated to my toddlers needs and even had a separate menu for kids. The Food was delicious, Just wish they gave us a bigger portion of toppings. But overall I loved how this place had multiple plates to choose from not just Pho. Would definitely recommend and would be coming here again.

Yes we found a great Vietnamese restaurant on Canyon road. They have all of my favorite dishes. The main dish for us is the vermicelli bowl with chicken beef and shrimp, it is also served with veggies, fish or vegan sauce. The dish serving is huge and easily shared. We also ordered a side of fried egg rolls, they were amazing. The building is next to the Ford dealership. They have a large back side parking lot. Plenty of seating through and a side private room for an event. The staff were super friendly and very helpful explaining the different items and options within each dish. We will back.

I had a stressful week and needed a bowl of Pho. This restaurant is totally worth the 25 minute drive. This authentic Vietnamese Pho restaurant has an extensive Pho menu. You can also ask for a custom blend of ingredients. The ambiance is expansive with plenty of space between tables and booths large enough to seat 6 people. With cathedral ceilings the sense of airflow is so nice. I ask the waiter which Pho has the most tendon. He said #25 The tendon is soft and fresh here, the best in the Portland Metro area. The Pork & Shrimp with Lotus salad is amazing so fresh and crunchy. It comes with 4 shrimp chips. I'm going to have to come back for more.

The pho was really good and there's a lot of items on the menu to choose from. Also, also a lot of seats in the dining area. The service is really quick and the Super Bowl has a lot of noodles, meat and soup. Also very reasonable prices compared to pho nowadays.

When it comes to pho, it's all about the broth, and add the challenge of a la vegan, and flavors can vary as everyone takes their unique approach. this was such a refreshing take on vegan pho (or to be more exact, 42. Vegetarian Noodles)! it was the perfect balance of flavors: floral, not overbearingly sweet or oily, and well-seasoned. and the garlic chives were a nice touch :) if i had to offer some constructive feedback, it would be this: at this price point it would be nice to see some additional vegetables included like shiitake mushrooms, or herbs like thai basil as some other places provide. honestly though, i'm just nit-picking. definitely my new go-to for takeout when i could use a bowl of pho!

If you take away anything from this review - service here is super friendly and accommodating, especially for big groups. Thank you so much for being so flexible with our group and seating arrangements on a Saturday night! We came here to meet up with a group (11 adults and 1 toddler needing a high chair) I called for a reservation earlier that afternoon and everything was good to go. Bonus they were able to do separate checks for the different groups we had within the group too. Honestly I really appreciated the extra effort in service. They have their own parking lot with ample parking. The restaurant is bright and open and best of all nice and cool (an escape from this heat!) They have a big menu but everything is numbered for easy ordering with detailed descriptions of what the dish will be and the ingredients. I didn't take a picture of the calamari and chicken wings we ordered but they both came out hot, fresh, and crispy. The dipping sauce for the calamari was a little sweet and the sweet chili sauce for the wings had more citrus flavor and it just caught me by surprise. Their portion for their price is really good and of course you get all the accompaniments for your noodle soups (basil, bean sprouts, lime) Don't skip out on the plum drink - it was sweet and tart the perfect sip from the hot noodle soups. I will say that the pho broth had a different spice taste than what I've had at other pho places (not bad just different) I thought my Bun Bo Hue (BBH spicy beef soup noodle) didn't have as much of a deep flavor as I would have liked. However everything was still good and the rest of the group really enjoyed the food as well. We will probably come back on a rainy day to warm up with some of their pho and noodle soups in the future. Please come support this hardworking local business!

This restaurant is in the old Anthony's Greek restaurant space ( which was in an old Mexican restaurant space). I was dying to see the inside because it used to be pretty dated and run down.We came on a moving day, myself and two minions and grabbed a late lunch. It is so nice inside! Totally freshened up and it looks great! Two young people served us and they were fine, not particularly friendly or unfriendly. Neutral. We didn't see a lot of them and that was ok. We felt tired and antisocial. I didn't get pho, pretty sure the chicken pho has a beef broth and I am not into it. I ordered calamari ($13) to share which was really good btw, and Woven Rice Vermicelli with grilled pork ($18) which was delicious and fresh and huge so I took half home to the kid. I had a $2 can of diet coke. Minion one got a Moda Bowl - Vermicelli with lemongrass pork and shrimp and spring rolls for$16. He inhaled it with a Thai iced Coffee ($6). He was so happy he stopped talking. Unheard of. Minion three (minion one's little brother) had pho with chicken ($14).He liked it. We had to remind him how to eat it as it had been a while. He drank some kind of smoothie but I honestly do not recall what it was. Smoothies are $6. We were all happy. Everything was fresh, darn delicious, the right temperature.Good stuff. We will return. Remember when pho and Viet food was cheap though? I do. I am old, huh.

We loved the vegetarian pho here! The broth is savory and well seasoned and the quantity of rice noodles, veggies and tofu was plenty - definitely worth the price. We got the regular size but it still was big enough for 2 to share. The folks serving us were really nice and consistent with coming by and offering assistance, even with a lot of tables filled. They also have chili oil/sauce options in addition to sriracha to add more heat to it which they don't charge extra for. The inside is pretty spacious, lots of tables and great natural lighting as well.

Beautiful well lit dining room area!

For someone who eats a ton of viet food this place had no flavor, specifically the pho. Bun bowl was also mediocre.

By far the best milk tea I've ever had! We ordered the Guava Lemon Tea (50% sweet), Jasmin Milk Tea…read more(less sweet), and White Peach Oolong (50% sweet) and all the drinks were really good. There's a very nice tea flavor, not watery, and not milky either. I was sad the size that came with the combo was a Regular and really wanted more. I should've ordered one to go for the next day lol The food overall was good. We ordered the chicken stir fry noodles and the scallion noodles with pork, basil chicken, and the cucumber salad. The scallion noodles was too salty. And the basil chicken was dry (unlike boba spot, they used chicken breast I believe). Overall, enjoyed the chicken noodles stir fry and cucumber salad here. Service was great at the front. The young girls did a great job. The other girl working behind the counter could be a bit more friendly. Overall, cute place but could use louder music to set the mood a bit becuase I felt weird that it was so quiet. Would come back again for the milk tea if we are ever in town again.

I fell in love with boba tea almost 15 years ago when I taught at The Transfiguration School on Confucius Plz and since then, I try having it nearly everywhere I go. So when my daughter suggested we come here after a non-stop day of coffee table window shopping for her apartment during my Easter Break '24, this was the pause we seriously needed. Sharetea has an edgy and raw layout with concrete floors, cement-looking wall tiles and other industrial style touches. This is the place to chitchat with friends, family- like my daughter and I did- or even get a tea solo. But do know that when the queue is big, don't despair- it flows. In fact, when we were here, timing was on our side because it seems as if Sharetea rented(?) a small space upfront to a mini crotchet accessory pop-up shop run by a local artisan. I was loving it because as my kid and I waited for our drinks, I purchased 2 crotchet flower hair pins nicely priced. As far as our drinks go, our usual go-to flavors were insanely delicious.

The first photo I ordered a blended taro, paying more to add Oreo. It has no specs in it to indicate Oreos been added. I even confirmed at the counter and they said yes. But upon tasting it, no Oreo was added. In my second pic I ordered a blended matcha and you can see it's basically iced, with only the top being a bit frothy. The texture of the boba was good. The employees are not very friendly. Which isn't a big deal at at a boba shop but worth noting.
