We came on a Thursday 3pm way past the lunch rush so it was just us. We ordered the Pork Belly Bah-mi and Tri-tip French Dip. First the bread is really fresh. The tri-tip is tender, juicy, well marinated without being too salty. The au jus dipping adds an extra kick of savory meaty deliciousness. As for the bah-mi, the pork belly is super tender and surprisingly not greasy at all and goes super well with the pickled veggies. The sammies are a good size and came with kettle "chips". I saved half of mine for later. We also ordered a PB&J, a soda and a milkshake (12oz). On a Sunday afternoon, we experienced this location as mostly a "takeout" spot. Service was friendly. Counter service with delivery to the table. Water station near the door. There are about 7-8 tables. The menu is on a column. They have beer, wine, soda, milkshakes. We ordered the grilled cheese which seemed promising but would have been better with a sharper cheese in the 3 cheese mix. The Melter Skelter was tasty, but the chicken chunks threw it off a bit. I think it would have been better with thick slices of chicken. The turkey with thinly sliced tart green apple was the best. I know that people like to feel like they get their money's worth, but I would recommend taking off 1/3 to 1/2 of the turkey to balance the flavors better. The tomato bisque was a bit tart for my taste and would have benefited from more salt. Overall, we would return but probably would not drive out of my way to get here. read more

We were out South doing errands, when we spotted this restaurant on search. We had our orders to go, and had a little picnic in our car, over-looking the Beaverton City Park. My husband said about: "I don't know how they did it, but I would say the Pastrami Rueben sandwich was the best Rueben that I have ever had. And that is really saying something because I'm really old and I love Ruebens and have been ordering them all my life!" He ate the whole thing! We had Karver sandwiches for a work lunch today, and I would say the experience was alright. We put in an order of about 10 sandwiches, and I arrived a few minutes after the estimated pick up time. I ended up waiting another 15 minutes, which is understandable for larger orders. I then got 5 minutes down the road and was called to turn around because they had forgotten two sandwiches - perhaps something I should have checked, but also something I would hope would be verified by the team working. The people were nice though, and the food was good, so I would say overall it was good! Just know this is a busy spot and you may need to spot check your order if it's larger. read more

The selection was really extensive for this small a venue, but apparently they do a lot of catering. The staff are really pleasant and helpful, one of them walked me through their IPA selection which was helpful. He just grabbed the cookies we order with his bare hands, completely pressing his whole palm of his hand on my cookies. I have eaten at Karver three times and each time it is excellent! Today I had the cobb salad and I was so pleased that it had as much meat and cheese as it did lettuce. So often when I get a salad there are some toppings, but when all that's gone it's just a big bowl of lettuce. Not the case here. The service is excellent. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered an iced tea and someone came over when they saw I was almost done and offered to get me more. This is an unusual in a restaurant where people wait on you, but this is a restaurant where people come up to the counter to order. I usually sit outside which is very nice but now that the weather is getting colder, I will need to move inside. It's very pleasant inside and out.
