The drinks were good, but unfortunately, I didn't get the oat milk that I wanted. After the mix-up, they apologized and assured me that my drink had oat milk. It wasn't oat; I realized it after I had left. I have a problem with cashews, so I gave them to my friend. They were kind, and the inside was nice and quiet. The bowl was absolutely smothered in roasted red pepper sauce, which really should come on the side since it's such a large portion of sauce. We came back recently. I like the salmon bowl a lot and the smoothie that has coffee in it. That's my fav. It's yum I live in Los Angeles, so whenever I visit it like to go to this place. It's very healthy and the salmon is very high quality. The homemade sauces are good too. Friendly staff. It's a really nice place to sit because they have these really nice beautiful glass windows. The Celery is so freaking good. Tasty fresh food that doesn't make you feel terrible after eating it. This is my favorite smoothie spot. The people are nice and always working hard. Seems like there must be a neverending amount of stuff to do there because it looks nonstop for them. Inside is fine, they always have the door open on nice days and I like that. I was so happy to find this restaurant while I was staying at the hotel without a kitchen for a week. I always choose organic ingredients when cooking at home and it was such a pleasant surprise to find The Celery as it offers organic ingredients including the chicken, veggies, grains, etc. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that uses exclusively organic ingredients and I've been to lots of places especially in Portland. Great spot for a quick, healthy meal. I had the harvest moon grain bowl and falls creek juice. I really enjoyed the textures and flavors of the bowl. You get crunch from the cucumber and radish. The farro is chewy and nutty. Avocado for creaminess. Pickled onions for a sweet touch. The sauce has a pleasant kick and there was plenty to go around. They source the majority of their ingredients organically and locally, and they don't use anything pre-cooked - so for example the sauces are made from scratch. Basically, if you are trying to eat healthy, like for example after a workout nearby, this is a great option. The space has a warehouse style vibe, it feels modern and big and open and clean. The menu board is divided into sections, and the staff is happy to help recommend something if you are having a hard time choosing like I did. Prices are reasonable to high - juices range from $6-8.50, smoothies $8-9, grain bowls $11.50-15, salads $9-14.50, açaí bowls $10.50-12, oatmeals $7-7.50, immunity shots $4, and coffee $2.50-9. My Panorama Smoothie was good, especially for having such unusual ingredients as cauliflower in it. The peanut butter cacao oatmeal bowl was also just about as expected, though I would never say no to more peanut butter or cacao. For being made fresh it was really quickly prepared. Ok so I am giving this place 5 stars, because if I knew what I was "actually" getting, I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. My pharmacist said she was buying smoothies and started passing her phone around for everyone to order. I got the phone and didn't really see anything. Then i saw the Stumptown and peanut butter smoothie. I thought this should be good and ordered it. The first sip was peculiar. I got a very slight flavor of both coffee and peanut butter, but there was a watery odd flavor about it. I took another sip and put it down. I actually ended up dumping it out because I didn't care for the flavor. Later on I was advised that there was Cauliflower in it...there was probably other "healthier" veggies and probably some fruits in there too. I am usually a Jamba type smoothie man. The Celery is the perfect spot when I'm craving a healthy meal or a smoothie. Their menu consists of grain bowls, salads, juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls and oatmeal. My favorite is the grain bowls, which are each a perfect mix of fresh ingredients that are so delicious when all put together. These bowls are savory and very filling for the size. I've been here a few times without any issues, but my last visit wasn't great. I ordered the Harvest Moon Grain Bowl for the first time and asked to have the roasted red pepper sauce instead of the spicy peanut ginger sauce, which they said was no problem. After eating about 3/4 of my bowl and thinking this isn't something I would order again, I looked at the photo I took (for Yelp) and I realized that they put the original sauce on the bowl that I requested not to have. To make it worse, they left out the watermelon radish and the pickled red onion completely. After realizing this, I showed my photo to an employee and asked if it was supposed to include the ingredients that I thought was missing. She said yes and offered to remake my bowl, but I was already full :( It was such a disappointing experience to have paid for something, gotten something incorrect, and not compensated for it. But I guess I should've noticed something was wrong from the start. I'm sure I'll be back, but I would highly recommend checking your orders before you start eating or before you leave with a takeout order. read more

Awesome! So many restaurants are "organic whenever possible" (What does that even mean? Whenever it's convenient? Whenever it doesn't cost too much?), so I really appreciate that this restaurant has so many 100% organic menu items. I am on a rather limited diet, and they even worked with me to make a custom salad. I often can't eat at restaurants, and it was such a treat to be able to enjoy a meal with my husband.
