They have outdoor seating and a cute pickup window for to-go orders, but I definitely prefer sitting inside for the full experience. I ordered an iced matcha latte sweetened with honey, which was really good. For food, I got the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was LOADED. The avocado comes in bigger chunks, the creamy spread was delicious, and the corn added the perfect little touch of sweetness. All the flavors worked so well together. I also got a side of hash, which was a pretty generous portion. It needed a little salt for me, but they have salt and pepper right on the table, so easy fix. Little tip: ASK FOR THEIR GREEN HOT SAUCE. OMG. So much flavor! It's not overly spicy, just the perfect kick, and it made everything even better. I actually asked if they sold bottles because I would've taken a few home with me, but sadly they don't. They also have a selection of baked goods that looked great, so that's on my list for next time. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Hubs ordered the Ruiru 11 & SL28 Ruarai AA -- definitely acidic from the grapefruit & blackcurrant, but I personally didn't think it was worth $9 or that it tasted good. And onto dining in...we were seated at the bar/counter: -Hubs ordered the Turkish Eggs after the seeing it ordered from the party next to us. This was decent, very dill-heavy and quite a generous portion and served with pita bread. -I ordered the Hamachi Crudo and cleaned my plate! Loved this dish, though it was also pricey. -Aussie-Style Iced Coffee (with ice cream), we ordered this to try since I had originally thought Proud Mary Cafe served Australian coffee, but this was all I found on the menu related to Australia...it was good because what can go wrong with some coffee and ice cream? Restrooms were clean. Service was fair. We found street parking nearby around back of the restaurant in the neighborhood.

The drinks were good, but unfortunately, I didn't get the oat milk that I wanted. After the mix-up, they apologized and assured me that my drink had oat milk. It wasn't oat; I realized it after I had left. I have a problem with cashews, so I gave them to my friend. They were kind, and the inside was nice and quiet. I would definitely go back and try it again, and I do think it will go way better next time. This was my first time, which is why my opinion is a little low, but I do think it was just a one-time mess-up. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

The design is quite fun-- all along the walls are mounted a number of fishbowl-type glass containers that hold plants. It makes the place feel very cozy and brings some life and color into the room. The person working at the counter was lovely. She was super enthusiastic, asked us questions about what we were doing, and provided recommendations for places to check out in the area. She made our drinks very fast-- I don't think we had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The drinks were very good. I got their lemon tea, and my partner got the sea salt cream tea. Mine was nice and sweet, his was not sweet at all (to both of our preferences). The one thing I didn't love is that their tapioca pearls were very soft. I like a little more chew to my boba, but I know that's personal preference. Overall, we had a great time and the customer service was excellent.

I kept picking the nuggets out to eat them to figure out what they were really made of and couldn't. Crazy good. The GF crust is a bit spongy but I'll take it. It does a good job of holding the sauce without getting soggy and it was wonderfully crispy on the bottom and sides. And the cheese melted well on the edges and was appropriately crunchy there. I'm saying all of this now because I'm back in town and ordered the Bianca GF and that was another wonderfully satisfying pizza. The sausage crumbles on their own tasted more salty than anything, but combined with the ricotta...well, it worked out great. Two slices were more than enough for dinner. I think it's probably in how all of the flavors are blended that makes these pizzas work, because I couldn't figure out the source of the individual ingredients and definitely can't recreate this on my own.
