The hostess was very friendly when we walked in with compliments. We were seated promptly in spite of how busy they were on a Friday night. We placed our order quickly with the server, which was great. The server was friendly but not necessarily attentive, I had to flag her down a couple times. I also added shrimp to my pasta and they forgot it. The server went back to the kitchen and she brought out a side of shrimp to add to my pasta, it was good. Although the pasta dish did not need the shrimp. The portions are fairly large and I could not finish my dish, but I tried. We ordered the spinach artichoke appetizer and it was pretty amazing, soo good. Overall I enjoyed Pastini and would recommend them for a casual, intimate dinner. read more

I invited a friend from out of town to have dinner, expecting to take her to Frank's Noodle House, just a short distance away from Old Town where she was staying. Unfortunately, it was Wednesday and we didn't make it there before closing, so I needed to come up with another option, and thankfully, it was Pastini. While there are other locations, this one on Broadway was not only convenient, but the ambiance was perfect. Our server, Deana F., was well versed in their offerings, and we settled on linguine misto mare, and five cheese lasagna with meat sauce. I like to cook, but lasagna is best made when you have company, so I will have it when I'm eating out and skip all the preparation. The meals arrived quickly, everything was hot, and for two people who said earlier that we weren't all that hungry, we both ate everything on our plates, as good a recommendation as I could offer. I'm sure I'll be back to dine at this particular Pastini, but I'm also feeling pretty good about trying their other locations too. The next time I'll bring my camera inside the restaurant. They have a lot of options on the menu for different pastas and also some specials. We got the Parmesan garlic bread which was the star for sure. Loved how crunchy and garlicy it was! I have visited multiple Pastini locations and I would rank this one as my second favorite. I went here for a nice dinner with a friend. We had a very kind server who was constantly checking on us, refilling water and was genuinely so kind. We were seated quickly when we arrived and after ordering, the food came moderately fast and was delicious as usual. I would definitely visit this location again. The meatballs here are delicious! We came with a large group and they were able to accommodate us immediately, as the restaurant wasn't quite busy. I got the meatball appetizer and garlic bread - the meatballs were super soft and flavorful, and the sauce was also delicious. The garlic bread on the other hand felt like it was lacking some flavor and wasn't really well toasted. We also got the tiramisu for dessert which was quite delicious. After a much longer drive down from Seattle than originally expected, I was in need of a good meal. I saw the ratings for Pastini were good and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did, as it had a wide variety of different options available. In the end, I opted for the Bolognese with a side of Parmesan garlic bread. The food was excellent! However, the parking lot right next to the restaurant is a little confusing on how to pay with the app. If possible, I'd recommend parking on the street. Despite this, I was able to use the pay-by-phone option without issue. read more

Food was tasty. We had the bruschetta, and I ordered a special pasta, which was rigatoni and porchetta, with a sage cream sauce. The porchetta was a little too salty for me, but overall it was good. I had a strawberry balsamic soda, and the table shared several desserts. The cookie with gelato was the best, we thought, and the ice cream that came with the chocolate tartufo was better than the cake itself. The tiramisu was fresh, though not the best I've had. Stopped in here for a weekday lunch- excellent value, great food and warm service. I had the tomato basil soup and the linguine al Gorgonzola, and added chicken to it for extra protein. It was wonderful! The lunch special was $13 and you got a huge choice of entrees, plus either garden salad, Caesar salad or cup of soup. They have daily specials and it was "wine Wednesday" half off bottles of wine so I went with the Pastini Bianco- it was light and very refreshing, but not sugary or sweet. My table mate got the carbonara and tomato soup, as well as a dessert to go and she loved it all too. The host and wait staff were kind and personable, made it a really inviting atmosphere. It is a complete rip off and should just be called noodles and meatballs at this point. This meal was *chefs kiss*. I feel like restaurants say your pasta gets veggies and then gives you 1 pea, but this had so many veggies!! The amount of sauce was perfect too and it was not too creamy, which I was very glad about.
