Love how cozy this bar is! Dim lights and vibezzz. To eat I ordered "Trivia tots" and they were great! To drink, I got the spicy margarita and an IPA. Super cozy, hip atmosphere both upstairs and down. My friend and I hung out at the bar since trivia was going on upstairs and we just wanted to chit chat. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area looking for a quick stopover!

Great inner NE neighborhood bar where Beech St Parlor used to reside. Got the vibes of old Portland in a two story Victorian house. Great folks behind the bar. Alumni from Portland stalwarts like Por Que No and Brass Tacks (RIP). Serviceable Portland bar food menu with fun specials! Support the locals; go tonight!

Phenomenal food being put out in this very Portland little bar. Live music upstairs, a well stocked bar with great cocktails. This place is perfect for a date night!

Best bar in town! Great staff. Excellent food. Good vibes all around. They have rotating specials for cocktails and food that always slaps.

Five dishes for 2 of us was more than enough +2 dessert +2 drinks…read more The wasabi salad was good. Perfect dressing for my husband too much dressing for me. I really like the scallops. Not a fan of the jalapeño grits because the heat built up and I would like to have some bread to help cut the heat. Our absolute favorite was udon dish. Another dish where I wish I had bread too scoop up all the sauce. The Tonkasu sandwiches were way better than the place at Bridgeport. The beef check melted in our mouth - another dish. I wish I had rice with. Moral of the story, need carbs to make the meal better Beautiful ambience. Amazing service. We dropped the chopstick and they got us a new one before we asked. Was surprised they didn't give us new plates unless asked because mine was covered in all the different sauces and I didn't wanna mix the wasabi dressing with other dishes.

Food: 4/5 Service 3/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 This is a very cute spot for a nice girls dinner or date night. I brought my kid and it was ok but probably won't recommend it. I liked everything off the raw menu besides the mushroom handroll because the salt level was at about 300%. My fave was probably the yellowtail crudo. The raw stuff came out fairly quickly then we waited a very long time for the cooked entrees to come out. There was at least a 20 minute hiatus, which I did not appreciate. The server checked on us a couple times during the wait but it's just kind of awkward when the wait is that long. I was really looking forward to the duck duck rice because pictures on Yelp made it look like a crispy rice, if it was in fact, not. The udon was our absolute favorite. The snapper was also delicious but it came very late. The alcatra was just ok, I actually couldn't take much of the tomato flavor in it.

The front patio was a nice place to enjoy golden hour and our service was exceptional. My dad got a brandy alexander, mom got a piña colada on the rocks and later a pink lady, and I got something like a Negroni (they make Negronis but I asked the server to choose something interesting and the result was absolutely splendid). Cheers to the professionals who helped make our visit even more special.

Nice cocktail bar with quality cocktails and lively fun vibes…read more Highlights: - Nice curved bar that takes up most of the front room. Also a side room - Lots of cocktails on the menu in categorized sections (bright and crisp, rich and robust etc). Also has a 1 liner describing the cocktail as well - Vesper: went off menu with my go to and ones one of the better ones I had! 5 stars - Dream Weaver: enjoyed my first selection with pandan. 4 stars - Can make reservations which I always like to know I have spot. Thought they were only for the side room so was thrilled when we were in the main bar. - Fun music - Has a bites menu if you get hungry which I appreciate Midlights: - Bit dark to see the menu so used the handy candle nearby - Was on the top 50 best of North America bar list but in 2022 so it's been a bit Lowlights: - Doomsday Device: was in the spicy category with hot honey and peppercorn but was more of a mellow fruity cocktail to me where I didn't taste any spice - Didn't get to try any bites as we came from dinner but would have loved to try the 2 bite tostadas

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND…read more This was hands down some of the best food I've ever had. The server was outstanding and had us cracking up the whole time. ( guy in glasses) we came here for my husbands birthday and it was amazing service and food. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left everything was great!! The drinks were delicious. We ordered almost everything off the menu because we couldn't decide. The chicken was AMAZING. I can't wait to come back!

We were glad we came when we did...anyway, onto the food+drink! -Life of Luxury Cocktail, this thing was served in a HUGE fish cup, lol! Bigger than my hand/as big as my face. It's on the sweet side, but I needed something sweet as a buffer since some of the dishes we ordered were a bit too salty. -Thai-Style Ceviche, 11/10. No friggin' notes. I highly recommend. Portion is a bit small, because I could have eaten MORE. -Sweet & Sour Fried Chicken was decent. We ordered the Small and it was about 5-6 boneless pieces. Very unique. I recommend to try if you like fried chicken. -Wok-Fried Yu Choy was wayyyy tooooo salty. Hubs & I wanted some greens and it was fried with generous amounts of garlic, but it just got saltier and saltier as we ate it. -White Curry w/ Brisket Burnt Ends, this dish was a little bit of a mixed bag. The white curry (roasted cauliflower + coconut cream) was delicious, but did it pair well with the Brisket Burnt Ends? Not really IMO. I don't think the flavors match. I'm not exactly sure what would pair well with the white curry, maybe some veg or tofu...but BBQ fusion with the curry wasn't the best. 2 unisex restrooms available, the one I used was clean. Service was a little scattered. We got the Yu-Choy first, followed by the ceviche a few minutes later. But the Fried Chicken and White Curry took a while to come (about another 10-15 mins. to come). We were lucky to find some street parking in the neighborhood nearby.

Although it was a slower day that food came out so quick and it was hot, you can tell it was made of fresh to order. The burger tasted very charbroiled. Also enjoyed that the fries had a lot of seasonings. I'm a girl who loves ketchup and I was able to eat these fries dry. Very tasty meal! Olympia Provisions is consistently one of our favorite places to frequent in PDX. Great location,…read morefun ambiance, pleasant staff, fabulous food! We are typically brunch people, making it here most often on a Saturday or Sunday for a late brunch. Their benedicts are to die for... truly, they're all wonderful. Their Laser Potato is out of this world. Truly, my favorite item on their menu. It is fabulous in all ways. I often take a side of it home just to enjoy later. We recently tried them for dinner. Their muscles are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Truly, the best I've ever had. This beats living in the southeast on the coast, any west-coast seafood restaurant, and every place I've ever enjoyed in Italy. They've certainly topped the muscle game. Highly recommend Olympic Provisions. I will gladly vouch that the negative reviews are from the haters, just to hate. The overall experience has never been anything less than fantastic. Photos to follow (hopefully, if I can find them! HA!) Enjoy OP next time you're in PDX!
