I just fell in love. And I went in soft and dry. Friends asked me to join them on a Monday night for karaoke. Ok, in the way back I had a group I would karaoke with but slowly our places closed, switched locations, changed crowds and it just was not great. The few spots I like are very crowded. This was such a great night. Crowded enough to be uplifting (seriously great crowd of awesome people) but not too many to be overwhelming. The Halloween AND Christmas vibes were pretty great. Made respect for first mounting a coffin on the ceiling, second - shoving a disco ball in it and, third... lighting it up like a freaking unicorn. Thanks to everyone putting in unique songs with a special shout out to the gent who put in sex Dwarf AND Too Drunk To Fuck... bravo... And, of note... I was having a less than stellar night with mobility but I didn't have a difficult time at all! It's a very straight forward space without crazy obstacles and the 'stage' area has a small step up. Came here the other day for lunch and I'm already planning my return! What acute unique " lively " place!! (Saying this for the coffin) Came in on a rainy day, the person behind the bar gave us menus and let us sit where we wanted to. The booths are so retro and cute also extremely clean! I definitely want to come back and make some photo content the place is so unique and fun to look at. When we were ready to order, we walked up to the bar. I forgot what burger it was, but had faithful in the name ordered our drinks. They made our drinks right then in there and we sat down with a number on our table. Although it was a slower day that food came out so quick and it was hot, you can tell it was made of fresh to order. The burger tasted very charbroiled. Also enjoyed that the fries had a lot of seasonings. I'm a girl who loves ketchup and I was able to eat these fries dry. Very tasty meal! This place has a vibe and I'm here for it. It's cozy and there's a coffin hanging from the ceiling!! The menu design is super cool, I tried the spaghett drink which was really good, it's a miller highlife with aperol and a lemon. We went during Christmas and it was decorated so well. I came here on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. I was trying to fit the vibe as I was not in a good mood. Sad panda. However, after coming here though that helped put me in a better mood. I had two cocktails while I was here. I got the brave Marion, manzanita, and also some tater tots. Both of the drinks were very flavorful and well-made. The tater tots were a huge basket for eight dollars. Definitely enough to share. However, when you die alone, it doesn't matter and you can have as many as you want. That's a bonus of the single life. I did like that I could pick my sauces which I got a vegan sriracha sauce for dipping. The tater tots are gluten-free, but there is cross-contamination in do to the fryer for those who also are gluten-free. The bartender was friendly and also helpful. We came in for the Summer of slushies. There were 2 choices of summer slushies available. Alcohol or no alcohol. We sat at the bar and it was very dim lighted establishment. The slushies was good. I had the non alcoholic one. Frozen slushies on a summer days are definitely good. They have a photo booth too at the corner of the establishment. Service was attentive. A nice big restaurant/bar. Enough seating for everyone. They had booths and tables available for your choosing. Street parking only. It's in an area where there are other restaurants nearby. read more

Cute vibes for a more divey type bar. There's a casket suspended from the ceiling with a disco in it. It was right up our alley. There were movies playing on a tv and projector in the space. This place has unique decorations and the food tastes great. I have green salad with chicken added to it. It's a lot for me to eat. Maybe I should have a small salad next time instead of having bigger one. The music and lighting also make this place feel unique. We scanned the menu and ordered at the bar. Found this place on yelp, first coming in I loved the vibe but that quickly went away. The bartenders name we ordered food and drinks through was Sunshine, which he severely lacked LOL. Maybe because the bar name is sad? Anyway We sat at the bar top but had to get in line to order drinks because he did not come by and check on us. He's also looking at a "cheat sheet" for specialty drinks so maybe he is new? Doesn't matter. We got cry baby shots, not bad! Then tecate's, my friend got the Mexican squirt with tequila, it was exactly that it was. Angel wings I ordered, the dipping by sauce was so Light it literally tasted like nothing, the wings were not spicy, too much cumin and skin rubbery. My friend got the BLAT add fried chicken, his fries came out cold, the service was so slow we decided to not say anything and just air fry it at home later. Came here for sandwich week, where they offered the Birds of Pray. This thing was packed with a mashed potato gravy and fried chicken, a unique combo that worked really well. Monkey is what brought us in, but Cody has always kept us coming back! I loved Neon Boots, but there's blatant rip offs of it in Seattle if you're into that. Absolutely worth every train ride and/or Uber from Seattle and back. Literally my favorite bar in all of the PNW. Due for another trip - maybe even a move at this point. It's an open space that is clean and the decor is unique. I really liked it, well put together. The bartender was attentive and kind. The menu was small, like very small. Here's where I got impressed tho - I ordered a sandwich asked for no bun. The cook himself came out to ask me if he could alter my food in another way. I agreed, and was so glad I did. This was a stop for our girls night out on Saturday. I made a Yelp account because I can't stop thinking about this bar. The service was good. You could tell everyone who works here really enjoys their job, and that's always a good sign. Everyone I interacted with seemed genuinely happy - although maybe they should be more "sad". I got a POG drink that was delicious and my friend said the martini was yummy. We didn't get food because we ate across the street. I had been waiting for this spot to open and glad to say the wait is worth it! The first thing I noticed that this place is a funeral home theme and they nailed it. On the cieling sits a white coffin with a rotating disco ball in it. The bar area has some really colorful cieling lights and all if the walls are in this almost Florida like pastel. The tv was playing the original Poltergeist movie followed by some other 80's horror. In the back is a taxidemied fox and a photobooth near the bathrooms. Moving to food and drinks. I ordered a mocktail with ginger which they came up with something that worked well. The quesadilla was very impressive. The size was great for almost three people and had delicious cheese with broccoli and peppers. Came here to check the place out after the great reviews. The space itself is really cool--fun theme, super awesome interior and fun horror movies playing. The service was good--but there was only one person behind the bar when we were there. We ordered fries which were good--but maybe could have used another minute in the fryer. The cocktail selection looked good; we ordered two different ones. Both were waaaaay spirit forward. One was supposed to have apricot liquor and lime--both seemed completely absent. In fact, it tasted closer to a gin and tonic than what was described in the menu. Another drink we ordered had marionberry listed but it was more for color than for taste. If the cocktails could find some flavor balance and not be so boozy, I would come back in a heartbeat. read more

Service is slow (same as other bars) and the seating configuration is incredibly odd with almost exclusively booths. It seems like they can't decide if they're a bar, a party spot, or a restaurant and kinda tried for all 3. Drinks are weird and some were very tasty. They're trying very, very hard to be unique with their drink menu - for better or worse. Wouldn't recommend for a date night but might be ok for a small group that can fit into a booth (that's most of their seating) if you can overcome the awkwardness of the vibes. read more
