Waited to try this place and it did not disappoint!Price is mid - premium (not fine dining expensive yet) however large portion size and creative flavor pairings you don't see anywhere else make up for it. My partner and I got full after two appetizers and we enjoyed everything and were able to nibble and bring the rest back as leftovers. Their chickpea panisse (chickpea fries) dish blew me away. Their kale salad appetizer was fresh and larger than expected. Eggplant sandwich was well constructed and had good flavor but didn't stand out as much as their other dishes. Their corn and shishito risotto was so yum and special. While that dish was one of the more pricey ones at $26, the portion size and cooking talent more than made up for it. The champagne tiramisu was a bit heavy and took a few bites to get used to, however we ended up loving it. It's something that's well paired with hot water or tea. Adelleda took over the old Flour Bloom space and has completely made it their own. Parking around here is definitely limited, but it's worth it! You might already know them from their food cart, Unwind on Belmont, right next to Company - that's how I first discovered them. My partner and I used to go there all the time because we loved their dairy-free pasta options. I actually didn't realize the restaurant was fully vegetarian until we started ordering appetizers. My friend immediately noticed the Brie wasn't traditional dairy brie - but honestly, as someone who's lactose intolerant, I really appreciate having so many delicious dairy free options! I came here for my birthday last year during their second weekend of being open, and I've been a fan ever since. My daughter and I went to Adelleda for brunch on Sunday and it was fabulous. Each item on the menu was so enticing we had a hard time choosing. The Honus Wagner - chicken and waffle style fried oyster mushrooms over waffles with truffle syrup, was incredible. The ultra crispy mushrooms paired so well with the syrup and waffles. The Bobby Bonilla beet pastrami sandwich was a many layered flavor bomb. Such a great play of textures and spices. And Mr. 350 was the best version of chilaquiles I have ever had. Better than any in Tucson. We got to sample brioche straight from the oven and are still dreaming about it. Slathered in house made vegan butter and, no shame, dunked in that truffle syrup. There Will Be Blood was a mighty fine Bloody Mary but the Pina Caliente blew my cocktail loving mind. Smokey from the mezcal, spicy and smooth as pineapple silk. Huge kudos to the mixologist!!! It is very cozy inside (and quiet, despite the car traffic outside) and great for a special occasion. In fact, it was my birthday and the staff really made me feel at home. But onto the food! I couldn't resist the mozzarella sticks, but also ordered the pear salad and gnocchi. Everything was lovely. The mozzarella sticks were perfection and the gnocchi really lived up to its reputation. This review is of their brunch, not dinner menu. The space is beautiful and stylish, the service was warm and attentive. The cocktails were tasty and a nice selection of wine by the glass. But the food- yikes. We ordered three different sandwiches and a salad. Everything was a weird combination of greasy yet dry. Tempeh was flavorless, salad was just basically big kale leaves with a few croutons and a little dressing. I've been dying to check out Adelleda, the new spot in the downtown east side, so I finally swung by during lunch. Word to the wise if you are eyeing their pasta dishes: they serve a brunch menu during midday hours, so the pasta isn't available yet! Chef's kiss to the food and cocktail at Adelleda! I was a huge fan of Unwind when the food cart was located at Company in SE Belmont. I love how the restaurant has been transformed from Flour Bloom into a Adelleda. The food was so delicious! We started off with the beet salad. The salad tasted like bacon, which was unexpected, but delicious. There was espresso yogurt inside the salad, and it was so tasty especially with all of the natural ingredients. The fried mozzarella melts in your mouth. I definitely recommend the winter sangria because there's a cheese plate for one that you can get samples of their cheese instead of getting a cheese board for two. The work hard definitely had a strong orange zest to the cocktail and there was a coffee bean inside the ice. The pasta dishes were delicious as always and I felt like the portion was huge!! The bucatini was my favorite, but I also loved how the Parisian gnocchi was dense and flavorful. I really tasted the rosemary sauce along with the fresh hazelnut and cranberry. It was very delicious. Overall, I can't wait to go again. It's definitely an ideal time for an upscale dinner. read more

Gets a little noisy when full but still able to hold a conversation. Came here for the food and was not disappointed. Olives were amazing a huge portion. Sunchoke small plate was tasty, though not as pasty as the fried Brussels with kohlrabi relish and sumac. Salty and umami and infinitely snackable. We sampled two pastas: agnolotti and fusilli. I'd never had agnalotti before (or even heard of it) and was blown away. Soft chewy pillows of pasta stuffed with cheese, a little like a ravioli but totally different shape and texture experience. Highly recommend. Wasn't planning on cocktails but after seeing the menu couldn't resists. The maize and cane was a show stopper. Coconut corn cream? Sounds weird, tastes amazing. Had a fantastic dinner here with my partner for my birthday. The space is just gorgeous and so aesthetic. The hostess sat us and even had a little birthday hat for me which was a super nice touch. We ordered drinks. I made sure my partner order the martini that come with an entire plate of delicious veggies. One of the coolest parts of this is the cheese stuffed olives it comes with; a thing dairy-free people have most likely never tasted. He said he would order this again in a heart beat. For my drink I had the Travel More which is essentially a Mai Tai and I was very happy with that. For starters we got the fried squash sticks and the arancini, both incredible. Still trying to figure out the flavor of the dip they came w the squash, but it was fab. For entrees we had the fussili and the bucatini. The fussuli was SPICY but so good you can totally power through the spice. The bucatini had an amazing creamy, peppery sauce. The portions here are MASSIVE! Beautiful space with a neat lounge and bar. Service was incredibly slow/ inattentive and sounds like they had staff out so will let that one ride. The cocktails were lovely. I had the North Star which was their version of an old fashion but with hazelnut and walnut hints. My friend had an apple yard which was also good. Started with bread, arancini, Brussels and a beet salad. All excellent. The Brussels weee the best I have had in a long time with an interesting kolarabi crunch on top. we should have stopped with the small plates and drinks. The rigatoni was bland with an odd texture. Only thing good was bits of delicata squash. Nothing else in it. My friend had the gnocchi which was a better flavor, but again just so plain. Dessert was also not worth it. Tiramisu was a dry and dense cake with thick very hard butter cream. The carrot cake was more like an apple flavored dense muffin. read more

I feel so thankful to have been able to check out Adelleda on their opening night. Located inside the new Vtopian location, the ambiance is cozy and intimate. They have a beautiful little library to enjoy, along with a wide variety of vegan cheeses and treats. The staff here were all super friendly and attentive. My family and I tried various dishes. Each dish was unique and thoughtfully put together. Made with seasonal ingredients, each dish was fresh and tasty. One thing I was particularly disappointed with, however, was the lack of mushrooms they used. I found myself digging to see if they may have forgotten to add any only to find a few very small cut pieces. At a higher price point, I would have liked to have more vegetables in each dish too. Overall, my experience dining here was enjoyable and I would consider dining here again in the future. read more

My partner and I stopped in last night. We never got to try the food cart and have loved their cheese for years and have bought frequently from their old cheese shop and farmers markets. We also love the refillery. The owners don't shy away from their stance on social and political injustices. So we love to support them as much as we can. All of that to say we had dinner last night and was a little disappointed. I want to start with the good things first. Last night we popped in and were warmly greeted. We were sat and everyone that came by our table was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Service was impeccable. The vibes are killer! It's moody and feels upscale without being stuffy. It felt very Intentional and as if a lot of thought was put into every detail. We ordered wine so I can't attest to the cocktails but we saw plenty go by and they looked delicious. Now the not so great things. We didn't love the food. We ordered: Honey nut squash fritters Arancini Rigatoni The fritters aren't a typical fritter I'd say. Shaped like a mozzarella stick it didn't have much flavor. The oil flavor was quite powerful. The aioli also had a strange flavor to us. The arancini was probably my favorite thing of our order. They sat in a bowl of red sauce and had shaved cheese over the top. I'm not sure if it was intentional but the sauce was cold which we found a little off putting with the warm ball. But that could just be a personal preference. The rigatoni was our biggest disappointment. It had a little bit of a soapy taste? It would come and go. The squash in that dish was so yummy though. I could have had a bowl of just that. Like I said I hate leaving a mid review but we just weren't a big fan of our food. I think it's especially disappointing when you've spent a decent amount and leave feeling let down. We were told upon sitting that it was the first day of their new menu so maybe this one was just wasn't for us. I would come back for a cocktail or a glass of wine because like I said the vibes were lovely and the staff are so kind. Maybe a small plate. But I'm not sure I would go for a full dining experience again. Also layer up in there so you can take layers off. It was so hot in there. The food is familiar and phenomenal. My wife and I ordered the cheese plate for two, the smoked apricot salad, the fusilli and rigatoni. I opted to add porcini mushrooms and tempeh to my rigatoni, which I'd highly recommend. Every dish was extraordinary. The smoked apricot salad was tangy with a hint of mesquite. The cheese plate was eclectic, decadent, and ample. Additionally, my rigatoni was cooked al dente, with a bright pesto, toasted pine nuts, succulent mushrooms, tempeh, and vegetables. Finally, our server, Matt, was funny, ingratiating, and really responsive. It was the best service and meal we've had in a long time, probably since our last visit to Plum Bistro.
