Any new restaurant needs time to work out the inevitable opening wobbles. Even if they've had soft opening events, it is simply so that you can't absolutely know what works and what needs to work better until you've been had real customers and peak time demands placed on kitchen and staff. So I was willing to cut Worthy a considerable amount of slack up to now. But by now they've been open nearly four months. They ought to be doing a better job in food. At this point, I feel like they are expecting their customers to pay for the kitchen's learning curve. Tilt. AMBIANCE: There are things here that can't be fixed for ambiance. The inside seating is unfathomably uncomfortable for backsides. The aiselways are too tight (actually that one is easily fixable if aisleside chairs at sardine can tight tables along the window wall were removed.). The noise level can be uber loud, even when the place isn't uber full. So it goes. SERVICE PROCESSES: That the service staff is always friendly is a thing that works and I hope they can retain it. But the inexplicable delays in getting the food from the kitchen to the tables, even when they're not busy, needs attention for process. FOOD: After go backs here, it seems fair to expect that four months post opening issues with food consistency and focus would be resolved. A thoughtfully designed menu holds real promise. But pizzas arrive under baked, soup arrives lukewarm, supposedly oven roasted Brussels sprouts arrive barely cooked. (Side note: Inedible, in fact. Being a recycling type, rather than send them back to the kitchen to meet their demise, I took them home and shredded them for a raw slaw. Seriously.) Salads fare best here, nicely dressed fresh ingredients but small in size while big in price. THE UP SIDE: There is good news though. 1) Seasoning levels on the food seem just right. 2) The outdoor patio has a lovely view. I imagine it will be a happening place for 30 something and younger age demographic who like to hang at breweries, in particular in evening hours. BOTTOM LINE: This may be simply a matter of different strokes for different folks. I don't drink beer but I do go to brewpubs to eat the food. Reviews are just personal opinions in the end and in my opinion this is not a place worthy (pun intended) to recommend. For now. I remain open to changes making me once again a fan. read more

Worthy Brewing has big brewing and pub operation. Indoor seating has nice, high ceilings and view into the big patio area. They had live music outside when we came on Sunday afternoon, plus it's dog friendly on the patio. Our food didn't take too long and the beers were pretty good. Overall my group was happy. Based on my beer flight ($10 for 6 four ounce pours) and the fried chicken sandwich, I would come back here, though the $2 up charge for Caesar salad seemed a little pricey given the small portion of salad. Other than that, I really enjoyed their kolsch and the imperial IPA, though I'm usually more of a stout fan. Definitely check it out this place out if you're in the area. read more

Good beer coupled with a full bar is hard to complain about, especially when the burgers are quite delicious. Where the pub tanks is their bathrooms: disgusting plunger hanging out in the corner, toilet paper all over the floor and overflowing waste baskets. Parking was tough to find but there was weekend parking on the east side. Walking towards the door there was freshly picked hops and many more herbs and flowers which they actually use in their food! We were sat down outside with a live band warming up. Our group received drinks in a timely manner and had time to look through the menu, however my only complaint was not getting refills on our beers and water very quickly, but it was understandable with how many people were there at that time. I ordered the Magic Bus Burger with the Coconut Clam Chowder as a side for a dollar extra for a total of $16. One of my friends ordered Friend of the Devil Fried Chicken Sando and had a hard time finishing it due to the texture and taste of the chicken. Overall it was a good place with a great atmosphere and exceptional food. I will definitely be back, but will not be dining with the devil. read more

We love this place. The atmosphere is so fun and the food is great. The service is always top notch. The beer is very good, according to my husband. I usually have kombucha or ginger beer. Can you believe it? They serve kombucha! Yay!! The outside of the business is an experience in itself. They have beautiful gardens that they use in their food that they serve. There is indoor seating, but the outdoor seating is more fun. It has a covered patio with a stage where they have events. There is also a Hopservatory! A tower with a telescope where you can look at the planets and the stars and drink beer. Or kombucha. How cool is that? I would rather stop at a 7-11 for beer and food than go back to Worthy. This was my 3rd visit to Worthy Brewing and I was ignored for a good 20 minutes while at my table as I watched the waitress walk by numerous times and serve other tables. When the waitress finally came by, I was told very rudely that I was in the wrong seating area (even though the hostess seated me where I was at). I literally paid the price for a mistake by a hostess. Maybe it was a bad waitress having a bad day, but I won't be back. read more

This was a decent brewery, though I have to admit, I'm not the world's biggest IPA fan. It seemed that their goal was to imbue as many hops and bitterness into their beers as possible. Which is a shame, unless that's your thing, of course. It is clearly not my thing. Still, their brews were quite varied, so I found a couple that I liked. It was just a tad underwhelming considering the number and quality of breweries in the area. I really want to go back when the observatory is open. (It was smoky out, so it was closed when we went). But, they have a patio and a couple of dining rooms. That somehow still wasn't enough, and it was a pretty hefty crowd for a Thursday night. All the same, we were sat relatively quickly, and our servers were pretty attentive. The food was mixed. The Brussels sprouts were amazing; perfectly deep fried and delicious. I could have eaten a plate of them myself. The rest of the noms were... okay... I guess. The wings were solid, but the sauces were kind of blah. I'd probably go back, especially to check out the observatory. But, I will be very picky about the beers I try. read more

What a cool spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I would return for the ambiance. The pizza was not great, it arrived cold and was not worth trying again (from 4 different guests). The service was very slow, noted by the five I dined with. The beer was great and priced right, according to my company. I had a ginger cider that was pretty interesting. The indoor temperature was so cold we couldn't enjoy our meal. We asked our sever if they could adjust the temperature, they could not. I would opt to sit outdoors next time and order different food items as the menu is vast. read more

We have been coming to Worthy since they first opened and have always had the best experience. It's a must on our list whenever we visit Bend. Fantastic atmosphere, great food and drinks. The place is very clean and the staff was always super nice!! They have a awesome garden out front in the way. And I am pretty sure they use for drinks and possibly food!! I am not sure why this place has some negative reviews maybe we got lucky or maybe they upgraded some stuff. But what ever it was it made for a great time for us. Pre-Covid we used to go to Worthy and I always enjoyed it, both the beer and the food. Now, things seem to have changed. Facility is still nice, we ate outside and the social distancing was fine. I still like their IPA. Service, well, this is Covid time so I recognize you are going to have to put up with some limitations (and we were there on a Thursday evening which is not a super busy time). But the food has gone downhill. I used to think their burgers and fries were really good. Now both are at the best ... really average. Menu is pretty limited as well. Plenty of good restaurants in town, so you might give something else a try. read more

What has happened at Worthy? As a local I really enjoy the beer and Juan's food. We eat at the taco shop every week but for some reason over the past 40days the hostess team at The Big Worthy SUCKS. Not the bartenders or the wait staff but the Fxxking host is rude and condescending. I get that you are a hot ticket but this was my last try. Twice in two weeks and both times pissed me off. I have recommended Worthy in the past to people visiting and will continue to do so for the taco bar. But color me done. Waited over an hour for our food. Our table, which had young kids, was poorly attended to. When the food finally came, we had to ask for our bill and to-go containers. The food runner was perplexed that we were asking for our food to go. He returned with only one box instead of two. My wife had to hunt him down for the second one, and he told her "I'll get around to it." What? We told you we had to go NOW because it took so long for the food to come! If a huge restaurant like this hasn't figured out how to move food out of the kitchen to its massive crowd, then they need to reevaluate their capacity. I used to think this place was fun. Will not return unless things change. They've just grown too big for themselves. The food? Tastes fine at home after 30 seconds in the microwave, but it was nothing special. Tired of making excuses for Worthy I love Worthy beers. I love the Worthy waitstaff. But I am tired of making excuses for Worthy. I live just down the road and I have been coming here since day 1. I take all of my friends and family here when they come to visit. But I think I need to stop. Today I went with my wife, daughter and mother in law. We waited for over an hour for a table....while half of the tables sat empty. I wish I could say this was a fluke, but this has happened way too many times for me lately. I can only think that its the management to blame. Just seems like they are too understaffed. And on 4th of July weekend no less. How do you not anticipate needing a full staff on 4th of July weekend?!?!? I hope they can get their shit together. So much potential. And as I said before, love the beer, staff is very friendly and food is usually quite good. Braving a summer Saturday night without a reservation, my wife and I decided to give dinner out at Worthy Brewing a shot, a place we've known about for years but had never thought to try. And that's partly because we are high-maintenance diners with annoying restrictions. We eat a VERY low carb diet do dinner out isn't easy. We were seated immediately and our waitress, Vanessa, took amazing care of us. Special requests about the wine, substitutions on the items ordered, all no problem at all with her. I am a Bend native. I have eaten at Worthy a number of times (pre-covid). The experience here is a lot different than pre: Ordering: either YOU walk up to the bar and order, which is more expensive but easier, OR one uses the QR code on the table itself to order with Apple Pay and only Apple Pay. We went to the bar. I ordered the bacon burger with a caesar, husband ordered the Baxter burger with fries. The Lights out Stout is not on the menu but you can still order it..my favorite...so I did. YUM. Husband ordered Hopzen IPA. Meh. Our food showed up and my caesar was not quite a caesar..floppy Romaine lettuce not the hearts. Bummer. Hamburgers were both good, nice, thick hamburger and great (Sparrow) bun. Service was not there..except for the initial walk to the table and delivery of food. I felt as tho Worthy had turned into a self-serve restaurant. I don't blame them, yet paying $15- each for a burger with very little service is hard to swallow. We stopped in after the PPP to celebrate and Worthy was the perfect choice. We were seated reasonably quick considering how busy they were and had great service. We even had a surprise visit from the chef asking if we'd be interested in trying out a new wing recipe (they were Thai or Asian something or other...I wish I could remember what it was called since it's not on the menu currently) and they were DELICIOUS!!!
