I was very apprehensive about this company after reading the yelp reviews, but honestly, it was the complete opposite experience. I feel those negative reviews were meant for another company and mistaken for this one. I only say that because of how my items were packed. They used different materials from those negative photo reviews. Worldwide Moving & Storage packed me out in August. I just got my shipment delivered. There was NO damage! You hear all these horror stories about moves, but to my understanding, things do happen. I did mentally prepare myself that some things might get damaged a little since it's going over seas. But I was shocked! My overall experience was wonderful. It all started with the office ladies, everyone I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. I had so many questions since this was my first over sea move. I was very nervous and anxious. The crew members that packed me out were very patient and understanding with my demands. I had to apologize to them and explained how nervous I was. They made me laugh and feel comfortable. They took care of all my big fragile items (like my glass tv stand shelf) and used cardboard plus the brown paper to give it extra protection. They disassembled my bigger furniture and wrapped everything in that brown paper and for my smaller items they wrapped them in a white paper and placed them in boxes. Everything was labeled by room and made it so easy for me when it got delivered. The office even gave me a courtesy call the day before just reminding me about my move and gave me an ETA. I hate to move. No, really. I hate packing up, straining my back, unpacking, organizing, deciding what to keep, what to throw away. On my last move, I decided I wanted to save my back some stress, so I contacted Worldwide. They first sent out someone to give me a quote; he asked a series of straight forward questions, looked through everything in the house and garage, and then gave me a reasonable quote. On moving day, the crew showed up. They were careful packing things up (far more careful then I would have been), they were friendly, helpful, and courteous. They labeled and inventoried all of the boxes. A couple of pieces of furniture that had to be disassembled, they should me how to reassemble. DO NOT USE!!! Maybe if they are packing an delivering locally it might be ok....might be. If your'e shipping to the mainland or international STAY AWAY! Your items will be just thrown into boxes, furniture will be dented, broken, scratched and scraped up. If you do use their services spring for the extra insurnace because your items 100% will be damaged. It will be worth it. You've been warned! NEVER TRUST THEM. They are brokers who works with shitty secondary companies. They did an great estimate for me and said they had the best movers and very professionals. As soon as you pay the first fee the nice person never picks up you phone call again and they schedule your moving as they wish, not on the day you asked. The day they came to pick up my stuff, my estimate ran 500 dollars extra + the "tips" they asked, of a 100 dollars. I did not go through with this company for moving. I started the experience and talked with a nice rep, we talked on and off for a few days before I decided to pay their holding fee. I thought all was great and relaxed thinking I had the moving portion of the move planned. A week before I found out we were going to be gifted an appliance, but I did not say we were going to move with one on our original consultation. I quickly e-mailed the rep about it and if it would be an issue, they told me no it'd be fine, and I'd get a call to re-go over what inventory we had to move and I could add the appliance in at that time. I got a call about 47 hours before they were set to come pick up our belongings to go over our inventory. There was a lot of back and forth, I got a message to call back and we set up a time that was 4+ hours later (after regular business hours), the person to go over the inventory was another 30 minutes late to the scheduled call back time. During that phone call the worker got very irate and irritated when I was going over what we had to move, he changed the price of their "binding contract" by a few more thousands of dollars. When I was questioning him about it he started berating me and towards the end he started yelling at me. It was at that point I cancelled them coming and told them I needing to be refunded the deposit (I am still waiting on the deposit being refunded). This put me in a bind as we were scheduled to move 2 days from then and I had to find new movers or something out asap. The trucking company United World Wide Moving and Storage was using in my local area called because they wanted to try and keep the move. I had them come over and after talking with them and looking up their information I was not happy at all with the company, I didn't feel safe or think my things would be okay or make it to our next home. Overall, I'm glad I finally listened to all the red flags about this company and decided to cancel their service, I feel much better about my belongings now. read more

I highly recommend Worldwide Moving & Storage they came out to move my belongings. The crew was very efficient, friendly, fast, and organized. I read the reviews and I have no clue what these people are complaining about. I am very pleased with my move. From scheduling (there's no fee to book with them), to the office contacting me, to the movers, then to them collecting all the boxes and materials. The office staff was really friendly and helpful also. I got to pick the date that fit my schedule (I was lucky due to it being the slower season for them to have more flexible dates available, but knowing that summer is the busiest them for ALL moving companies and I know I the scheduling would be tighter. They answered all my questions & concerns, and made me feel very comfortable to move with them. The crew was very respectful and went above and beyond to accommodate my request. Because of their hard work I bought them lunch and drinks, and boy they was very appreciative. I had NOTHING broken or no damage to my home. They are getting one star because I couldn't give them 0 stars. This company is horrible. I paid extra to pack my flat screen TV correctly and when I received it it was broken. They also lost HALF my belongings and damaged a very expensive bed. When contacted they blew us off and did nothing. They never made it right. Use this company at your own risk!!!!!! read more

We thought this was going to be a great experience using this company PCSING from Hawaii to Colorado The three gentlemen were polite. We bought them coffee, breakfast and Gatorade because they were working so hard and quickly. This was day 1.Day 2 they seemed to take many more breaks and moved slower though it was less to pack. Okay, still not a big deal. We thought it was a tad off they literally took apart EVERYTHING in our house. I even asked, should you be taking all that apart, it was packed like that moving to Hawaii. They assured us that was the way it should be done and to not worry. We just got our household goods today and I want to cry. Our couch is completely broken from them taking it apart. My record player that was given to me by family was packed with hand weights, completely destroyed. Who does that!? Tons of our furniture is scratched and dinged. We just started unpacking and I'm scared what else I may come across. I do NOT recommend this company. Yes, they are fast but your house hold goods will be destroyed. read more

We are military and have moved all over the world... which makes "worldwide moving and storage" a misnomer for this company. They showed NO moving expertise and we paid for it dearly on the other side of our overseas move. Due to my husband being at work, I was holed up in a room with our three kids and trusted them to pack unsupervised-- BIG mistake. Things they wrapped carefully in loads of paper- plastic utensils, paper plates, aluminum foil, and Tupperware. Things they DIDN'T wrap carefully-65" TV, accompanying sound bar, MacBook Pro, and glass souvenirs from Hawaii which are virtually irreplaceable. They refused to pack our toilet brushes and plungers for 3 bathrooms which were also specially purchased in Hawaii and we had to throw them (money) out. They swung my Cricut vinyl machine around and dropped/lost all the expensive blades I'd bought, without even noticing. They lost the cords for the PlayStation, and chipped every type of item from my dining set (mugs, plates big & small, bowls, serving tools). This is without a doubt the worst move I've done in 30 years of military moving. Final note, they sent two people the first day and four the next, when it should have been reversed. I havent used their moving services, however I did purchase used moving boxes. I found an ad on CList for used moving boxes ($0.50/each). Harris is such a nice guy! Replied right away and was available the next day for me to pick up some large and x-large boxes. He even gave us a free palette to hold the boxes down in the truck. My husband is in the navy so we don't really get to pick our moving company, when he told me that we had been assigned Worldwide Moving and Storage I started researching and was worried about some of the negative reviews that I read but I am happy to say that everyone I worked with at Worldwide Moving exceeded my expectations. On my pack out day it was pouring rain in Kailua, the crates had been open on the drive in from Kapolei so they were soaked by the time the truck got to Kailua and one was leaking profusely. I was very worried about my stuff being loaded in the rain then sealed up to sit in the sun for the 2 month transit to the east coast. When I expressed my concerns about the potential for mold the movers were very understanding and requested a new truck be delivered with dry crates. As they were loading the truck they only brought stuff outside in small phases when the rain let up to keep it as dry as possible. We also had to have a special crate built for our kayak and a large area rug, the kayak was full of water and again I was worried about mold so I requested the kayak and rug be crated separately, I know my request created more work for the moving company but they gladly accommodated me. I am happy to say that I have now received my household goods in Georgia and we did not have a single damaged, broken, lost or moldy item. The service from Worldwide Moving was topnotch and everyone was extremely polite and professional. One individual that I spoke to told me that they used to be paid by weight so the movers would rush the jobs to get as much packed as fast as possible but after getting negative reviews the company recently switched to billing by the hour which allows the movers to take their time and pack with care, maybe that's why they have less than stellar reviews from the past but when I moved in March 2017 they were great! read more

Used Worldwide Moving for a move from Honolulu to Dallas and was told there would be no additional fee for storage up to 3 months here in Dallas. 4 months after delivery I received a storage bill for $225.00 for two months of storage. Not happy I was given the incorrect information. read more

We used Worldside Moving for our April 2015 move back to the mainland from Oahu and were extremely dissatisfied.  Garage items were broken, leaking and missing, having not been packed properly.  Even with me pointing out to them to NOT pack the used house paint; they packed 4 five gallon pails and 6 one gallon pails. All of my garage items where 'thrown' into the box and not 'packed' into boxes. Items that I saw them pack into boxes, did not make it onto the truck and "mysteriously" did not make it to our destination. Of course those were the expensive high performance automotive items that went missing. The contents of an entire kitchen cabinet was not packed and left behind; that alone was hundreds of dollars of cooking items.  Upon contacting the movers on this end about the missing items and trying to make an insurance claim, they wanted us to indicate which itemized items were missing and out of which box.  Of course, the items that didn't make it into our move weren't itemized (they weren't packed and or were stolen!).  We have not been compensated at all and would not recommend them. We estimate that at $3000 worth of items are still on Oahu and we now have to replace all of those items at our cost. In the end the cost to move was $11,400 not including storage, and the missing items; and now that's closer to $15,000 in ACTUAL costs. Some additional advice would be to take pictures and do your own itemization of your belongings before the movers arrive, regardless of who you hire. read more

I worked with Forrest and everything went smoothly and perfect. His moving teams were right on time every time.
