Recycling is a good thing! Want to be paid to clean your house? Just collect all of your aluminum cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles, then bring them here! Sort out your glass bottles by color...clear, green, brown, etc. It's easier to weigh your bottles and cans, but for those who want a hand count, that's available, too. Service is efficient. Just drive up and park nearby. Pour your sorted cans (and bottles) into a plastic bin. A worker will pour your bin into another container and weigh your items. Sign the receipt and collect your cash... it's easy! Happy Earth Day (April 22 of every year)! P.S. RRR Recycling Services - Recycling Center Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

I've been here twice without any problems! Yes the place is stinky and there are some puddles to be aware of but it's a recycling center so it's realistic. There hasn't been too much glass on the ground and I've felt comfortable enough to walk around there in slippers. Also, I try to seperate everything before I go but even when I do it there they staff are friendly and patient. I seperate my cans, small bottles, big bottles (2 L bottles, OJ bottles, etc.), and then beer bottles as a courtesy to the staff. Would recommend this place cause they're quick and offer fair prices, plus it's the only recycling center in the Kane'ohe area. read more

RRR Recycling Services - Recycling Center Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

I like this recycling center because it's usually cleaner, i could go anytime during the hours of operation, which didn't have a break of lunch hour intheir schedule, and the staff is very friendly, but today I was disappointed to find that the woman that works here told me they will be closed during lunch, which is not listed on their hours of operation. I drove to this recycling place because of their hours to find that I'd have to return since she said the person before me was last, knowing that I only had one bag to recycle. Best to call if they're closing during lunch since their sign doesn't say so. Parking is no problem and the lines aren't too long, so unless they close with no notice, the wait is very short. read more

RRR Recycling Services - Hours of operation does not state closed for lunch but the lady said they close from 12:30 - 1pm - Recycling Center Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

Excellent customer service! Everyone is very friendly and works very hard to take care of their customers!

Been going there for awhile. Staff are very helpful and organized. I don't feel rushed when sorting the

Fast money Ok maybe not fast but you get something back and keep help the land fill out. I like this location because: 1. There is a lot of parking stalls. 2. The staff (usually only 2 people) are friendly. 3. The people recycling their cans and bottles are just as friendly. Some guy invited me to get a pork adobo omelette with him. I would have said yes but I got work. 4. For a recycling place, it's clean. Located at the end of the mall near HOPE Church, this little shack handles a large of customers. I would say come early but today I showed up at 0810 and there were two people ahead of me. My pork adobo buddy and a lady who had 7 months of cans, plastic, and bottles!!!! Needless to say she made the money and made me late. No omelette for Mike. So I don't have a general time of when you should come but I will say Sundays are worship days so getting a parking spot might be tough. Lastly if you want, you can have them hand count your recyclables (up to 200) but I would say only if there was no line and you have time to waste. That way you won't end up getting pennies. If cans are 5 cents, how do you end up with pennies? Those scales are rigged I tell yea. Overall four stars. I would give five but really it's a recycling center. M read more

I've been coming to the Waikele Center for over 5 years . There used to be two workers, now only one worker who is overworked with the amount of customers. One worker is not enough. I like coming here, please consider more help. An appreciative customer. read more

Probably the best place to recycle. Workers are nice and help empty your cans/plastics into bins.

Took my cans before I was ready and weighed them and made a comment to her partner like he wasn't fast enough to read the scale and laughed . Probably because they are talking some of the top for them selves. I do notice I get significantly less here than other places. Not the best costumer service to. Don't waste ur time and ur money go somewhere else! read more

This recycling center is located way in the back of Waikele Center. There are recycling places closer to home but I like this place because it's never been crowded when I came here, there is plenty of parking and the location isn't too hot. The nearest recycling site to where I live is in the Pearl City Shopping Center but there always seems to be a line up, it's in a crowded parking lot with lots of cars driving by and there is no shade. I would rather spend an additional 15 minutes to avoid this. read more

RRR Recycling Services - Located in the Diamondhead, makai corner of Waikele Center. - Recycling Center Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

A female employee was closing up at 16:40 and proceeded to turn us away because they closed at 16:45 despite their Yelp stating they close at 17:00. Would've been fine and understanding if she didn't yell at us. When we proceeded to tell her that the Yelp says 17:00, she immediately shut us down in a rude manner. read more

I have used the RRR Recycling Center at Waikele for several years and am always impressed by the friendly service. Today 8 January 2016, however, I was blown away. I was expecting an extended stay so soon after holidays parties, but instead it was quite the opposite. Both employees came out to my car and grabbed all I was bringing in for refund and took care of the entire process. To further add to my customer delight, their attitudes are usually very upbeat and helpful, but today they seemed particularly cheerful and outgoing. What a nice treat! Many thanks for their continued outstanding service to the Waikele community, they are great folks. Every visit. read more

Wow. RRR recycling typically has very rude workers but today was even more rude! When we arrived the man was extremely rude and told us we could not use the green barrel by our car. We had a bag spill so we just needed to pick up some bottles. Only needed one Barrell for a moment. He then made me carry the bottles one by one from the car. We had 15 large plastic bottles and a whole Barrell full of small plastic bottles. We told him we wanted him to count the 15 large plastic. He ignored us and counted all plastic as large plastic. This location is a scam!!!! read more

The young guys here were friendly and efficient. Took 1 star for cleanliness and road / lot conditions. I understand it's a recycling place but the lot can still be clean and smooth like other recycling places I've been to. read more

Thank you for good directions to the man that answered the phone. I was very happy with your services & amount of cash back. Mahalo.

YEA!!!!! THANK YOU!!! FINALLY a good honest transaction...the Jamaican guy and his helper were on the ball! These 2 guys were helpful and rang up my barrels correctly. I was so stressed out going there, I accumulated over $100 worth of recyclables. Great job guys!! read more

Very dangerous area with some of the workers flying glass everywhere and not cleaning up. So be sure to wear closed toe shoes and keep your children in the car. The workers also just throw the bins not caring if it gets beat up or hitting or close to hitting the people around Also my family and i have been mistreated by a worker who didnt weigh 3 of our bins and told us that we lucked out on our money and since their team had a new worker was the reason why they didnt weigh it all and i had to call the main office lady who was really nice and helped to solve everything. The boy working told us if i want to talk to someone in charge to run after one of the supervisors van that was already leaving the location. I recommend going to the kailua location read more

This place is a ripoff. They also dont accept all HI 5 or for what ever reason gave them back. We also notice we get less $$$ compared to the other place. Not worth the effort to go here. read more

Went to this location early on a rainy Saturday. There was only one employee working and we had a van full of cans and bottles. He was super nice and friendly and didn't complain that we had so much stuff!! I hope RRR recycling values this hard worker! read more

Workers at this location are awesome. It's a tough job but it's always service with a smile.

Waikele doesn't open at 8:00. Showed up at 8:47 with 5 customers still waiting. What a joke!!!

What's the point of putting closing hours if the worker tells you he like go home early so he not going let you recycle when there's still 10 minutes until they close? read more

Friendly staff but be aware they close down for lunch from 12:30pm-1:00pm...at least when I went there.

Closed for lunch- can't remember the exact time-but otherwise -this is where I always go to turn in my recycled bottles because these guys in my opinion don't rip you off read more

Never busy cause employees are not customer friendly. Needs training. Don't like this center at all.

This is the second time I've been to this location. It wasn't busy when I came which is a good thing. The lady never uttered a word the whole time I was transferring my recyclables. The only time she said anything was when I was given the weight and the total amount of cash I was getting. Customer service needs some work. Not sure if the lady was having a rough day but the vibe wasn't welcoming. 3 stars since I like the location and it isn't in the ghetto. read more

Experience with them was awful they don't give a shit about their own rules, they're rude and openly complain about people while they are still within earshot, and the second the clock reaches 4:00 their only priority becomes getting the fuck home even if people have been waiting in line for half an hour DON'T ever go to them. We used to go to them all the time and recommend them to friends but after that experience we're not going back and they lost our recanendation read more

For a tiny wahine that has to take the recyclables by myself, I always appreciate these guys for making it so easy for me. As soon as I park my truck the guys are right there waiting to unload. Today I was there for only a total of 6 minutes! Thank you strong, helpful men! read more
