Only then was I told I was "wrong" and that the price quoted was only for a polish change, which was never explained at any point. The price was suddenly raised to $25. The issue is not the cost. I was fully prepared to pay. The issue was the attitude and the dishonesty. Instead of taking responsibility for the miscommunication, the staff repeatedly insisted that I had misunderstood, spoke to each other in another language while smirking and laughing, and made the situation uncomfortable and disrespectful. That behavior alone was enough for us to leave. Mocking or insulting customers in another language is immature and unacceptable. We wasted our time and left feeling disrespected. I will not support a business that changes prices after the fact and treats customers this way. To make matters worse, the salon had an overwhelming chemical odor that caused an immediate headache within the short time we were inside. I've been to places where it's like BIM BAM BOOM next, so I enjoyed that. They don't give complimentary neck massages or drinks like some places but that's ok.
