Go elsewhere! So many Tattoo and Piercing options in Savanna, don't settle for a studio that is unfamiliar with GA Health Codes. Dangerously ignorant. We just had my son there for a piercing, his first, and they lied about a GA Health Code. There is no GA Health Code prohibiting two parents from being in the room with their minor child. Additionally, they have no public policy stating the same. As a result of that lie my son and I were denied a core memory together. That has lifelong implications. They were unable to show me the specific code they were referring to, so I read the entire section and alas there is none. I feel robbed of a memory I can never get back. I was treated well. I felt good there. The owner has a good solid story for the name of the parlor. Ask him. His artist both piercing and tattoo are good. My artist I tried for the first time. I am impressed by his detail and the effort put into his work. He stood back multiple times to check it. Towards the middle of the tat he was so into it he zoned me out to concentrate. I never ever write reviews but my tattoo I got was terrible. It's not in the right spot and takes up half my arm. When I asked the artist to shrink it and move it his response was "it will make the fingers look unrealistic". I believe his name was James? Something with a J. Works in the very back.I was freshly 18 so ofc I didn't want to irritate the person who was gonna be stabbing me with a needle. But what really pisses me off is that the tattoo ended up having 6 fingers... the artist ignored what I wanted and did his own twist to the head part of the tattoo and it looks stupid. This was sometime in July 2022 I'm just now writing a review because looking at this just bothers me knowing this is on my body forever. Thankfully the artist who wears a hat I think he's bald and has the really cool room in the front was able to cover up the 6th finger. I've had two piercings done here (helix and conch), both of which were done by Ashton. I had such a great experience with her. She is professional, quick, and kind. My first piercing had no complications, and my second is still in the healing process. My first tattoo experience and it will always be my best!!!! The staff was incredible and caring, making great conversation before, during, and after the actual tattooing. My leg was jumpy (since it was right around my ankle) and Monster handled it with no problem. I came with two other people, getting different tattoos and we walked in at 8pm. Terrible, i know, but they were quick and simple and the staff was super chill about it. They stayed a little late for us and I can't thank them enough. 5 stars for Rob the tattoo artist. He was great very professional and super happy with outcome. BUT don't judge the place if you get the sparky so called greeter! Nasty attitude and we didn't have a chance to say much. She was angry that we showed up an hour before closing. We were in and out by closing. My friend had just finished and we were looking at her tat and preparing to leave when the snarky greeter then came out and with her nasty attitude wanted us to hurry and pay. When I asked her her name she refused to give it. She knew what she had done and played innocent in front of the others. Too late they saw. She has no business at the front inacting with new guests. If it wasn't for one of the other lady's kindness we would have left. It was a Tuesday night and no customers...they made 200 off us in under an hour! And we were treated like trash! my sister and i came to resurrection ink to get a very simple matching tattoo together. we went to the closest place to us because we figured that nobody could mess up a 4 number tattoo.. we were wrong. the lady tattooing us (pictured) was not very friendly and needed some work on her customer service, tattoos were 80$ each and both look horrible. mine looked good when she first finished (1st pic) but after it healed i realized that the thickness of each number is very different (last picture) and my sisters tattoo is crooked as well as her 8 is misshapen (not pictured). very dissatisfied and will have to go somewhere else to get it fixed read more

My friend and I stumbled across this hidden gem after experiencing horrible customer service at another shop. If I get any more ink done or need my older tats touched up, I'm definitely coming back! The crew at this place make you feel at home and they do amazing work. We were luckily enough to get squeezed in on a Saturday, and we couldn't be more pleased with our tats! Resurrection's prices are reasonable and the facility is clean. If you want some good work done by some fantastic guys, stop in and see Ward and Rob!!! That other shop, not too far from Resurrection, had it's "Glory Days" and needs to be put out to pasture. If you are thinking about going anywhere else in Savannah, don't waste your gas or your time! ***UPDATE*** I went back in August of 2018 and got another amazing tattoo, but this time my ink was done my Mark! I asked for a cover up, and ended up with with a masterpiece. His attention to detail was outstanding. My piercing experience was dodgy and so-so. They just want to pierce you and then kick you out ASAP. I wasn't asked what gauge size or ring I wanted for my piercing. Make sure you specify that to your piercer if it's important to you. Everything was clean and the piercing was decent, though. I guess you take what you can get for less expensive piercings. read more

They have been great! I had to go get my piercings removed before an MRI and they were very clean and anti-COVID. I went back after my MRI and the got me in immediately to put back back in piercings. Unfortunately, I had a ball fall out and had to get it screwed back in. Ashton was super awesome replacing the ball and inserting new piercings. I absolutely am in love with Resurrection Ink! I recently moved from Atlanta and have been on a mad woman's hunt for a new artist the last month... And let's just say, it sucked. I finally took a friend's advice & visited Resurrection Ink and fell in love the moment I walked in the door. Not only were all the artists friendly but several even helped me decide (I'm a woman and very indecisive) on my tattoo.. My artist was beyond friendly, was very polite to my wallet too. I got the tattoo I've been wanting for years but never had an artist who could suggest an idea that really appealed to me. Not only did he design one but exceeded my expectations. Talked me to me every second of the tattoo, which really helped distract me from the tattoo. The owner came in & introduced himself and chatted with me as well. I've been to A LOT of shops before but NEVER have I encountered such a friendly shop. I would definitely go back, and I do plan on going soon. My father is also really picky about his artists but he's in the process of scheduling an appointment here because he loved the work they did so much and loved the staff as much as I did. This shop is located on the 2nd level of the shopping center and is pretty easy to find. My friends and I came in on a whim after having the itch for some new piercings. We filled out paper work, we're taken to a room in the back and we're out of there in 20-30 minutes. The woman, Ashton (I think. Sorry if I got that wrong), who did our piercings was very friendly and great to work with. She allowed us to both be in the same room and worked with us to make sure the placement was where we wanted it. I went first and had her do a cartilage hoop piercing while my friend went in second with 2 lobe piercings. A quick and easy process with 2 happy customers. The only thing I would have asked to be done different would be the after care explication. I already knew how to care for a new piercing so it want a big deal to me but we weren't given instructions until I picked up the little aftercare paper they had on the desk.
