Kenny is AMAZING! He created the most beautiful autumn leaves scene on my arm today. He has such a light touch, and his lines are super fine and absolutely perfect. The colors he used are all vegan, and they are really gorgeous and realistic. He is a great conversationalist, which made the process even more pleasurable. The shop is super clean, and everyone was really friendly. I definitely recommend Kenny, and I'll be back to see him when I am ready for my next piece of art. Thank you Kenny for you gorgeous creation! read more

This is hands down the best shop I've been to, to date. This is my 5th tattoo, and I get a new tattoo in every state I visit. Peter was the artist that did my tattoo and his line work is perfect, he's easy to work with, and he even took me and my friend to a local bar (The Wormhole) with all our luggage in tote as our Uber driver real quick. Best customer service ever! I'll definitely be back to visit and get another one from Peter! read more

Peter was so nice and accommodating. Professional with a great personality and excellent quality.

Kenny was amazing to work with and did a great job on my tattoo. He was very patient with me and offered some helpful suggestions.

I researched Tattoo shops in Savannah, GA and Savannah Ink had good reviews that impressed me. I submitted a picture of what I wanted done. It was a line drawing of Two Greyhounds with a heart in the middle. It took him One Hour to complete and it looked fine when I left and took a drastic turn for the worse overnight. When I texted the owner, Peter, along with a photo he basically said not to worry that the bruising will go away. I gave it some time and the heart became infected and there was significant ink blowout. When Peter realized there was a problem that was not going away he offered to refund my $150 which I accepted. On Wednesday, February 15th, after waiting 4 months for an appointment with Alexis Noel of Ink Revoluzion in Hardeeville, SC the Tattoo was worked over to conceal the problem areas. It cost me $350 to correct his mistakes. I emailed Peter and asked him if he would share that cost with me and he has yet to respond. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. Pix1 was taken right after Peter finished. Pix2 was the next day. Pix3 was 3-5 days after. Pix4 was done by my Tattoo artist, as explained above. read more

Jordan was incredible! My boyfriend and I wanted to commemorate our visit to Savannah with tattoos that we have been wanting for some time. We didn't make an appointment, walked in, and were greeted kindly and quickly. After some discussion, Jordan set off to custom design our tattoos and boy did he deliver! We're both SO pleased! Professional, kind, and pristine, I'd highly recommend him to anyone considering getting a tattoo while they're in the city. Thanks Jordan! read more

There isn't much to say about Savannah ink that people don't already know. This is shop is as good as it gets. I travel from St. Louis, MO just to get tattooed here by Peter. He is the owner, and an all around great guy. The other artist are fantastic as well. There is a parking garage right next to the shop which is really convenient. It is literally a three minute walk to the shop. The prices are reasonable and the work is top notch. If you live in the area, please check them out. If you live quite a distance away and are looking to get tattooed, Savannah is the perfect place for a road trip. I would recommend this parlor to anyone. Nice clean shop, clean lines, great color, just incredible tattoos. I get compliments on mine all the time. Five stars read more

Made an appointment on May 8th for two sessions with Peter on Saturday the 19th while I was in town for her law school graduation. When my friend and I arrived for our sessions we found a sign on the door saying the shop was closed for the weekend. No contact, no chance to find another artist just a waste of time. I'm sure the artists are great, if they actually show up. read more

Absolutely would recommend! Peter crushed it and I couldn't have been happier. Stop by and see them!

I cannot say enough positive things about this shop and Peter. I came down here from Virginia Beach for work with the idea of just getting one piece done. I was very lucky Peter said he could fit me and a couple other guys in while in town. The piece came out amazing...to be honest better than we could ever have imagined it from a drawing we provided him. I liked him so much I set up a second session for some more work, and will be getting a third session down before leaving. The price is beyond reasonable, if anything I felt like he wasn't charging enough for the quality of work he provides as an artist. My buddy likes his so much that he will drive the 8 hours back here to finish his sleeve. The shop is very clean and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by for your first/next tattoo. If Peter is booked, I promise you it would be worth the wait! read more

My partner wanted to get a tattoo for me on our vacation so he looked at several places on Yelp before we checked this one out. He was impressed with the photos and wanted to find a wheelchair-accessible place so I could sit with him as it was his first tat. We popped in and the owner and his artist, Peter, squeezed him in for the following day. We showed up and he had the artwork ready, adjusted it a little, and got to work. It was exactly what my husband wanted, took no time at all, and was very affordable. My sister got a smaller, similarly difficult tattoo from a competitor in Savannah almost a decade ago and paid close to the same price. Peter was very friendly and clearly loves what he is doing. We will be coming back. read more

I really can't say enough good things about this shop. It was clean, super professional, and I adore Schuyler! He's SUPER talented and very friendly. His rates are very reasonable, indeed. Got a tattoo here after going to a different place the day before and being completely ignored and blown off. Guy here wasn't super friendly but wasn't completely rude. He seemed to be irritated by the predicament he was in that being the only person there. My tattoo was small and it was totally my fault to agreeing to something I didn't love to start with. I felt pressured to hurry and get it done. That was also my fault. Now, I'll have to go to another tattooer and have it tweaked/corrected because there's several mistakes and lines that are missing and off. It could've been a cute tattoo but as it is now, it's not. Not one person that's seen it has said it's nice either so.....I also felt I paid too much for what I got considering the time it took, the size and no color. read more

Very friendly helpful staff. Clean and modern studio/shop. My husband and I will certainly be back and look forward to our next tattoo.

Just popped in to get a small last minute tattoo and the guys at Savannah Ink were more than accommodating. Taylor Elliott did my tattoo and he's the man. Super cool dude with a lot of talent. I knew I was going to be in Savannah and wanted a good tattoo from someone other than my usual artist. I found Peter on Instagram and I was very impressed by his work. I contacted him via email and he responded within a couple hours and scheduled me for the day I was going to have some free time. When I got there, I told him what I wanted and he drew it out, set up his machines and got to work. Even though the location I chose was in a tender spot, he really didn't hurt me that bad (bonus) and he worked quickly. He also uses high-quality inks and needles. The bottom line is, Peter has a very high level of skill. His line work is impeccable and technically perfect. His grays and whites really snap and his watercolor splatter technique is amazing. I've been getting tattooed for 16 years and I have full sleeves so I know a thing or two about tattooing and in my opinion, Peter's work is extremely high-quality. I will certainly be going back for more which is saying a lot considering I live four hours away in a town with several great shops. read more

I don't write reviews but this is an exception. Right off I want to say that Peter is personable, professional and most of all a very talented artist. I came down from New York to have Peter ink my tattoo this Memorial Day Monday. His work is exceptional and I have already received multiple compliments just from the local residents. The shop is clean and bright. I recommend to go and check Savannah Ink out if you are in Savannah and thinking about getting a tattoo. read more

I was basically a "walk-in" but I called earlier just in case (it's always good to be nice and considerate). Schuyler greeted me right away and was very nice through all the process. It was my first tattoo so I'm very grateful that he answered all my questions with a great attitude. Good price (it was a small tat), all clean and sanitized. I would definitely recommend it. :) read more

This review is way overdo, but better later than never! I got my tattoo done back in February. I was visiting Savannah all the way from CA, so I had to set up my appointment over email without being able to visit & check the place out. I was a little nervous at first since I wasn't able to check the place out, but I'm so that I went through with it because Peter is an amazing artist! My tattoo turned out beautiful and better than I ever imagined it in my mind. His shop is very clean with separate rooms for each artist. He also gave my boyfriend and I must go places in Savannah, I really appreciated that! If I ever visit Savannah again, I definitely will make my way back to Peter to get another piece. read more
