This place has really went downhill. I would not advise going there. The women are fine but the man that works there he has always worked there. He is an awful employee. He is rude. He is nasty and he does a terrible job every time I have been there and got him. I have regretted it Remarkably. In Savannah for a wedding, and I needed a last minute manicure. Popped in here after searching all over Savannah for somewhere that would take walk-ins. They did an amazing job on my nail shape and polish, even helping me pick the color! Super nice people. Stayed late just to finish me up without rushing. The only small hiccup was once I left, I noticed that the nail tech did not clean up the dip polish around my cuticles and fingertips. I got a deep burgundy color so it looked like dried blood :( All in all, great experience for a great price! I would go back if I lived here! read more

I've been a regular at this salon for years now, and might I say, it never fails to cater to my needs. I personally love Kim and her staff--when I walk in, they address me by name and get work done right away. This nail shop gets pretty busy, though, but they will always make time for you. I love getting gel or dip here, you won't find quality service like this anywhere else in Savannah. I always come here to get my brows done, and my brows stay looking great for a long time before I come back in. Will be going in soon to get my toes done before I head back to Atlanta! read more

I stopped in for an eye brow wax. The girls took good care of me, and it was reasonably priced. However, the waxing station (at least for brows), is out on the manicure floor. Basically it's a lounge chair with the waxing materials set up on a shelf in the corner. The wax was good, but the experience was awkward. They tried to pressure me into getting a pedicure which I declined, but that's any nail salon you go to. 4 star service for sure, but deducted 1 star due to the awkward set up. read more

CHARGES $2 JUST TO USE A CARD. would give it 0 stars if i could. this place is a joke. i tried to give it 3 chances and every time the prices change (which sadly is the usual for the nail salons in this area) but theirs change drastically as they are extremely over-priced as it is. don't forget about the $2 charge just for using a credit card! this time i was charged $42 for what is the most heinous set ive ever gotten in my life. she refused to fix it because i didn't have time the same day (who does for as long as they take) didn't even give a discount. a joke. will discourage everyone i know from going here just to save them the trouble ive experienced. read more

This salon was recommended to me and overall they do a great job I have had both pedicure and arcrylics done there artwork is fantastic the only reason for a 3 star rating is their pricing I have never had the same service cost the same amount twice in a row. their prices are consistently higher than other salons I go to and I have had a gel pedicure run from $30 to $45 depending on how they are feeling it seems. Other than the feeling of being cheated this is just not right check the price before you start. read more

We walked into Island Nails to get a gel polish change and pedi. Before we even said what we wanted the lady says we busy I'm like wtf does that even mean she said we busy like gonna be busy for at least an hour. I'm thinking to myself isn't the normal time as a walk in to wait anywhere from 15-60 minutes anyway? I look around all her clients were white and we were black. They didn't even want us to wait to be serviced, literally "shoo-Ed" is away. I'll never beg you to take my money but the blatant disrespect was just a horrible. Will never come back here. read more

They re adorable. I have been their monthly customer since 2 years. They're always happy, always make me relax as much as possible. Price is not cheap but they re worth. I often get my nails done with gel but now I changed into dip power, it works even longer and much better for my nails. Definitely come back for a new dip set next week. read more

Whoever may be reading this please read the whole thing because it's very important that you do before you consider this place. I thought hey this business is reasonable until I started seeing they charge for every little thing even a trim down of nails which doesn't really require much to even do just using their little drill to do so. I started coming in on a regular basis, that welcoming that people said they have became rudeness! One of the workers will not let anyone else do your nails if you use her. I went there one day and had to sit and wait for a hour for this worker, I said, "can someone else do my nails," she said, "no I know you're nails," and other workers would be sitting there doing nothing. Then what was the last straw for me is when I went in and she said, "busy" no hi or anything. Again I said, "nobody else can do my nails therr is other workers doing nothing."I got the response no we busy, and I'm it was rude tone. I thought it was kind of possessive how she would not let others do my nails. So I went to the place I used to go to for years that went up on prices, and it's a good thing I did go that evening because they had to pop off every single one of my nails. They all my nails had water stains, which is a step to fungus, and a couple of my nails did have fungus and never had that problem ever until I went to Island nails so that's why I thought this was important for people to see. I've been getting my nails done for 10 years, and never had a problem once with nail issues until Island nails. I feel i should add this as well, your nails will pop off easily if you go there. They are cheap with the acrylic powder. Makes you wonder if it's done on purpose so they can get more money? So take my story as you will, but I realised 15 dollar nail fill in perhaps seems cheap but I've never just paid $15, it always ends up more because she had to repair this now do that now and charge me $3 on top of it to do a trim down. I fall in love with their brand new massage chair and so does the staff there. People are so nice and watching them carefully painted my toes and fingers is the best experience ever that I couldn't have after a long time struggling to a place to relax throughout the town.
