I was happy they were able to give me a pedicure because their Covid rules state they only take appointments. Another entering customer was worked in as well. Upon entering, I was asked to immediately wash my hands. Great idea to have all customers wash away germs before handling polish, touching surfaces, etc. They don't have a large selection of nail polish, but the salon is clean, has several flat screens playing and friendly staff. The leg massage is always the highlight and never long enough! Great job on the pedi. Will return. read more

I liked this nail salon. I must say when I walked in around 5:30pm on a Wednesday, and found the place empty (with no customers), I felt a bit of trepidation. However, it was a great experience. I am giving them 3 stars because I found them to be a bit expensive, but what isn't these days. $50 for a traditional manicure and pedicure. There are no frills here. Older nail salon, older pedicure chairs, with the basic essentials for a manicure. What I loved is the efforts of the seasoned and sage women that worked in the nail salon. Calming and soothing atmosphere. Quiet. They have TV's and have the option of music. But the quietness and stillness resounded in so much peace. I fell fast asleep. These ladies were kind and gentle. Meticulous. The spirit and the essence here brought about a wonderful experience. I would go back. read more

Went there for a full set of gel acrylics today and the nail tech was so sweet. She asked me every detail of what I wanted, including how thick I wanted the nails to be which has never been asked before (usually they make them too thick without asking) and I told her I wanted them to be thin and she made them exactly that! She was very precise with the shape, asking repeatedly if everything was looking okay with how she was doing them. She went back and corrected every slight mistake she saw in the shape and was not too rushed to just get it over with. She made sure she had the clippers at the exact length of the nail I wanted them cut at before actually cutting them instead of just guesstimating how short I wanted them based off my verbal request. I thought it was going to be more expensive because of how long she took and how detailed she was, but when I got the bill it was a major sigh of relief. Very affordable! Especially for a new set. She also offered designs to me even though I did not specify at first I wanted any, which was a nice consideration. 10/10 awesome nail bar. read more

I'm new to the area but have traveled here before and had my nails done by Yen at LA Nails. The first I got them done when I was visiting, she did a great job! Perfect nails, very friendly, and takes her time to make your nails perfect yet is timely in her work! I adore her! I now live here and went to get my nails done and she remembers me from February! It's a nice, small nail salon with little to no room to walk around, which isn't a big deal since customers spend most of their time sitting down, not moving around. However, I was not satisfied the the job done on my toe nails. I asked to simply get my toe nails painted with gel polish and the lady proceeded to turn on the water for me and start a pedicure. I wasn't sure if this was part of the normal procedure for getting your toe nails painted, so I stayed quiet and let her do my job. A few minutes later, she asked if I wanted a pedicure and I informed her that I only wanted my nails painted. She then attempted to make me feel bad, as if it were my fault, that she misunderstood my request. She turned off the water aggressively and was somewhat rude when telling me to take my feet out of the water. On top of the rudeness and unprofessional way of addressing a simple miscommunication, she sped through the process and did not paint my toe nails with any form of integrity or effort. My nails were not filed evenly, nor were they painted nicely. To put it simply, my toes look messy and round, like a child painted them. It wasn't too overpriced, but I don't want to pay more than $20 for gel polish on my toes. But they charged me $25 for a bad job and poor service. I definitely will not be returning. I wanted to try out a new nail salon, but there are plenty more in savannah with much better service, and cheaper prices. read more

This establishment and the service was mediocre AT BEST. My friend and stopped in for mani/pedis, we weren't acknowledged by the staff for almost 30 minutes perhaps because we started chatting with one of the regular customers as soon as we sat down. Once we were seated in the pedi chairs we didn't receive any service for another 30 minutes. Once we got to the manicure my nail technician was cold and seemed annoyed. She stayed that way until she nipped a small chunk of skin off of my finger suddenly she became very friendly and chatty. I went there for a full set. I got a seat immediately. The girls were very nice and making sure I was comfortable while I was waiting for a tech to get to my nails. I was very impressed by there variety of gel colors. Once the tech got to nails which was literally five to ten minutes of me walking in the door. The tech made sure I was satisfied with my nails. Still trying to find "my" nail place.... I waited for 30 minutes, in the chair with my feet soaking. This wouldn't have been an issue if the chair massager was fully-functionable. It would only work on auto and I wanted a particular area massaged. I hold my stress in my shoulders. Whatever, still all good, not expecting perfection. Then I see the manicurist I'm waiting on throw the toe separators she just took off of a client into that station's nail caddy drawer! Oh, no!...See, now if the chair massager was functioning fully, I probably wouldn't have seen that. So now I'm on hyper-alert. As she's finishing up I see that she puts all the metal items in a container (but not the brush or callus remover) and puts it into the sterilizer and retrieves another to use on me. Good, but now I'm thinking, wait, is that the same one that other manicurist just put in there while I was waiting? Isn't there a certain amount of time you're supposed to leave them in there? However, I'm not 100% sure what was placed where when, but this is what happens when you deviate from just one sanitation guideline! Anyways, long story short, she starts my pedicure and when it's time for polish....YUP! She goes into that other drawer and grabs the used toe separators!! I immediately and quietly shake my head and say uh-uh, you just used those on someone else. I want new ones. She actually said, "There's 2," and pulls another pair, same color, out the same drawer. I didn't say anything, just lifted my eyebrows. She just went and got a new pair out the back - if they were even new. Pedicure is done. I ask for a water. I had to pay $1 for it. 1st time for this! No argument. Why should I expect anything less...Will not be returning. Oh, and she never removed either pair of toe separators from that drawer. She threw them both back in. read more

Went to this nail salon randomly and was so disappointed. They are higher than any other salon I've visited in Savannah and the service is so mediocre. No warm towels, no massage. They just rub the lotion on lol. I asked them if that was it & she said I could get hot towels and massage with the deluxe pedicure. The pedi was 25 & my brother's was 28 and we usually pay less at the mall or in Garden City where they do a great job. This salon however does have a wide selection of OPi & Essie polishes but that doesn't make up for the slack service. My toes were so unflattering, cuticles look crazy. My boyfriend was not impressed & that has never happened. I was so mad I drove all the way to Savannah, GA to get my nails done from Columbia, SC and it was horrible. I walked out. The absolute worst!!!!! Will never go here again. I went once and paid $35 for a full set. 2 days later the gel polish was peeling and one of my nails was cracked straight across. It's now a week later and I've had 4 broken nails!!!! They all broke right where the fake nail gets placed and they CLEARLY didn't know what the hell they were doing. Great customer service and they were super sweet when I stepped on my roommates toes and they had to repaint them. I didn't realize that you'd be able to see where she cut each nail underneath and it looked horrible! La nails is one of the worst nail salons I have been to. I went in for gel nails on a Wednesday and by Friday all of my nails were peeling off and chipping. When I went in to explain I was going out of town and wanted a refund, they made me talk to the owner who told me they would not issue a refund, they would only fix. I tried making it clear I did not have time to get fixed and am going out of town and she kept saying no we will not refund. I came in today and wanted a gel manicure as well as an eyebrow waxing. The First Lady that did my manicure asked what color I wanted and sorta rushed me. So I chose my color. I used to get acrylic nails and slammed my pinky finger in the door so had a very short pinky nail she kept filing my pinky nail even though I told her it hurt. She then proceeded to tell me I should get a full set it would look prettier than my short nails. I told her no thank you. She went on and started painting my nails. When finished went to get my eye brows waxed. The lady waxed my eye brows and said they were very bushy and kept asking me if I wanted my lip done I told her no. She kept saying oh but your lip has hair. I ignored it and she began to pluck my eyebrows and started pulling at the skin. I told her it hurt and to just leave the little hair that she was trying to get out. When she was finished I seen all the wax strips and paper towel that she used to wipe my brows with. They had blood on it. I get waxed on the regular and have never had blood before. I asked if it was blood she insisted that it was the stuff she put on my eyebrows. I can tell the difference between blood and after wax lotion. Other than that my manicure looks good. read more

I have been here 3 or 4 times. I have always had a good experience until today. I was greeted very warmly by one of the workers. I told them I wanted a pedicure. I went to pick out my Polish color while the worker prepared my water. I got over to the water and it was hot as hell. I asked him to cool it off a bit. When he stuck his hand in the water to feel around even he said it was hot. That was kind of funny. While he was doing the pedicure I noticed he was trimming the cuticle back and it was hurting me. I just knew that he was cutting my skin. Towards the end of my pedicure another worker came over and asked me if I wanted a manicure. I said no....she asked again....I said no I don't have time. Which I didn't. I needed to be at work in 30 minutes. She then asked me if I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. I said no again. I don't want anything extra. That crap really pissed me off. There is a method to my madness. Next week is valentine's day. I plan to get my nails and eyebrows done at that time. I for sure will not go here. I come to the nail salons to relax. I went to this salon to get a pedicure, which incidentally turned out pretty well. The massage aspect was mediocre at best, but when you're paying less than $20 for a pedicure...I guess you get what you pay for. I was asked if I wanted to get my eyebrows done. I was skeptical, considering I've been working on growing them out from being too thin for over a year now. I decided to go for it, after an explicit discussion on how I only wanted them to be cleaned up, not made thinner. I repeated that I did not want my eyebrows thinner several more times before and during the service. I was at a loss for words when I finally saw my eyebrows in a mirror. In fact, my first words were, "What have you done?" My eyebrows look nothing like what they were previously and nothing like what I want. They are completely and utterly awful. I went from having nice, natural brows, to having a thick inner portion with a pencil thin line of hair beginning at the halfway point and going towards the outer portion of the brow. In fact, my eyebrows are not even the same length anymore - one is noticeably longer than the other. I am so disappointed, upset, and angry over this horrible experience. Do not go to this salon.
