I just left there about 5 minutes ago and immediately started crying because I hate my nails so much! I'm shopping around for a nail salon that I might like more than my normal place and saw Lotus, which had high reviews and great nail art on their Facebook page. I'm not sure if that talented person was off today because the first picture is what I wanted - which I showed him this picture and the other three is what I ended up with. Not even close! My nails are so thick they almost look like bubbles and nothing is even. Every nail is a different length and shape, my nails look like a choose your own crappy adventure! It's just so sloppy! Had a few hours in Savannah before our flight left, so my friend and I decided to get a pedicure. We checked Yelp and chose Lotus. The atmosphere was nice, quiet and relaxing. Everything looked neat and tidy. We were seated immediatly. A technician, Helen, started on my toes first. My friend's technician, Johnny, was working on another client, but came over as soon as he was finished. I decided to get the basic pedicure with gel. Helen was amazing. She took her time and was very thorough with applying the gel polish. She even gave me a little extra leg massage once she was finished with my toes. Johnny did a good job as well. He was quick, but my friend's toes still turned our great. I would defiantly recommend this business. read more

I wish I could give a lower review. I HAVW NEVER BEEN IN SO MUCH PAIN AFTER GETTING MY NAILS DONE!! I'm pregnant, I risked it by even getting acrylics done. These were supposed to be my nails for my baby shower. When I went in I was rushed to a this guys station. No one introduced themselves. I told him what I want and expected the appointment to be 1hr30min like usual. This was my first time here. I have never been rushed through and appointment so much. He rushed everything! He cut all of my fingers and the ones he didn't cut were burnt by the acrylic (which has never happened to me before) I had acrylic digging into my skin under my thumb nails and my pinkey too. We got done with my nails and he rushed me to pay didn't check his work first. I didn't realize that most of my nails were bumpy, crooked, lopsided until I got in the car. But even then I had other plans to attend, I went home and showed my husband who was appalled by what he seen, my fingers red and irritated. So I went back after thinking it over and asked for a refund. Another mail tech took me to her table and just started cutting them off, and cut my natural nails shorter than what I came in with. Had my soak my fingers. I asked for a full refund. I spent $80, walking out with only $65 in hand. I come from a family that even if we don't have money if someone is doing a service for you, you tip them. I tipped him $15 and was looked at like a crazy person for asking for the tip back. If you didn't do a good job then why should you keep the tip?! If I were to ask for a full refund I expect a full refund. I really hope that my cuts don't get infected... I'm never going back. I don't recommend. The only reason I'd go back is to cuss them out if my cuts get infected!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN SO MUCH PAIN AFTER GETTING MY NAILS DONE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Got a pedicure from here last night, the mail tech was rough and literally sanded away parts of my skin around my toe nails! They are red and inflamed by the time I got home and today look like they are going to get infected!! He put a gel on my toes after sanding them down that burned. I'd been to this nail salon a couple times before and the service had been decent until today. I came in and showed the guy what I wanted and he filed my nails very roughly, he applied dip powder and everything was ok until the design. It was nothing like how I wanted it so I said "I don't like it can you please remove it?" He got really mad and started yelling at me very loudly when I said I did not like the design I said "I'm sorry". He started being extremely aggressive he cut my finger, hurt my nail-beds and filed my cuticles when trying to "file my nails", It was very painful. I was really upset andand told him he could leave the dip powder on because I was very scared of how he reacted. I paid $55 when the cost for dip powder is $45 and even tipped him $5 because I was taught manners. Not to mention I asked for ballerina shaped nails and he did not do that instead they were extremely lopsided. I came back in and told the other worker that the man had cut my finger, yelled at me for no reason and had been very aggressive when I had been nothing but nice. He apologized on his behalf but the other man (who was very rude) just went back to his seat and didn't even look at me. read more

This was hands down my worst nail experience ever. I booked my nail appointment because of the long stilletto Christmas nails on their Facebook, which they definitely did not do because they don't have those tips. There was absolutely no frills in the manicure and it started 45 minutes late, and was clearly rushed. At the beginning of my nail appointment the women asked the price of my last fill and I said $100 (designs & it took over 3 hours) so at the end the women tells me my 45 min fill with her is $100? Because I had 3 broken nails and it's $15 a break I argued with her and they ultimately doubled down on their weird scam. Would not go back for the quality or price. read more

I have been to many a nail salon in Savannah... this is my spot. They are always quick to see me even as a walk in. Wi and Su are incredible (I'm sure others are as well but I have only been their client in my appointments). Everyone is so friendly, personable, and I can always find a parking spot. I truly enjoy the company of their employees and every customer I have seen come and go seems just as satisfied as I am every time. They are amazing about listening to what I want, they know my usual color and length choices, and I genuinely enjoy visiting this salon. Bf and I were treating ourselves to pedicures while on vacation. We were seated in the massage chairs while we waited for a tech to become available. Space is nice and clean, tools were all individually packaged and opened for each client so that was great to see. An offer of drinks would've been nice but didn't seem like this was something they did. His pedicure was first and she was finished with him within 20 minutes. I got another tech who was very detail oriented and just lovely- she took all my suggestions and worked hard on my feet, haha. Didn't expect to be there for 2 hours but we didn't have anywhere to be for a while. She gave us dinner suggestions and was very accommodating. I didn't understand why his pedicure- without any additional filing or even any polish applied- was $30 and mine was $25 but ok. Visiting Savannah for the week and really had some free time to myself to get my nails done. Called and they told me to come in now and they would have a spot for me. Sat down right away and had an awesome manicure. He did just about everything I could imagine. From nail prep to a nice long massage and painted to excellent. I went in as a walk-in appointment. I called before to make sure they had time. I waited for less than 15 minutes. At first I asked for SNS full set and then I asked if they had time for a pedicure. I laughed, my tech made sure I absolutely loved everything before I left. They were both so kind. I fell asleep in my pedicure chair. I was charged more than the menu price. It said $30 and after he's started he said it would be $40 plus $5 for a different shape (the menu says $3) and $5 more for an accent finger (just a different color no design). While I was there he told one woman who walked in trying to get service for 2 pedicures and a full set that they were closed (at 4:30 and the sign says 6) when the lady challenged the time he ignored her until she left. When another girl came in asking for service he served her. Overall, dishonest business practices and on top of it my coffin nails are uneven and they look crooked, you can see my nails underneath and he cut me on my pinky finger with the nail file.
