I called in 2 seperate appointments for 2 different people. Mine and a friend's. Both were mani pedis. I unfortunately had to cancel the original appointments due to an emergency situation that arose but quickly called back to reschedule. I was given the new appointments with no issue. 2 days later the salon called me to reschedule these appointments because of a scheduling conflict, I said fine and rearranged my schedule to be able to attend these appointments. When I got there for the service I was told it was only a pedicure because that's what had been written on the schedule. I explained that I spoke 3 different times to the salon about these appointments and when I asked how they could resolve this, thinking they would call someone else in or offer a different nail person I was told no. I asked to speak to the owner, Vivian, and at first was told that I should call her, unbelievable right? I thought surely the owner would be able to resolve the issue but she immediately started arguing with me and repeatedly told me that I only asked for a pedi. The fact that the appointment had been made on 3 seperate occasions meant nothing to her so I didn't even get an apology. When I was literally told "too bad" is that I finally understood that this woman was just a terrible supervisor who does not know how to treat her customers. When an owner, boss, supervisor does not have the common sense to simply try to appease a customer it says alot about the establishment. I am not a difficult person to please and am usually quite flexible (I am a medical interpreter and deal with some very difficult patients and doctors on a daily basis) the complete disregard with which i was treated prompted me to write this review. Usually if I have nothing good to say I don't post anything but this lack of any type of consideration was just beyond the pale. Needless to say, when I told her I would not be back she said "ok" with no concern at all. Awful experience and not at all recommended.

Whether it's the filling off of the old polish, or the shaping of the nails, it's never an enjoyable process. My experience at Lina nails was the exception. The technician was gentle yet effective, and I had a beautiful looking manicure in under an hour. I will definitely be back!

I asked for short stiletto, which I have had done at other places many times before. The nail tech would not listen to me when I repeatedly told him that they were too long. He just continued through the appointment. When he did finally listen he filed the sides which did nothing for the length. After finally getting tired of not being listened to I just let him finish doing the set. When he asked if I liked them I said "no, they are too long I am going to just take them off tomorrow." He still charged full price even after seeing how mad I was at the situation. I cut them off in the parking lot. The acrylic was so thick he didn't even do that right. The last couple times since David has left, Deboh was with a customer already, I have had to deal with whom ever is available. Yesterday was the worst! This older lady that looked like she was as totally uninterested in providing me quality service from jump! She didn't do my pedicure first she tried to fill in my acrylic. With the ugliest brown powder, my big toe nails looked like I had an ugly fungus infection and the rest of my toes natural color does not match, nor was this the color of acrylic that I had on my toe when I came in. When I said something about it, she gives me the OK OK, and continues to slather more powder acrylic on my toenail. Until I told her that does not look right and to take it off, she gets up go get someone else he comes. He has to shave my toenail bear mind you my cuticles are shredded by now because she had been tearing my cuticles in my nail bed up with her drill. At this point, I am fighting back tears. I tell the gentleman, I have not received my pedicure yet. He stops and tells her to do my pedicure. For context: too young ladies started their pedicure before me and received the basic pedicure. This lady finish my top-tier pedicure before these girls was even finished with their pedicure. I'm watching it in real time. She rushed through didn't do good at all, and it made me feel like it was because I was black so she didn't have to provide great service for me little does she know she lost out on the $20 tip. The gentleman comes back, finish, correcting her mistake. She polished my toes. The polish job is horrible at this point. I'm just trying to hurry up and get out the door. They told me I would get a discount because of the horrible experience I had I get up to the register I get charged my regular $75 then when I started talking, they only take five dollars off. I'm not saying that I wanted it to be half price but I'm walking out with a horrible polish job destroyed nail beds and cuticles and all you took off is five dollars and none of y'all even felt the need to say I'm sorry for your experience today. It's like they feel entitled to our money. The customer service was horrible and after that experience, I can honestly say that was the last straw I would never go there again and I drive a hour away to come and get my feet done not my nails just my feet I'm disappointed because I saw how they were treating the white customers and I saw how they was treating the black customers and if you in there watch it you'll see the same thing I'm talking about yesterday was the first time that I actually paid attention to it because I used to deal with David and David will always give me the same service all the time

The fill in was adequate but could've been a bit more neat. Ms. Kim was very nice and did a good job but I really wish my cuticles were done so that my nails looked more polished.
