Nobody is ever ready to drop a 5 figure dollar amount on a roof, so you'd better find someone you are absolutely comfortable with. After trying to learn as much as I could about roofing, there are three shingle companies that certify their installers : GAF, Certainteed and Owens-Corning. Knowing if you went with their certified installers, a 20+ year warranty would be applied to the workmanship and materials. I sought out a couple of these companies, and decided on trusting a local smaller company, with less salesmanship and less overhead. The world of roofing is huge, as I got bombarded with more than 10 companies reaching out for business. Many specialize in just roofing, others are general contractors that do siding and other constructions . I just wanted a company that's sole business is roofing. This company is Pro Roofing. I got quotes from a large company's salesman with a perfect portfolio and also quotes from a cheaper non -certified , but licensed roofer. Sam's quote was middle rung, and but provided high quality materials. Sam and his crew do wonderful work. Communication is key. They showed up on time, and kept all the appointments. They also took care of the roofing permit. We did a couple of walkthroughs during demo, wood repair, installation and the final inspection. What you need to remember is that after tear off of the old roof, the wood decking hidden underneath the old shingles may need to be replaced, which may incur additional charges that Sam's company charged a very reasonable price. Prepare yourself. Pro roofing has exceeded my expectations. I would NOT hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

I chose RE Roofing initially back in 2017 to reroof my home because Miles took the time to carefully evaluate my home's unique characteristics (partial flat roof, and partial cathedral ceilings) and craft a venting solution to address all of our moisture problems. Whereas the other companies seemed much less knowledgeable and mainly interested in getting in and out as quickly as possible. Since the reroof, I've had a couple leakage issues with our skylights and suntunnels (which I chose not to replace with the reroofing) and whenever I called Miles, somebody came out the same day to assess the issue and make temporary repairs until I could get a permanent fix for the skylight or sun tunnel. Most recently, I had an awning installed that attached to my roof, but the installers did a terrible job and the roof leaked thereafter. I was a little terrified that nobody would take a small roofing job, but I called up Miles again and he was great at diagnosing the issues and coming up with a custom solution in coordination with the awning installers. They did a temporary fix which stopped the leak right away and then followed up to come back and redo the shingles to properly install them as it was not installed correctly by the contractor who installed it initially. In all recent cases, you will see each and every claim was handled with compassion and respect with an intent to understand the issue, correct and better themselves going forward. I contacted several roofing and gutter companies to get estimates for a few projects. I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.
