Love the look of our new roof from AAR! When you are spending upwards of 20k you really want to make sure you have good service and value. The owner Jay was very trustworthy and the project manager Elijah always followed through with what he said would be delivered. The workers showed up early each day as promised and did a wonderful job. I also loved the progress picture updates after each day of work. AAR had the best contract and price after sourcing multiple quotes. We even got the upgraded Solaris shingles by booking by a certain date in October which was awesome because they refract more heat in the summer. We added new gutters on for 4k too. If I had any constructive criticism to offer it would have been to communicate more with the placement on the gutters because we had to have them come back to make a patch and move the gutter to the side because it was better looking on the side of the house rather than a focal point in front. But as promised, they made it right and got the job done with my particular request. Our house looks so much more updated with these Morie Black Landmark shingles, rather than the old terracotta tiles that we had before. I've already referred 3 people to their company and my parents got their roof done by them a month later! It was a bummer they wouldn't honor a referral discount since they said we would have needed a sign out on our lawn to get a discount. After comparing several roofing companies and reviewing our replacement options, we chose All About Roofing (AAR) for a full "tile reset" -- removing and reinstalling the existing tiles and upgrading the underlayment to two layers. We were also able to negotiate a power wash of the original tiles and the replacement of two skylights, upgrading from older plastic domes to modern glass units. The AAR team communicated the scope of work and payment schedule clearly. Before the project began, they dropped off a debris trailer. Each workday, the crew arrived exactly when they said they would -- important for us because our HOA has strict time restrictions. Once the job was complete, they let us know when the city inspection was scheduled and even set up a ladder for the inspector. The real test came a few weeks later when it finally rained. Two gutters overflowed, so I contacted AAR. They responded the same day and scheduled a visit to inspect and clear the issue. Very disappointed with this roofing company. My home has a flat roof, and anyone with roofing experience should know that flat roof leaks are often not easy to trace. The leak point is usually not obvious, so a careful, close inspection is extremely important. Unfortunately, this company only used a drone and did not even go up onto the roof. A drone may give a general overview, but it cannot replace an actual hands-on roof inspection, especially when the purpose is to find the source of a leak and prepare a repair estimate. If no one is willing to inspect the roof surface up close, I do not see how they can properly diagnose the problem or recommend the right repair. I took time out of my day for this appointment, expecting a serious inspection, but the whole experience felt rushed and careless. It honestly gave me the impression that they were not serious about the job and did not really want the business. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and a waste of my time. I would not recommend this company to anyone who needs a thorough roof leak inspection, especially for a flat roof. read more

But Manuel(roof inspector) from All About Roofing was honest about the roof situation and suggested to repair just the part that was damaged for less than 3.5k The house inspection from previous owners mentioned about a gutter damage. But when the team was here to take care of the roof, they cleaned the gutters and said that the gutters were in good condition and no need to replace them. The skylights on my roof had improper flashing when installed several years ago. This eventually resulted in a leaky roof and some water damage to the sub-roof plywood. Had my roof and gutters replaced just ahead of the December holidays with CT Landmark TL and love the new look! I had probably gotten 5 different bids and ended up going with All About Roofing given their reputation, availability and price. They weren't the cheapest, but were still very competitive and had a very thorough contract which made me comfortable. Arnulfo was the project manager and he was really helpful with the re-roof. He is very responsive and understanding of client needs. I had at times tried to discuss some issues with the workers themselves, but due to limited English Arnulfo was always there to facilitate discussions. I was waiting until we had some heavy rains to write this review and am glad to say that everything is holding up thus far! I have yet to go into the attic since the heavy rains, but no issues from what I can tell just yet. And even better is their warranty so if I do have issues I know I can count on them. One minor issue though not a major ding is that the eaves from underneath showed lots of nails penetrating, creating an unsightly view. They tried to clip as many nails as possible, but still saw some left over down the road and wood cracks from the penetration. I think this was caused by the thinner plywood sheathing on my original roof since the replacement plywood they put in didn't have penetrations. Wish it didn't happen, but not a big deal as we have painters coming anyways to fill and touch up areas. Overall happy with the outcome and would recommend their services. read more

In Apr 2025, I engaged All About Roofing to replace my roof. It was time sensitive as I had to replace the roof in time to renew my home insurance. After talking to multiple vendors, I've selected All About Roofing for the task. Right from the get-go, I've been open about my strict timelines. They gave an estimate of 3-5 days for the roof work. On Monday, the crew showed up on time and got to work right away. On day 4 Thursday, when it looked like the project was behind schedule, I contacted the office with my concern and the need to complete the project on schedule. They sent additional crew members to bring the project back on track. In spite of the larger crew's best effort the roof replacement was not 100% completed by Friday evening. After few more calls, the Operations Manager Jay had pulled all stops. He sent crew on Saturday to complete the remaining work and the finishing touches. The crew on Saturday did a thorough job of cleaning the house of the debris. On Monday the roof completed the final inspection from the city. All in all, big thumbs up. Very responsive starting with my initial contact from Yelp. I wanted to get the roof inspected before the rainy season and also investigate a potential leak. They did the inspection for free and I was told that the roof is still in good shape (to my relief) and pointed out that the pipe jack on our roof wasn't completely sealed. We were able to setup a schedule for new new pipe jack and they got the work done a lot quicker than I was originally told. Our roof was approaching 20 years, and we started to see small percentage of asphalt shingles with the fiberglass showing (looks almost like snow from a distance). We have bad rodent problem as spanish tile roof was broken and I called ABR. They sent project manager promptly to inspect and provided a quote. All members working on the project were super friendly and nice to work with. They were on time and showed fast execution. Their roofers are expert! I had to face some issue with fancy birdstop but the owner has promised to help me find it and get it installed the correct way not the hacky way of using cement.
