Tal inspected the roof, identified some issues that aren't imminent, and ultimately indicated that we do not need repairs at the moment. He provided photo evidence and a future action plan. I was impressed by his integrity and thoroughness. read more

Tal was wonderful to work with throughout our roof replacement project. He took the time to clearly explain our options, walk us through the quote in detail, and outline contingency plans so there were no surprises. Top Roofing says it in their name and they do Top Quality work. The owner, Tal, was a very friendly and personable man from the moment that I met him. In addition, Tal is also a General Contractor, which is a big plus! I actually called 4 other roofing companies besides Top Roofing and out of the 5 roofing companies that I dealt with, Top Roofing rose to the "Top". I was very impressed with the owner, Tal, who came out to assess my roof in order to provide me with a quote. Out of the 5 roofing companies that I had come out for estimates, Tal spent the most amount of time, not only getting all of the information pertaining to my roof and what needed to be done, he also took the time to get to know me, being a widow of 2 years since my husband passed away. Tal was very detailed when getting specific information, including flying a drone above my roof in order to get some pictures and video of my roof. Tal, the owner of Top Roofing, was the only one out of the five roofing companies who actually went up on my roof to inspect it up close as none of the other roofing companies did this. Tal was also incredibly helpful with some other things that I needed help with. He either took the time to advise me or assisted me with some of the things that I needed help with. All of the workers were very respectful and hardworking throughout the project. Top Roofing also was able to fit me into their schedule and was able to complete the repair and replacement of my roof in a timely manner. The owner, Tal, was very good in keeping me informed of any changes as well as the status of the project. Tal was also available on site or by text if I had any questions or concerns and responded very quickly. I am very pleased with the expertise and results of Top Roofing. I love my new roof and would definitely recommend Top Roofing to any family, friends or anyone who needs any type of work done on their roof. I felt that the amount of work done was well worth the price that I paid. Just call Tal at Top Roofing, you won't be disappointed or sorry! read more

Five years ago we replaced our roof with an unlicensed contractor, and after dealing with leaks and other issues, we decided to redo the roof properly. This time we looked for a licensed roofer. We contacted two companies online, but a friend referred us to Tal. Tal was professional and in control from the start. His price was not the cheapest, but we are very happy we chose him. It has been a year since the installation, we have had plenty of rain, and everything is perfect with no leaks and no issues at all. We highly recommend Tal and his team. read more

My project started out with trying to fix damaged wood and gutters and ended up with a new roof. Luckily working with Top roofing has been great, Tal is awesome, and I am very happy with the results. My gutters were leaking and there was water damage to my wood after the winter rain. After many quotes it turns out most suggested I replace some of my shingles. I then decided to look for roof replacement quotes and after about 9 quotes decided to go with Tal and top roofing. What I liked about top roofing Tal, the owner and project manager is thorough, easy to work with, gives good suggestions, and super responsive. He always returns my phone calls within the day or even hour and we always agree on a resolution within the day. He helped give many suggestions but isn't pushy and leave the decision to me. And to help make things aesthetically pleasing he would add extra often at discounted prices. He really cares after the product and customer satisfaction. I also really enjoy the team being local (I have had experiences with sac area contractors not passing inspection and then coming infrequently to fix things) and his team is early and promptual. The contract was clear, detailed, but also itemized and customizable so I appreciate that. It wasn't overwhelming but gave me more control over details and pricing. Their work is fast and good quality, I was able to get the roof done in 3 days, with an extra day of detailed work such as patching some holes the old gutter screws left, replacing damaged drainage covers, etc. they also cleaned up completely after the 3 days which is better than some other contract work I have had done. The crew members are friendly and respectful. I also love Tal paying attention to details such as cleaning my solar panels before reinstallation and rerouting the wires so things look more appealing. Definitely the kind of minor things that elevates the result. In the end very satisfied and highly recommend Top Roofing read more

I have a concrete tile roof. I also get on my roof frequently to manage an antenna setup and clean solar panels. This type of roof gets rats entering the attic via the ridge line. Rats will eat the thick metal foil under the ridge tiles and enter. It's a constant effort to find these and seal them up. I also found a corner of my roof paper underneath the tiles had been damaged by squirrels. I have used a regular roofer on my house, but they have become too busy, too automated (need to use an online calendar to make appointments), and too expensive. So I was looking for a new company to work with. I did speak to a couple good outfits, but settled with Top Roofing. Tal is very professional, easy to communicate with on what i want and don't want, and his quote was reasonable. His team was able to complete the work in one day. A post-job drone review found a minor fixit that's getting taken care of. Definitely found my new roofer. My neighborhood has a lot of tile roofs. I will be recommending Tal as a a great contractor to make the roofs rat resistant. read more

Go with this guy! Good quote and good quality. He truly cares about his client and very responsive to messages. He tried to get my roof done quickly before my baby comes. Thank you! Our water heater is broken at night and he sent 2 guys to fix it immediately. That's dedication right there read more

I recently hired Top Roofing to replace a worn section of my roof that had developed leaks near a transition area, and the whole process went very smoothly from start to finish. Rom was great to work with. He did a very thorough inspection, explained the problem clearly, and recommended replacing the affected section rather than trying to patch it again. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell a full roof replacement and instead focused on the right solution for the situation. The proposal was detailed, the pricing was reasonable for the scope of work, and communication was excellent throughout the project. Scheduling was easy, the crew showed up on time, and the work was completed exactly as promised. The new section looks great and the transition areas were rebuilt properly, which was my main concern. I also asked if they could take care of a small additional repair while they were there, and they handled it without any issue. Overall, very professional, fair, and easy to work with. I would absolutely hire Top Roofing again and would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, high-quality roofing work. read more

Long overdue review, our roof was leaking last winter and I had multiple contractors come out to give quotes. Tal was incredibly thorough, inspected the roof, the attic, took photos, and explained the problem. He didn't push any sale on me and even provided DIY strategies that I could try before considering an entire roof replacement. He went on the roof to teach me the various ways I could address some of the issues and it ended up working perfectly. Our roof will eventually need replacing and when that time comes, I will reach out to Tal first because he was primarily concerned about helping us. read more

Tal is a very knowledgeable roofer and was extremely kind to me. He is both a roofer and a general contractor which made my life easier in this stressful process of getting a new roof. He explained the work thoroughly before it was done and even used a drone to record footage of my new roof after he finished to show me everything he did. Tal was extremely patient with me and was great at explaining away all my concerns. Tal was available throughout the entire process and gave extreme care to my safety since I stayed home during the roof work. After the work was done, he used a magnetic roller to go all throughout my yard to collect all the nails and other metallic objects that fell during the work to ensure that nobody gets hurt as a result of the roof work. The quality of his work was impeccable and the materials he used were excellent. I would highly recommend Tal to everyone who needs a new roof! read more

I would highly recommend Top Roofing. We were very pleased with the outcome of this roofing project. read more

I had Tal did our roof, gutters and downspouts for my newly constructed two levels home. It is easy to get pricing from Tal compared to other roofing companies. Simply an amazing experience! The owner, Tal is truly a professional and clearly passionate about what he does. He is the type of person that you immediately feel comfortable around, as he will honestly and patiently work with you. This was really the reason I chose his roofing company over all other bids, as he took the time to explain all the details that matter. This is especially important for someone like me who had zero knowledge about replacing a roof. Yasmin took care of all the back-end details. Always prompt and courtesy with any and all documentation and follow up from the start to the end of the project. And even afterwards when I needed additional, specific details to provide my home owner's insurance provider. And of course, I am very happy with the end result! A brand new roof that clearly shows quality work behind it. It provides the comfort, safety, and peace of mind that you would want for yourself and your loved ones in your household. The team that worked on my home each day was always diligent and efficient. Each day, they were always there as planned or early. They typically finished their planned work each day on time, and some times early too. And you would see the results each time and know that everything was done, as promised. Thank you Tal and Top Roofing!! It has been a pleasure, and I would recommend you to anyone looking for the right team to handle their next roofing project! read more

I recently hired Tal and his team to replace an old fixed skylight with a new solar-powered, venting skylight with built-in blinds, and I'm very happy with the entire experience. From the beginning, communication was great. When the skylight didn't arrive as originally scheduled, Tal called me immediately to reschedule for the next day, which I really appreciated. On installation day, they were delayed due to traffic and had to return once for a specific tool, but they kept me informed and still completed the work quickly and professionally once they started. Although their quote was the highest of the ones I received, I was able to negotiate a fair discount, and I feel the quality and service were well worth the investment. The installation was clean and thorough, and they did a full function test before leaving. One thoughtful touch I really appreciated: Tal used a drone to take before-and-after photos from the roof, which was both efficient and very cool. He also pointed out some cracks on the interior wall that may or may not have been pre-existing, but he made sure to flag them transparently. Before they left, Tal and his team walked me through everything and answered all my questions. Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I felt very well taken care of. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, honest, and detail-oriented for skylight work, I would absolutely recommend Tal. read more

If you are getting bids for getting a new roof, MAKE SURE you get one from Tal @ Top Roofing! What my family experienced was a consistently professional approach and the whole process from start to finish was top drawer. Roof 1; Rain 0. I needed a new roof by February 21st or my insurance company was going to discontinue. I also wanted new gutters, but I waited until just 2 1/2 weeks before the deadline to call anybody. Out of the five roofers who came over, Tal was by FAR the most cooperative! He gave the best bid, SWORE he was going to have it done before the rains came. Plus, he had the best vibe out of all of them. He got the roof and gutters up in just two days, finished things up on the third, and then the rains came. Perfect job! Tal was a great communicator the entire time, addressing all the concerns I threw at him. Milo and his team worked fast. Tal also took pictures with his drone. I sent them to the insurance company, and the policy is renewed! Thank you, Tal Family Builders! read more

After the last heavy rain we were surprised to find water in our garage. We reached Tal Family Builders after talking to a couple of other companies and they were able to have someone out to look at our roof the same afternoon. We initially had no knowledge of when our roof was previously replaced. With this in mind we reached out to Tal (and others) for an inspection and quote. This is where Tal stood out and eventually garnered our business. Tal was thorough with the inspection and really took the time to explain our situation and answer the many questions we had thereafter. His honest and straightforward responses sealed the deal. His staff were courteous and worked tremendously diligently with a speed and efficiency that left us astonished -- our project was completed in mere days! Tal gave us daily updates and was on site every step of the way. Our new roof is absolutely gorgeous and gives our home a much more modern look! The initial quote was VERY competitive and transparent with absolutely no hidden upcharge. So pleased to share that even with additional work done, the final cost was still well under the other's quotes. We highly recommend Tal Family Builders and will most definitely reach out to them for any future projects! read more

Tal is very nice, genuine and knowledgeable . He really thinks for his customers. I had minor leaks on my flat roof, which is only one section of the house. Usually big companies are not interested in small repairs like this. In this case, Tal not only came but also gave me good suggestions on how to take care of the small leaks on my own, which would save me money for a more thorough project down the road. I will definitely consider hiring him when my whole roof replacement is due. read more

I just have to rave the praises of Gil at Top Roofing. We were having trouble with our Vulex skylight and got Gil's number to come check out our problem. The skylight's motor was running fine but the skylight was not opening. With my husband being 79 and me right behind him, neither of us were going up on the roof. Gill went up and found the wires were being crushed and fixed the problem with a glove and vaseline. And to compound his kindness, Gil did not even charge us a call out fee. We still handed him $25.00 for gas to say thank you! We cannot thank Gill enough for his kindness to us. I can guarantee if we have any other problems we will not hesitate to call on Gil at Top Roofing for his EXCELLENT customer service and kind heart. Thank you Gil!!! read more

I called Tal Monday (Feb 3) around 4:30-5 pm thanks to a referral from a Roofing/Skylight repair company offering names in my area. It was raining hard that day and for the first time in the 15 years we've been here we saw a leak from the ceiling!! It was good that Tal himself answered my call and agreed to come and take a look. He arrived by 6:00 pm or so and went into the attic to examine the source of the leak. With videos he described the problem and offered to send me a quote that night itself. He did - shortly thereafter. His quote was not inexpensive. But he offered to get the job done the next morning (fortunately was not supposed to rain on Tuesday morning). We decided to get the work done by Tal since the others Quotes would have taken another couple of days and we did not want to risk more leaks or destruction. Tal and his team arrived promptly the following morning and got the work done within a few hours. He took pictures and showed us the extent and scope of the work. When it started raining the following day, I asked him to come out and take a look to ensure there wasn't any further leak and he came readily. There was none. I would definitely recommend Tal Family Builders to anyone looking for a good job to be done. With a person who stands behind his work. Thank you Tal! read more

I was very happy with Tal's attention to detail, thoroughness, and communication throughout the process of providing his estimate. My roof was a unique case with it currently being asbestos shingles and Tal went out of his way to do the research with the city for proper disposal methods and got estimates from asbestos removal companies to subcontract out to. He checked in with me every day to provide an update throughout that process. When he sent me the estimate, his pricing was very competitive with other roofers I received estimates from. I would definitely recommend Tal for your roofing project or remodel because he really cares about the quality of his work and providing you with the best recommendations and value for what your house needs specifically. read more
