There is a reason it's loud and it's not just because of the shipping container structure; it's because people go there and are not just having a meal, but having an EXPERIENCE! The service was great, staff were real relational people and invested in me having a great experience, not just in shoving food in front of me. Next: The food is incredible. Unique and delicious without being precocious. It's a solid meal with flavors that are just the right balance to be sensationally satisfying without being over-the-top-too-much. AND TONS OF GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS! Don't be fooled by gluten free, Work & Class has figured out the secret to making gluten free options that would rival any gluten recipe. So it's a place where EVERYONE can go, regardless of dietary restriction. And the prices are SUPER AFFORDABLE. You'll want to drop more money, just because everything is delicious and you'll want to try more! AND you can because the prices are so affordable! Awesome food in a casual setting First, you can't miss this place. It's in a building built entirely out of reclaimed shipping containers on the corner of 25th & Larimer, right near Coors Field in the Ballpark neighborhood. The space is modern, minimalist, with a great semi-covered patio. Perfect on nice days. For smaller parties there are individual tables as well as large communal table in the center. A small bar is just off of the entrance that seats about a dozen people. Food here is classic americana. From shredded pork, beef short rib, mashed potatoes and more. The red chile pulled pork was excellent, as was the short rib. Green chili covered fries, cheesy polenta, peppers 4 ways and the desserts, amazing! You could never tell this place has been open a month. Service was spot on and everything came out of the kitchen at a great pace. This is a great addition to the neighborhood with moderate prices, so it's accessible to everyone. I'm not the biggest fan, but still, I would give this place a 5-star review. Each dish has it's own unique, rich flavor, you almost can't go wrong with what you order. Highly recommend the chickpea croquettes. Work & Class is a great restaurant located in the Five Points, Northwest area. Rather than serving the typical traditional American cuisines, each dish has its little spin to it. What makes this place stands out is that each dish has its rich unique flavor with the right amount of spices. Having been here a couple of times already, I've never been disappointed. Regarding Covid, they are following the health protocols including, Hand sanitizer and ordering with contactless payment. They do have a decent size outdoor section where tables arranged for social distancing. But they're only offering takeout and delivery service for now. The service was stunning as well. This is a great BBQ place! The staff is super friendly, and the communal seating adds to the lively atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get seats right next to the kitchen, and the chef surprised us with some amazing samples of lamb and croquettes. I usually don't care for lamb, but after trying it here, I'm definitely ordering it next time! For our main meal, we went with brisket and chicken, paired with sides of mashed potatoes with bacon and goat cheese, along with seasonal veggies. Everything was absolutely fantastic, but the mashed potatoes really stood out with a strong smoky flavor that caught us off guard in the best way possible. We wrapped up the meal with a blueberry cobbler, which was the perfect ending--sweet, tangy, and just delicious. Another plus: most of the menu is gluten-free, which is great if you have dietary restrictions. Overall, this place offers an excellent BBQ experience that I can't wait to revisit! read more

one of my friend brought me here along with our other friends. it was happened last week when billy which is my friend's name asked me if i'm free. to make the story short, we came at work & class to hang out and to relax at the same time. it has a nice location which is easy to find. they also have many customer but not very croeded. we walked in and greeted by the staffs, they help us find seats and we were seated right away. the vibe at work & class is very lively and staffs are friendly, we ordered fried chicken which is superb, some salad and it is so fresh & delicious, we ordered also tempura. they also have different kind of unique foods in the menu so if you want to try something new or defferent, i think it is the perfect place. my first time here was great so obviously be back again. read more

This is the fourth time I've been to this great restaurant and I can honestly say every time has been excellent, food hot, fresh and full of flavor. Each time I' ve tried to order something different just to see if the food was pretty much the same quality and YES it was. Chicken was moist and tender, empanadas hot and very tasty! I did order the chickpea croquettes again cuz they rock. Had room for dessert so ordered the doughnuts with a delicious mocha filling. The vibe was happy as always and the service spot on. Did I mention a reasonable bill? This still blows me away that you can get all of the above for such a good price. These people know how to run a restaurant and boy can the chefs cook! I came here with my sister for happy hour after work on a Wednesday. We got a variety of apps and some drinks and enjoyed all of it. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly warm and attentive. The Mac & Cheese was my favorite. It was creamy, cheesy,and the shells were cooked perfectly with the breadcrumbs adding the perfect crunch. The Caprese was unique, this was the first time I'd had it with cucumber. I enjoyed it, and the pink peppercorns and sauce were well balanced. My sister enjoyed the blue corn empanadas. The butterscotch pudding was delicious, smooth, and not too sweet. A little something, something for everyone. Was recommend to try this out by our tour guide. I have to say, it was truly a treat. My wife is on a gluten free kick, and I was craving mexican food. It easily covered us both. A unique place, it is in a creative little complex made entirely of shipping containers! While novel and a fun design, it does not give you a ton of room inside. Who cares? With the food they put out, we totally forgot how small it was. Drinks were also heavy handed (aka generous), so all in all we left super satisfied. My boyfriend and I popped in late- like 8:30 pm and got some food before last call. The staff is really nice, attentive and hardworking. We ordered 1/4 trout, 1/4 pulled pork and sweet potatoes and a pom ginger drink. It was the perfect amount of food and all so delicious, flavorful, fresh, and healthy! The dining area is kinda tight and the seating isn't the most comfortable imo, just wood and steel. The music and liveliness of guests and the bar was kind of loud but if you're up for it great great vibe there! I really wanted to try the jalepeno cornbread and the cobbler- this is probably what I'll try next time! read more

The place has an amazing food and atmosphere. I come here with family every once in a while. I must say the meat is great. My fav is the steak with mac and cheese. Every time I come here I must have it. The drinks are delicious, so it's safe to bring your date here. One thing that this place is lacking is a good service and better prices. It's very expensive to dine here and most of all the waiters are mean and it takes a long time to have your food brought out to you. Sometimes they do get busy but even when they are not so busy the waiting is very long. I would highly recommend this place for dining. read more

Great place to enjoy, the food was delicious. The meatballs were delicious, with handmade marinara sauce and creamy polenta. The lamb and mashed potatoes were great. All dishes are fantastic for sharing, but my favorites are the lamb, short ribs, and pulled pork. The blue corn empanadas were incredible. The butterscotch pudding was the greatest I had ever had. Work and class is the best restaurant in Denver. You can always rely on an amazing meal no matter what you order with outstanding service. Our favorites are the braised greens, eggplant app, Mac and cheese, chick pea crochets, and pot pie. Although, anything you chose will be delightful. We got seated right away even though it was crazy busy. You gotta try the Lamb and pork carnitas, the green sand goat cheese mashed potatoes, the empanadas, and the homemade tortillas - all so hot, fresh, and delicious. And those limon con pepino and grapefruit habanero (not spicy) drinks are so light and tasty. Oh, and the butterscotch pudding is to die for. Seriously, give it a shot. New restaurants are great to go to, but I've noticed the theme of packing people in. This place has quality food but with a full house (went on a Friday) it just is really loud. A friend and I stepped in for a quick bite before we were off to the airport. We got short ribs and the lamb, both very flavorful. I preferred the lamb while my friend preferred the short rib. The cornbread wasn't bad, but just nothing particularly special. Portions were pretty small, but I suppose that's not too surprising at a tapas style restaurant. I recently visited on Friday and was impressed. Everything we tried was full of flavor, but a few dishes really stood out. The Blue Corn Empanadas were cheesy and delicious. The jalapeño cornbread muffins was one of the best bites of the night. The Maple Bacon Brussel Sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. No complaint about the food; they were delicious as I expected from this restaurant and the chef is still the same. Noisy inside; the place looked messy.
