The server was friendly. The service however was slow. The food was a bit over fried very crispy dark outside. The fish itself tasted good. It took a long time 40/45 minutes to get an order of fish and chips, a fish sandwich, and an order of 5 or6 wings. If I'm in that side of town I may give them another try, but won't go over just to eat there. read more

The food and the service can both be awesome, but sometimes it's hit or miss - I absolutely love their garlic Parmesan wings; sometimes they have plenty of sauce, sometimes you have to search the container to see if there's a droplet of it somewhere. Same with a hostess, I'm not disabled, but I'm an elderly veteran with a limp, and I can't sit at the extra tall tables with my legs dangling down. When we were sat at one of these & my daughter asked for a different table (there were plenty open), she had to leave a review with the restaurant manager to get reseated. Otherwise, the wait staff there has always been kind and helpful. Brunch is amazingly good, and their salads are off the charts (Cobb is my favorite). read more

Last night a large group of 20 were there. Our server was wonderful and very patient. One of the people in our party, passed out. 911 was called immediately and the manager was amazing. If we are staying in town for more than one night, we usually come here for something on the menu. My wife tried the fish and chips, she likes the cod fillets but the fries could use some love. We like fries with a little more crunch. They were seasoned, almost there. I have tried fish tacos, black bean burger and the chili on several occasions. They all tasted great. We use to frequent this place a lot more often when we lived in the west side. We decided to meet some friends there to watch the national championship game and enjoy some cold beer and food. It was our first time back in awhile and it appeared to have undergone some changes. For starters the service was awesome, they were very prompt and friendly and adjusted tvs around us to watch the game. The only negative was durning the game music was played a fair amount and it would be nice to hear the sportscast during big games as I felt most people were watching it throughout the bar. The food was good for the most part. The cheese logs are old faithful as they are our favorite appetizer, the tots were perfect, the nachos were good however all the middle chips underneath were crumbs like they were out of the bottom of the bag. We also didn't care for the boneless wings as they were more like chicken breast chunks rather than boneless wings so we would stick to traditional next time. Overall our experience with the new place was good but not what we remember. We would go here again when in the area but order a little differently next time. read more

The big (CHUNKY) manager has the worst attitude I've ever seen. He was acting sloppy when I walked in. I placed an online order and once I placed my online order, I show up to the store. I have a puppy and he's a 12 week old puppy so he has to go inside with me so I took him inside with me to pay for my food and leave because I placed a to go order and the manager just kept shouting at me to get out because I cannot have a dog in here like literally shouting at me. Everyone in the restaurant was looking at me. It was embarrassing. I will be calling for the general manager of the store.! What an excellent stop on our trip to Cincinnati! We were in the area visiting friends, and upon landing (we are from NJ), this place was recommended. Our Air BnB was close to Wishbone, so we decided to stop here for a quick lunch and a cocktail. This is not a fancy stop, but definitely served its purpose - cold drinks, TVs with the games, bar food (lots of it fried), and really friendly service. Shout out to Carissa (or Karissa!) for helping us during our visit - she was extremely attentive and a genuine pleasure to have as a waitress. The table ordered the fried chicken sandwich, the BLT, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both the BLT and the fried chicken sandwich looked amazing, and my party members agreed as such. The fries that came with the BLT, while not handcut, served their purpose for being salty, crispy, potato-y. My grilled chicken sando was ok - it was a bit bland, but to be honest, it was my fault for ordering it. I didn't want anything fried - so just keep that in mind if you are coming here. I would have definitely preferred the BLT or the fried chicken. However, I asked for the crispy brussels on the side and they were excellent - better than the sandwich, actually! This great place was hidden away in shopping center. Looking for lunch place after football camp at MSJ. Plenty of seating - regular tables and chairs, high tables around the bar area. Lots of big screen TVs with various sporting events on. Immediately greeted by a great waitress. Very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. They have great selection of beer on tap. The appetizers were amazing! Recommend the Brussel sprouts. Looking for laid back great place to have a beer and bite. This is the place. Everything was excellent. Biggest and best boneless wings in town! And the Cheese Logs are to die for! I also want to compliment the Monday night bartender - Sara. My husband and I average about 3 Mondays a month at Wishbone Tavern. Sara is the reason we stop by and always sit at the bar. We have sat at the tables a couple of times because the bar was full, and the service was much slower! Sara is on top of her game behind the bar and is always happy and converses with everyone at the bar while still giving great service! Kuddos to Sara! I just woke up to message from Katie Beck (a bartender from wishbone grill) saying she's going to call the police on me, put a warrant out for my arrest, and that she has me on camera walking out on a $70 tab. I've never been to this establishment. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of front of house management necessary for something like this to happen is beyond measure. For the bartender to Facebook message someone with threats and accusations, without evidence, is mind boggling. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over ten years and I can't understand what sane person would do a thing like this. So, if you guys are looking to get the police called on you and have a bartender harass you on the internet, don't go here! They'll harass you without you even going! My old roommate/best friend went our separate ways a few months ago. She moved to the Westside with her boyfriend because she's an adult, and I rescinded back into adolescence and moved back home. I understand this gives you no real background information other than showing I take self-deprecating cheap shots, but I am simply trying to explain how two Eastsiders came across Wishbone. Wishbone's tucked into an unassuming strip mall in Delhi. I would honestly never come across it unless I knew someone (aka my bestie) that had lived near it and already discovered it. The west side is not somewhere I pull out my Yelp app. I'd either get Chipotle or drive downtown if I needed nourishment. However, we were hanging out and she recommended we go over and have a couple drinks and some food. Her boyfriend and his friend had found it and raved about the food, so off we went. The restaurant/bar is large but the two times we've gone they've been pretty busy. The first time we went it was a Friday so I wasn't super surprised to find a bustling dining room and bar, but we visited again a couple days ago to the same scene. Apparently this is a second location for Wishbone. I don't know why but my assumption would be that they outgrew their first one. Even though we've been met with a busy restaurant the times we've come in, my friend and I have never had an issue grabbing a table immediately. The staff is always friendly. They have a decent tap selection which seems to be pretty popular because I've been met with the "oh let me check" what's on tap and as soon as they tell me it the keg of something blows out. Thankfully it's never happened on a beer I wanted to drink. They have good domestic beer specials for you boring drinkers. My friend always starts with the fried pickles and I get the mozzarella logs. Their appetizer portions are huge. The batter they use to fry items is light and our apps are always delicious without being heavy or overbearing. I typically get their wings; Mondays is boneless wing night and Tuesdays are for the bone-in. There's a large variety of sauces and the wings are large and perfectly cooked. My friend has ordered a different item every time. She's only been disappointed with the buffalo chicken wrap, but 9/10 is a good percentage win. (I am bad at math, but she has been here more times than I have, so while I have been twice, she's been probably 10 times now.) We usually wrap up eating and close out before heading to the bar section if there's seat available. All the servers and bartenders are helpful and friendly. If you find yourself in Delhi, look for the strip mall holding two businesses. One of them is Wishbone Tavern - this particular child's new favorite Westside restaurant. read more

We've been wanting to try this place. The weekends always seems crowded. Sunday night the kitchen was open later than most places so we got to try it finally! Nice big bar. Restaurant seating is small but we went to the bar I ordered buffalo chicken flat bread. My boyfriend got boneless wings. Prices are normal. I was too tired to complain I had just closed my week with 97 hrs.... I just wanted to eat and go to bed. My flatbread was burnt. If someone was to ask how that tastes the answer was burnt. I love Wishbone for sports, but their food is good enough that my family often comes even if there's no game on. And prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity! They've got a great menu with good variety, and I've enjoyed everything I've gotten. The Greek salad was one of the best and most flavorful I've ever had. Their pretzel buns are amazing, as well as their perfectly-browned tater tots. The pot roast sandwich is super yummy, and my dad swears by the Hawaiian burger (I'll take his word for it - I can't stand pineapple on things!) Yes - this is a sports bar. So it can be loud, and the food may take a bit longer on some days. But that doesn't keep it from being crowded with happy families and friends every time I go. read more

Have been coming here for a long time! My uncle and I have made this our official "after work quick beer and wing stop". We are still working on a name for that. This is by far one of my favorite places on the west side! For good reason too, the staff and food is always great and consistent. They have a solid beer and liquor selection as well. Wishbone use to be in a stand alone building which I prefer to the strip mall scene. It has since moved to the strip mall that was located behind its building. I didn't like to hear about that change but once it opened I was not disappointed. The rebuild is AWESOME! A very clean and updated almost "industrial" look. The wings are where it is at. They have a great not overly large menu. The pot roast sandwich is solid, but the wings are the way to go. I have never have a bad experience with the wings. The sauces are on point. I've tried nearly every sauce and not one has been bad. The garlic Parmesan is a lot better than most. I tend to lean towards the wisher mix because the flavor is nothing I have ever had at another wing place. Overall this place is amazing. Super amazing spot, food was delicious and drink menu is very affordable! We ended up getting the boneless wings deal that they have on saturdays, and I have to say these were some of the best boneless wings I've ever had. Beats out bdubs and so many other. A lot of chicken! We also got the Buffalo Chicken tacos which comes with chicken, Mac and cheese, ranch drizzle as well as Buffalo sauce (a little spicy but very good!) Getting off to a late brunch start the other weekend, my partner and I opted to try stopping in here as we saw they advertised the meal in question. I'd not been in for a few years, since they relocated. The new space is much nicer, lighter, less crowded. It wasn't too packed while we were in, but we ordered bottomless mimosas (not very strong, but they were fun and the staff kept them full). The brunch menu is pretty limited, but acceptable. He had the French toast with their pretzel bread- which I remembered as being the best app on their regular menu. That pretzel bread is great. I did the chicken and waffles and it was pretty good- I've had better, but I've also had worse. In the old location the service was always the bad part - slow, unreliable. If that's still an issue now I don't know, because it wasn't when we were in. Everything came in a timely fashion and we were well attended to. It won't become a default brunch spot, but it's nice to know we can pop in from time to time. I'd like to head back in for dinner again, and see the bar properly. I drink a wider variety of beers now than I did then, so it should be interesting. read more

I love the boneless wings!! All flavors are fantastic. My wife routinely tries all the salads and loves them. They have lots of drink specials for many occasions. Definitely one of the top places in Delhi. The owner and family are great. Bartenders are wonderful. Welcome here frequently. Food is consistently good. We had my sons graduation party here last Saturday. It costs $100 to rent the room and they ask you to spend $300 for food. We had 200 wings, a tray of sandwiches, a pot of chili, two large salads and pretzels and chips. Unlimited pop. Well worth it!!! Everyone raved about the food! The manager, Steve, set up the room and made all the accommodations we needed. Our waitress, Rachael, was amazing! We never had to wait for anything. What a great experience! It's not what it used to be. Honestly, the food is mostly good, that's not the issue. A couple years ago, at their old location, this was my favorite place. They've changed so much, and not for the better. Gone are the amazing 6.99 lunch specials where you could get any sandwich with fries and a drink. It's now a half sandwich with a cup of soup for 6.99, and it's the club and BLT sandwiches. All of the prices have gone up significantly, and the menu has shrunk. No more cozy bar & grill feel. It was great to walk in and everyone know you and know what you wanted, but this place has outgrown its roots. I'll still stop by for a Nathan's burger on occasion, but nothing is the same. Even the staff isn't as engaged with the customers as they used to be. I miss the old Wishbone, and I know I'm not the only one. Edit: the place isn't busy at all- there's 13 or so people here. I've been waiting almost 20 minutes for a burger. So add a very slow kitchen in there too. read more

On July 8, 2022, tried to call (513)834-8607) three times. Their phone did not ring. Drove there & ordered salad from take-out window. Took it home and the 'Cob Salad' ordered with a substitution of grilled shrimp for chicken was a bed of dry lettuce with 5 cold shrimp. Went in next day, July 9, 2022, and ate in with same order. No problem there. Talked to manager about to go order. His response was, if I had called that night, he may have been able to give me a credit. Again, their phone was turned off that night. Have been to restaurant less than 10 times and have had a serious problem three times. read more

We used to love this place. It's one of the places I always order from when I come in from out of town but the quality of the food has gone way downhill. Last time I ordered carry out they forgot the sauce on both my burgers & it tasted like sandpaper. When I asked them to remake it, they offered me a cup of sauce or I could bring the old burgers back, wait another 30 min & they'd remake them. So an hour & two trips to the restaurant to get the burger I ordered or I could eat my cold burger with a cup of sauce. Didn't offer a refund, nothing. Such bad customer service.
