I came in with an iPhone that wouldn't turn on after having fallen from a table. Came out ten minutes later with a phone that came back from the dead. And Gary wouldn't let me pay anything since he didn't have to replace anything and just "jumped the battery". I can't say enough great things about Gary and wireless options. If you have a phone issue, come here First! He saved me not just once, but twice in a month! He sincerely cares about his customers and it shows. My phone got wet and died on a Sunday, the day before I needed to receive an important call about surgery I needed to have. To say I was in a panic was an understatement. I didn't need to tell Gary what I needed the phone for, but I am sure he could tell I was stressed and set about finding an alternative for me when it was clear my phone was "toast". I love Gary! I've been a customer since he had his table outside the local CVS. Always such a nice guy and so helpful. I've bought so many covers for my various phones from him over the years so I knew he was the one to come to when I needed to fix my cracked beyond use screen. I just met Kiki, his niece I believe, for the first time and she's the one who fixed my cracked screen, She did a fantastic job! I dropped my iPhone at a concert last week and had been walking around with a cracked screen for about a week when my mom called me and said "oh no, I dropped my iPad and need a new screen!" I had Gary do a complex repair, fixing the lens cover glass. It's a job where you have to dig out the glass and then glue in the replacement. Long story short, the replacement glass was wedged in, and I could feel it protrude from the camera bump. I thought it would be fine though it didn't look great. Unfortunately, the glass started to delaminate and come loose, which means the camera module I bought at 80 bucks is getting ruined. I texted Gary about it, he didn't reply. A week later, I call him, his vm is full. He texts, I explain again, asking if there's anything he can do to fix it, and he says "I can re glue it". Gotta say that's a weak ass response, I paid 200$ for this (also swapped the screen), and he doesn't seem to care that much. He could've apologized or offered to have me come in to get it fixed. But I'm not going back. Now I have wasted almost 300 and have to buy a new phone. Not happy. read more

100% satisfied! My phone wasn't holding a charge and sometimes wouldn't even recognize the charger. I did everything you should to figure out the trouble: took battery out, tried a new battery, different chargers, outlets, etc. Nothing worked and I was leaving on a trip so needless to say I really needed my phone to work. I stopped by Gary's shop on my way to work. He was there and said that he would fix it before my trip. It ended up being the inside of the charging portal that needed some work. He had it fixed and ready same day when I got off of work for only $65!! WAY better & less expensive than having to purchase a new phone! I finally suffered a shattered screen on my cellphone. After getting the runaround from T-Mobile, despite paying for replacement insurance, I instead looked up screen repair options near my office. I called Wireless Options and was told that the owner would be at my location in 5 minutes. He was. I gave him my phone, and the info he needed. He had the phone repaired and ready in 35 minutes, good as new. Very professional, high quality, very friendly. I hope I don't break another screen, but if I do, I know where I'm going. I can only echo the other excellent reviews for Gary's business. He was really a lifesaver for me today - the charging port in my Galaxy S5 failed before a major business trip with my boss. Corporate IT couldn't fix it or replace it fast enough. AT&T and other small repair shops told me I had to replace my phone; no time for that! Gary rescued me. He's also a strikingly cheerful person, which took some of the edge off of a stressful experience. Repairs are cash only. I did bad math at the ATM and came up a buck short. Gary didn't mind at all. Postscript: my phone failed completely the next day. I'm not upset since Gary tried and it was time for an upgrade anyway. Did require some panicky preflight acrobatics with AT&T for a replacement. read more

He's honest about what repairs are needed and has very fair prices. Not sure what this says about my family's coordination, but since I discovered Gary's shops in Oakland and Albany earlier this year, we've needed 4 phone repairs. Gary even met me at his Oakland shop at 9:30 pm one evening to fix a phone that needed sudden repair before a trip. I can't recommend this local family-owned business more highly! I initially went somewhere in SF to get my phone fixed. A day later my phone stopped working and I did not feel like heading back out that way. My iPhone 6s screen was completely broken into small pieces. My doctor recommended Gary. Quick excellent service at a great price. Gary explained to me what was needed told me everything upfront. His niece actually did the work and did an excellent job. When I had some issues charging the phone after I got home he explained what I needed to do was simply clean out the port that connected to the charger. Now I live here and I can't get it re fixed by him and would have to of full price somewhere else. But I saw a girl come in while mine was being fixed with the same problem and he repaired it for her for free.. So he will probs fix it but I'm frustrated that my phone freezes every 5 seconds.
