As good as it gets! Amazing customer service. I own a gym up the street and my screen fell onto our concrete floor and shattered. I sent a message via Yelp and it was contested within a few minutes. The owner, Gary gave me the option of coming down to his store front or he could pick it up for an added convenience fee. When I explained that I was at work and wouldn't be able to get there before he closed, he did me a favor and came and picked it up, repaired it, and brought it back. He didn't even charge me the convenience fee. From the time I sent the message via Yelp to when my phone was repaired was less than 3 hours. I can't recommend him and his service enough. I have actually already sent a couple people his way already. Totally worth the money I paid Gary. Highly recommend! read more

Screen repair for my daughter's iPhone. Very quick and personable service. Was clear on quote and timing. Friendly and made the time to answer daughter's questions. I phoned in advance, and I didn't have to wait. read more

Have never cracked my screen before and really couldn't stand to look at the cracked screen. Found this option since it's open all day and was not disappointed! I was greeted by Gary his wife, and some super sweet pitbulls. I was even offered pizza! He finished swapping my cracked screen in about 20 minutes and we held some great conversation while doing so. I felt right at home but more importantly in & out in a jiffy. He makes sure that you test your phone before you go which is a good call. I will be recommending his services to all my friends in need and I recommend giving him a shot if you need. read more

Wireless Options - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Oakland, California

It doesn't get any better than this!! I emailed Gary at 7pm to get a quote for a cracked screen on an Iphone 6S. He responded asking if I needed it fixed that night!! Because I am not a crazy person, I told him that I was hoping to have it fixed the following day. Gary responded back with a quote and I told him I'd be by Friday afternoon. When I arrived, Gary remembered our conversation and told me to pull up a chair. I sat down and talked with him for about 20 minutes while he replaced my screen. He is honestly one of those people who, after having a conversation with him, you want to be his friend for life. He had me test out my phone to make sure everything worked before I left, and then he gave me a hug and sent me on my way! I would recommend everyone to Gary, and will be sure to stop by anytime I am in the neighborhood just to say, "Hi!". read more

I couldn't say enough praise for Gary and his business. My phone was horribly cracked and soon to be not usable. I was visiting my brother from out of town and he actually came to my brother's house within a few hours! He fixed my phone quickly. His knowledge and expertise was obvious. Not only does he provide fast, affordable and excellent service, he is also a very nice and courteous person. His pride in his a "mom and pop" business shows--he is a family man who really seems to care about his customers. I would choose him to fix your phone, hands down. Thank you Gary!! read more

Excellent service, courtesy, competitive price, fixed my iPhone7 screen in 25 minutes. If you can't find a parking place go 2 blocks west (toward Broadway) on 19th to the Oakland city parking garage on the left. $3.00 for an hour. read more

The owner Gary was out of town but his assistant was able to fix/replace my screen in 30-45 minutes and I am very pleased.

Gary's customer service is the best I have ever experienced by far. My phone 6s was unable to be charged. That little green pilot light in the upper right corner just wouldn't go on. Gary fixed the problem without needing to change the charging port. His charge for what he did was nominal. Not only that he stayed in touch with me via several text messages the rest of the afternoon as at first I thought his repair had not worked. I finally found out that the problem was in the cable I was using for the test. read more

Gary was amazing. It was after hours and he waited for me to get to his shop. He soothed my nerves while fixing my iPhone 6 Plus. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their phone fixed. Great guy and great customer service. read more

While other places were giving me quotes of up to $100, they simply told me how to reboot my iphone, and fixed it for free. A good yelp review is the least I could do. Thanks! read more

I have been doing business with Gary for over 8 years now. It began when he would sell his merchandise on the corner of Webster and 20th. I couldn't begin to describe the A1 service this business has. The most recent service I received was my boss flew into town and at the airport broke his screen to his iPhone. As soon as he showed me, I knew where to take it. Although, my boss had meetings all day, I told him I'll take to Gary and get it done while you are meetings. lol and behold l, an hour later it was brand new. The fact that Gary took the time after he fixed it to make sure everything was working properly, that really impressed him and me. Take all your wireless solutions to Gary, he will take great care of you. read more

5 stars for customer service, 1 star for quality of work. We reached out to replace a screen on an Android, got a response + quote + job done very quickly. When I picked up the phone I noticed the screen was glued on not straight and lower than the actual screen, mentioned it at time of pickup but was told there was nothing he could do, just get a case to cover the new gap . Now the front camera is obstructed by the new screen, $220 wasted on a newly created problem. read more

I've been a devoted customer of Wireless Options for several years. Over the years I've known Gary (owner), I purchased two cases for an older Motorola Atrix II phone and loved them both! The sparkly kind, with "bling"! He went out of his way to find cases for my now "ancient" phone. But when I upgrade to a newer phone, I'll hit his place first for a new case. I also purchased a car charger, extra charger for work and a screen protector (the "film" you lay over the glass), which Gary expertly applied for me so it wouldn't have any bubbles in it. Such great customer service! And the prices on all the accessories I purchased were lower than anywhere else. But perhaps THE best thing about Wireless Options is that a visit to his shop is a social "happening"! His adorable dogs (Bubbles and Arnold) will greet you with wagging tails and happy faces, other customers will take the time to chat with you and you'll end up meeting everyone on the block and in the neighborhood because they all pass by or through his spot! It's a great, positive scene and I love supporting small businesses that really know how to treat their customers right!! I highly recommend his shop! See you there! read more

Gary was quick and super friendly! On top of that, he was very honest about pricing and the best options for repairs.

Like everyone else looking for an iPhone screen repair, I dropped my phone and two tiny shards were sticking out. I knew I needed to repair it ASAP and Gary was fantastic in his quick response to my call. Kiki repaired my phone at the super convenient Oakland location (a four minute walk from Bart) and Gary came in to make sure it would be completed before she left for the day. $100 later I am a happy and more careful iPhone owner. Definitely recommend Gary for repairs! read more

Review from my husband -- I needed a new battery for my iPhone 6+. Kiki greeted me and said it would take 30 minutes all told. She was right. Unfortunately, as I was about to leave the phone restarted on its own. She right away said that the battery was faulty. It turns out the whole batch of 4 batteries was faulty. Kiki worked with Gary the owner to get new batteries right away. She even offered to come early morning before the store officially opens to take care of my battery. I went in around 10:00 and was set within 10 minutes. Impeccable, expert and friendly service. Batteries don't always work. Great service does! If you're in Oakland...don't look any further. This is the place to go! read more

I needed my iPhone 7 camera lens replaced and my flight to Aruba is in a few hours. Gary fixed my lens within an hour and now I have perfect lens to take Instagram worthy photos of flamingos and white sand blue beaches of Aruba. read more

I was home for the holidays, cracked my phone and he fixed my broken screen quick, professionally and fairly priced. I made a last minute, early morning appt and he was flexible, honored the appt and dependable in being on time. I respect the way he runs his business and highly recommend! read more

My phone was completely cracked (iphone7) and they were incredibly thoughtful and professional throughout the whole process. Turns out it was the phone that was the issue and not the screen! But while we were trying to figure that out, Gary let me use a new screen temporarily so I could continue with my life. He even ended up giving me a ride to buy a new phone, which was way above and beyond. KiKi was very patient with me and tried to explain what was happening with my phone every step of the way, which I really appreciated. All in all, highly recommend - wonderful and honest. Also, Arnold and Bubbles are the best :) read more

I can't recommend Gary at Wireless Options in Oakland enough. I used Yelp's "Get a quote" option to make contact the first time. I filled out the form to give him more info about my phone and the problem, I have an LG and the repair was a battery and charging port problem, and he got right back to me, sent me a link to the part we needed so I could order it on amazon and quoted me the labor cost. He didn't try to sell me the part at an increased price. He replaced the battery and it didn't completely fix the problem. We figured out the port was also an issue so again he gave me the part link and when it came in I dropped off the phone and the next day he let me know it was fixed and ready to go. He tested all the charging systems and gave me back a working phone for a tenth of the cost of buying a new phone which is just not an option right now. read more

dropped in to get my cracked screen fixed on my iphone. Gary was super friendly, and his dogs are super cute. He had a couple phones in front of me, so I dropped it off, got some lunch, came back, and he had it fixed like new. I bought a tempered screen cover, and he installed it for me. He also gave me a 2nd screen saver for free since the one he installed had a small bubble in it. Great service and easy. Thanks! read more

Was told that the screen was an authentic apple screen when it clearly wasnt and I wouldve been fine with it if I were told from the beginning that it wasnt but it sucks to find out Ive been lied to after the fact. Went home and noticed that the screen had grey ribbing running across it. Also the screen was set a bit higher than my original screen. Service was minimal if anything. Prices are higher than most other vendors ive tried and also takes longer than most other places to get a phone fixed. Screen was faulty and had issues with the touch sensor a few months in. Also it's cash only. Honestly would definitely not recommend this place as a first option. read more

Quick, responsive service for a broken iPhone screen. Thanks, Gary.

Found this place walking by. I'm very pleased. Fast, friendly service and reasonably priced. Would recommend if you got a broken screen!

Fast, friendly and Black owned! Gary's got you. I appreciated the bookshelf full of children's books. Reading to my child and Bubbles the dog made for a homey wait for my phone. read more

Gary is wonderful! My boyfriend and I have slightly off work hours, and he was so flexible. He did his best to work with us, even past his usual hours. Puts an amazing amount of effort into customer rapport. I really appreciate his willingness to communicate, especially since I was point of contact and my boyfriend had no phone. His pups were also worth a visit to the shop! Such reasonable prices too! Got the phone back after he worked on it over night. Hopefully we don't have any more phone issues, but I'd definitely come back to Gary! So friendly and easy to speak with! read more
