The second time I went a little earlier 11:15pm and once again, we are not talking orders anymore! Uhm ok, it says the close at 12am but apparently it's at 11pm. Went once again at 10:59pm and was told they're not taking orders!! What a joke this location is. Never going to this location again. Plus went to a different location and asked if I could have 4 small ranches which are $1.19 each and this location has always sold them to me and never told me that you could buy a large one for $3! Oh why oh why did I not look at the reviews before going there yesterday . Okay, let's begin. I had Wingstop for the first time last week at a friends house in Oxnard. It was soooo good. So yesterday I decided not to cook and treat my family to a treat to the one in Upland. 1. Unprofessional staff: the lady who took my order was not friendly at all but at least she was not rude. During the wait time I watched the staff joke around unprofessionally at the front door of the store something about the store was not opened properly. Seriously, I, the customer, don't need to hear that. 2. Food was bad: I know I told this lady Bone in. But I should have looked at my receipt. So I did not make a fuss. Some of the items were way over seasoned. I had to rub off some of the spices with my napkin. The wings were over cooked; some parts were difficult to chew. Who leaves part of a boneless wing on a plate. Scandalous!!!! The fries were gross. What kid does not like fries? Apparently mine. Overall I will never, never spend my money there again (kicking myself for not just going to the pizza joint a couple of doors down.) Derrick, who was the cook today, was friendly, courteous and outstanding. He made our first time experience a great one. He had a smile on his face, offered to help us on our order, and walked up to our table to offer us coupons out of his own will. That shows great character and customer care. It doesn't matter what his position is, what matters is that he went the extra mile to make us feel happy and served. These stars are intentionally for him only. We ended up picking up lemon pepper wings floating in oil not extra crispy with hardly any seasoning. Seems like the kids working in the kitchen really where in a hurry to go home did not realize this place had two stars till I went onto yelp to see the reviews don't understand how owner still manages to keep this place open. If you want to order wings the way you like to have them stay away from this place unless you want To end up with an order of wings that Aren't nothing like what you ordered and expected. I'm only coming to review here because I have been to this location one other time and had THE WORST service: 1) I called in to order my wings well done. I arrive and my wings are far from well done.lI ordered them plain so I asked if they could just cook those wings a little longer. To which the cashier responds "so you want them dry" ..... I said yes, when I called I asked for "extra extra extra burnt well done" ... she said "fine!" My husband and I love wingstop! And being new to the area this location is very convenient for us, but I doubt that I will be giving my business to this location anymore! The first time I did a phone order (2 weeks ago), the girl who took my order said they were pretty busy so it would be about 30 minutes, so I get there 45 minutes later only to wait another 20 minutes but they were busy so I patiently waited although I had ordered 50 minutes prior. However I noticed the girl in the back doing the cooking was very RUDE to the employees and the customers. Fast forward to this evening I placed an online order told me to pick up at 8:30pm, when I arrived the cashier was polite she charged me and proceeded to show me my order which was 2-10 piece all flats one lemon pepper and Louisiana rub the other mango habanero and lemon pepper which they gave me mango and Louisiana so I said this should be lemon pepper, she goes to the back and tells the cook in which I'm assuming is also the manager, she comes to the front checks the receipt then the order! Then she grabs the Louisiana rub wrapped in the paper takes it to the back puts it back in the frying baskets, comes back with the lemon pepper SWIMMING IN GREASE (just disgusting). She she not welcoming at all, she NEVER once spoke and while handling my order she fussing at the guy in the back telling him he forgot someone's order. I said thank you and she apologized for the mishap! But I say this, there definitely needs to be some work on the CUSTOMER SERVICE, because without the customers the business won't stand. Fries usually look like they're re fried, so I started ordering veggie sticks. I went on Friday 2/9 and the wings were disgusting. They were drenched in some type of thick oil which I've never seen at any wingstop. the skin on the wings was so chewy, like they just barley cooked enough so that they weren't raw. All the employees here give HORRIBLE customer service whether you're giving an order over the phone or inside. They're all young employees who don't care for what they do. I ordered over the phone & when i got to the location, my order was not placed into the system. After this, the girl behind the counter said it would be a 15 minute wait which turned into a 45 minute wait. People who walked in AFTER me received their order before me. After I finally received my order but there were no fries on my tray. I asked about them & they said they ran out of french fries. I asked if i can get my money back since i didn't get fries which are part of the combo & they said i wasn't able to get my money back because i got my wings & drink. Furthermore, i wanted to put soda in my cup & there was no ice in the machine. I proceeded to fill my cup up with soda only to find out the Dr. Pepper was flat. Smh typical crap when it comes this location. So lets start from when I originally called to place my order because i know there is a usual long wait and i was coming from 45mins away. She tells me she sees the online order but they haven't started it yet. (Which is interesting, i placed the order definitely 15-20mins before I arrived) Her phone begins to put out a loud busy sound because i hung up my phone from being on hold the whole time. The young lady did ask her supervisor/manager if there was any way they could make my order and did considerably ask how long before my order will be done. Her supervisor said it didn't matter they have 7 other orders before mine. Great, so aside from them not caring. This would be the second time in 2weeks that I've waited longer than the people who arrived after me for my order to be made. I understand how busy Wingstop is but customer service is more than placing an order and handing over food. What about your phone customers, what about your online customers, how about a smile or a little better understanding that that you dropped the ball with your customers and what can we do to better serve you. Or help with your experience. As i am sitting in your store waiting for my order after 30mins still, i can hear that another gentleman placed a phone order but apparently they didn't get his order correct so they told him they didn't have it at all and took his order in store. We've eaten here a few times, and the food is good (usually) but the amount of time it takes to get your food is ridiculous. It took 30 minutes (order placed at 7:34 and was "ready" at 8:04) and it wasn't even busy. Then, it wasn't really all ready and we had to wait 2 more minutes for 3 rolls. I'm not happy with this location. I'll try another location next time, hopefully they know how to manage time and orders better. Oh, and my teenage son went to get a box and the employee says "do you need something" to him. How can I help you would have been a much better thing to say.
