I paid a recent visit to the nearest Wing Stop, and it was the same as it usually was: decent wings that take a little longer than one would expect. I have been to different Wings Stops about a dozen times or so. The setup here is what you'd expect any wing joint to be like: you choose either the wings or boneless chicken and then the flavor or flavors. Pretty early on I discovered that the Lemon Pepper was really good; neither too lemony nor too peppery. I wish I could say the same about the other flavors. While I do love my food how I like my women, spicy, their Original Hot and Cajun flavors are simply too powerful. Not spicy powerful, mind you, but powerful in a way I cannot really put my finger on. I think it's the vinegar they put in, but again I'm not exactly sure. If Wing Stop would let me in their kitchen, I would try hide the vinegar bottle and add more hot sauce. There are other more exotic and sweeter flavors available (Teriyaki, Hawaiian, and some others) but I have never been inclined to try them. Overall, the wings here are of superior quality compared to other chains. I just wish they could do a better job on the standard issue stuff. read more

I went here last night with my fiancé and ordered a 30 piece wing with their advertised Korean BBQ sauce and an order of fries (not seasoned). We had been working all day and didn't finish in time to go to our regular spot. We were both starving but not enough to motivate us to finish the food we ordered. The fries were seasoned (with brown sugar) and were soggy. The meat on the chicken was fine, but the sauce tasted burnt and bitter. It was hard to stomach without drowning everything in their ranch dressing. The best part of the meal was the drink and the ranch dressing. They offered me ONLY half of my original order even though I still have 95% of the food uneaten in my fridge (which will go in the trash, sorry kitty). This is not a review of the food - the food is good. I wanted to buy a gift card for my husband as a gift since he loves wings and found it nearly impossible. There were no gift cards to be found in grocery stores, which is fine, so I went online. The website has a gift cards section but you can't purchase a gift card online, only check the balance of an existing one. Frustrated, I tried stopping in to buy one only to be told that they only accept cash for gift cards. What chain restaurant with the capability of accepting credit/debit cards would possibly decide they'll only take cash for gift cards? Hardly anybody carries cash anymore and they're missing out on the money I tried many times to give them with this policy. You can order food online and pay with cards, pay with cards for food in the restaurant, but gift cards have to be cash. It's ridiculous and disappointing. read more

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Placed a large order got all the way home and it was missing fries. I called to speak to the manager and ask for a partial refund because I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant while my family sits and waits, and the fact that my wings will be freezing cold when I get home. The manager says, "No, sorry all I can do is make new fries for you. No refund unless you come back and bring all your food for a refund. So they want a bunch of negative reviews? Placed an order at 12:45 PM to be picked up at 2 PM got there at 2 PM pay for my order and still waited 20 more minutes for my order to be ready the manager of the day or leader or whoever the guy was asked for my telephone number and my name so he could give me a free order next time I went back there. They are though a bit on the expensive side - I went there with my college age son and didn't think that a 12 piece for 2 people would do the trick. In looking at the menu one can order 3 extra wings for another $2.80 (basically $1.00 wing). So we got one of the family packs and didn't realize it came with a ton of fries (don't really eat fries) and spent $30 on lunch for 2 people. They have screwed up my order multiple times and online ordering sometimes doesn't make it through. If you get put on hold they forget and you have to call back. This is my spot. Love the Louisiana Rub Bone in Wings (Well Done & Wet) as well as the Lemon Pepper. The guys (Robert & Ryan) that work here are cool and always get my order 100%. It's gotten to the point where I can just call and they know what I want and it's always on point. Plus they got a Coke Remix machine thing so that's a plus. I would like to preface my comments with this, I hope that the manager / owner reads these comments. I would rate my service and customer experience as poor. I made an online order at approximately 10 minutes after the hour. I arrived twenty minutes later at half past the hour. Not only was my order not ready but it wasn't even started. So I took a seat and started the wait. While waiting I had the unique opportunity to listen as the two workers behind the counter discussed their pay in comparison with other Wingstop resturants in the area, even throwing in a few choice expletives. My order was ready at ten til the hour for a total of 40 minutes. I used to do WingStop once a week. Now I frequent the other places in town which are superior only due to the fact that the cooks follow directions. Also about 1.5 years ago Wingstop shifted to some Frankenstein sized giant wings. The skin to meat ratio is completely off and the size is kind of disgusting tbh. But here is the real problem.... the staff is nice and perfectly decent but just dim. On repeated visits over the past year, I ask for well done wings, extremely well done. Really I just want the skin to be a little bit crispy. I even receive assurances at the register and told specifically they will be 23 minutes cook time. Then the fkn retards serve up my order less than 20 minutes later and insist they are well done. Soggy skins, chunks of fat that has not melted, etc. I even pointed this out and just received BS from the staff for the last time. Fk them. They didn't even offer to fix the order even though the staff had to clean the table and throw away a basket full of uneaten wings (8+3). Wingstop is disgusting now.... with their monstrous and undercooked wings. read more

Went to the Wing Stop on Broadway and if I could give it negative stars I would. We got 3 flavors, the hot which were very, very dry, so dry they were sharp and I cut my gums eating them also very small, the Louisiana Rub which were also very dry and extremley salty. The only flavor of the 3 that was any good was the Hickory BBQ. Wing Stop must get the smallest and dryest wings award! I make much better wings at home. The sad thing is I am not giving this Wing Stop location one star because of the quality of the food. I enjoyed the wings and would eat them again; I simply could not stand the rude and unwelcoming customer service I received. I placed an order online for 16 wings and went to pick them at the time stated on the receipt. When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely woman who had either worked for far too long that day or was simply angry at the world. I was told immediately that one of the flavors I had ordered was not available (despite the fact it was advertised on the website AND in the store) and I would have to choose another flavor. Now this is no big deal, but one of the things I did when I set up the account for the order online was provide a phone number, which I also saw on the receipt I signed. Why did I not get a call after they received the order asking me to choose something different? Anyway, after choosing the new flavor, the pleasant young lady at the register told the Wing Fry/Sauce Technicians what flavor I had chosen. Apparently my order had already been sealed in a paper bag that could not be reopened so they were putting the new sauce on the side in a plastic cup. When I asked if they were going to make the second half of my order I was told that the wings were already made and he was putting the sauce on the side. This was followed by "oh do you want them tossed in the sauce?" She then proceeded to announce to the Wing Prep Galley "um he actually wants them tossed in the sauce..." Now I did not want to inconvenience these fine employees by asking them to do the ONE JOB they have but I felt it was a bit silly I would be given plain wings with "dipping sauce" from a place that only serves wings... Needless to say, my wings were tossed in the sauce, with a side note of distain I am sure ,and handed to me with, what I perceived to be, a very sarcastic "her you go sir, all fixed. You have a good night." Now maybe I am the A-Hole here but I was not asking them to "fix" anything. I was asking for my order to be made correctly... Anyway, with all of this said, I would not have any problems with continuing to order wings from Wing Stop, I will just make sure it is at another location.
