    Fries

The hub and I had mixed viewpoints. He likes tenders and I like bone-in wings, so that's what I ordered, plus fries. They are pegged as jumbo tenders and wings, so I anticipated a crunchy outside and flavorful, moist interior. I know my hub, so although the dry rubs and sauces for wings are available for the tenders as well, I ordered the tenders naked. I tried the garlic Parmesan sauce on half the wings and the truffle garlic rub on others. Both were tasty. I do prefer my wings not breaded; usually boneless wings are breaded and bone-in are not. These were breaded, but they were juicy and crispy. These hub wasn't fond of the tenders. He said they were too thick, too big, and too chewy: more like a piece of chicken than tenders. I took a bite and didn't find them chewy, but I understood what he meant about them being too big for tenders. He really liked the fries, though, flavor and texture. I had a problem with the Tuxon Chix website, trying all afternoon to place an order to pick up at 5:30, but when I attempted to add the tenders, I kept getting a "try again" command. I finally gave up and did a bit of detective work to find a phone number, as I couldn't find it on the ordering site. A very nice man answered the phone, took my order, and said he would notify the IT people of the problem. My order was ready at 5:30 as promised. Four huge tenders, six wings, and fries came to $29 and change. There is plenty of food left over.

I ordered dinner to go on the website. It was easy. They sent a text to pick it up. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala tenders with French fries and a Mac and cheese. The chicken was tender and juicy. The smell of the spices was intoxicating. I really enjoyed the chicken and will be back to try the Tikka Masala Mac and cheese. Even the sweet tea was good.

Consistent week in and week out. I've made it through 7 sauces, the latest was Buffalo and it was really nice! Light breading as requested and the chicken is always just perfectly fried and juicy. I'm gonna bring my own carbless bun and try a sandwich next! Staff is always friendly & accommodating.

Thought I would check this place out and I was very pleased. Miranda at the window presented herself with a smile and very quick service. I took a look at the Wildcat with the fries and it was amazing. The fries are done just the way I like them seasoned and crispy and warm. The Wildcat sandwich was absolutely stunning. So much in every mouthful. I am very happy to know this place exists and I'll be going back again.

I learned about Tuxon Chix through Riana R.'s review (see below) which randomly popped up on my Facebook. Honestly, her picture looked so nice & the Caesar Salad Crispy Chicken Wrap looked so delicious, I knew I had to try it! It did not disappoint. The service was good & the dining room was nice & clean. My friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich and she also said it was really good. The portions are a great size and the fries were bomb! I did use the restroom while I was there and felt it needed a little bit a work (not dirty but needed soap and there was a bit of a sewer smell) but nothing terrible! Would recommend to friends and family if they are in the area!

This place was so good! We have already been back a few times, the vibe inside is really nice and going through the drive thru does not compromise the freshness of the food! The chicken is also halal which is awesome! Warning: they do know how to bring on the spice! So proceed with caution if it's not really your thing, but if it is you will thoroughly enjoy many of the hot options! The boneless chicken wings were more like giant chicken meatballs but I'm not complaining! I definitely recommend one of the sandwiches! Great spot!

I stopped by Tuxon Chix on my way home from work and went through the drive-thru. When I pulled up to pay, the man at the window told me I was the "lucky customer of the day" and that my meal was completely free! I asked if he was joking, but he assured me that he was completely serious with the biggest smile on his face He shared with me that he is the owner and today is his birthday. To celebrate, he decided to give away a free meal to the next person who came through the drive-thru, and it happened to be me. His kindness genuinely brought tears to my eyes just seeing how happy he was to give away a meal for free, all while working at his own restaurant on his birthday. I have been here many times before and the food is always fresh and delicious. The service provided has always been so welcoming and kind. I don't ever post anything on here, but I thought I could simply share my gratitude for the great experience I had today with a local business owner and try to bring him even more customers for his birthday! I'm sure would make his day :)

Really good! I wanted chic fil a on a Sunday so I ended up here and glad I did! the cheese curds are one of the best fast food items I've ever eaten but also one of the pricier items on their menu. The Cesar wrap was pretty good and the price on that was more affordable than the competition. Would definitely come back to try the wing flavors and more curds.

My nephew has an upcoming birthday and is a tenders/wings fan so when googling 'best chicken tenders in Tucson' this place was in the top 3. We tried it for the first time and everyone was super happy with their order. The Tuxson was very tasty! Prices solid and Friendly service!

BLUF: was overcharged by almost $5 at the drive thru window after a long (15 min+) wait for 2 menu items. Was excited to try Tuxon Chix for the first time today. Arrived in the drive thru a few minutes before noon with 2-3 other cars ahead. Nearly as soon as we entered the drive thru line, the third car ahead advanced thru and pulled away, leaving 2 cars ahead of us. After a few minutes, made it up to the order speaker, was told to wait for a few more minutes by the Chix window order taker. A few more minutes goes by (like 4 or 5) and were able to place an order - 4 chicken tenders with blue cheese dipping sauce, plus a buffalo chicken salad (that comes with ranch dressing). No total is given but once the order is taken and confirmed, we're told it will be a wait of about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes we make it to the window, where the order is confirmed and a hand is extended for payment. My husband has to ask WHAT IS THE TOTAL, and is told, $30.97. He turns and looks at me, because this is seriously more than we expected for two items, and proceeds to pay anyway. His payment card is returned and a bag of food handed to him, with the statement, "I threw some ranch in there too" and the window is closed. We waited another minute or so for the person to return to the window so we could request THE RECEIPT - you know, for the world's most expensive chicken tenders. Hubs hands me the receipt, the window is closed and we pull away. I discover that we've been charged for lots of extra things - the chicken in my Buffalo Chicken salad was $3.00 extra on a salad that was supposed to come with chicken, the ranch dressing that was supposed to come with the salad is appearing as an add-on of .75, and the blue cheese dipping sauce that was supposed to come with the tenders is also another add-on of .75. I went online once I got home to place an order for the exact same things and my total came to $26.08 with tax. I guess this shop charges an overhead fee of $4.89 for the EXTRAORDINARILY LONG wait at the drive-thru? As far as the quality of the food goes, it's just ok. It's just chicken. Was it done well? Yes, cooked to perfection. How was the taste? Fresh and delicious. However, we were overcharged enough that this is totally unacceptable to me, so 1 star review is what feels fair and equitable in this situation. I'd be happy to amend my review if the owner/operator of this establishment wants to contact me to make things right. Until then, 0/10 do not recommend.

Service was amazing and food cooked to order. Let's start with the main event: the wings. These bad boys are big. Not your average, skimpy winglets--these are full, meaty, and satisfying with every bite. The skin is perfectly crispy, the kind that crunches just right and still locks in that juicy tenderness underneath. But what really sets them apart is the sauce. It's a "sweet heat" situation that hits all the right notes--just enough sugar to balance out the spice, and just enough spice to keep you coming back for more. It doesn't overpower; it enhances. On the side, don't sleep on the fries. These aren't frozen, run-of-the-mill throwaways--they're homemade, golden, and seasoned with care. You can taste the difference, and they round out the meal in the most satisfying way. Whether you're a wing connoisseur or just hungry for something legit, CP's Wings makes it worth the trip. The interior decor is pretty lame with huge flat screen televisions on all the walls playing different sports games. I find it not very inviting for that reason. Many times the tables had not been wiped down as well. The pizza is flavorful, with good cheese and sauce, but for my taste the crust is WAY too thick and takes up too much of the pizza. I prefer a New York style crust so we ask for the thin crust when we go. My last experience (any maybe very well my LAST experience) was a take-out order placed on January 1, 2026. My mom and I had ordered and paid for it online through their website. When I went to pick it up the surly young gal at the counter asked for the last four numbers of the card used to pay. In my 40+ years of ordering food to go I have NEVER been asked for that information. When I explained I did not have that since my mom paid for it, she refused to give me our pizza, and basically held it ransom. We had even ordered a take-out less than three months prior and they never asked for that info. I guess it is a new corporate request and I must say it is a stupid idea. Since I also didn't have my phone with me I had her call my mom's phone so she could verify the numbers verbally and release our now-getting-cold-pizza from the jail it was in. Long story short, my mom didn't answer her phone (who answers unrecognized numbers anymore?) and so I asked to speak to a manager who then proceeded to say they could verify with the address on file as a secondary means. Why was I not offered that solution to begin with when it became clear I did not have the card with me? This was such an annoyance that I have NEVER experienced when picking up food to go, that I do not think we will give them our business again. When I first went to the counter I told the girl my name when asked, and confirmed the order, and that should be all they need to give someone a pizza that has been paid for. Management needs to reconsider this new thing of theirs and come up with something else. Too bad there just aren't many good pizza joints in this food desert I now find myself living in. Bye-bye Barro's! P.S. I miss you so much Bronx Pizza...

I found myself dipping it in more sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy, they kinda remind me of McDee's fries and were just as good. The tendy was huge and crunchy and served with a side of ranch and cowpig sauce. I also enjoyed the "jams" they were playing. It was some old school 80's and 90's hip hop and R&B bangers. The bar itself is very small but you can sit out in the back if you need more space. Although I didn't drink this time, it appeared that they had some really good beers on tap as well.
